Absolutely beautiful stained glass window[but I can't seem to get a good picture] that dates from the Art Nouveau era that was salvaged from a house in Maine. Has some great variety in the details of the panes. Some are marbled, some are wavier. There are eight jewels, one of which is a rock jewel. The window is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of wear and damage. Measures about 44 inches x 22 inches in the frame; the oval alone being about 40 inches x 18 inches. a very nice early 20's to 30-ish stained glass window from an old church in Raleigh NC. I liked it because it was very uplifting to me[as the colors seem to draw your eyes upward] and not overtly religious. It measures approximately 60 inches wide by 36 inches tall in its frame; its original frame. Which is in great aged condition.the single layer of old green paint is worn and frayed, yet presentable. Its not perfect, as few windows of this age are. There are some stable cracks, there is no missing glass anywhere. Currently, it is on display at Captain Buzzy's Beanery, at the corner or 27th and E Broad Street, on Church Hill, in Richmond VA[the last 6 pictures show the frame in some detail.it is sold, but has holes from years of use. ONE OF OUR VERY BEST ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW W/22 JEWELS KY# 166 Size: Framed 20"w x 64.5"h X 1 3/8"d. Glass only 16" x 60" x 52" 25 lbs. This arts and craft era antique transom window has some wonderful bevel. textured and crackle glass that is surrounded by 22 jewels of medium and small size. All of the clear glass is beveled. There are about 4 panes with cracks and they are close together as seen in my photo with the fingers extended. Really an easy repair and worth it. Nice large transom that is much better in person than the photos show. Frame is painted on both sides with one side being very crusty and dark paint. Should be stripped. You will love this one. ANTIQUE *STAINED GLASS WINDOW * 21" X 27" EXCEPTIONAL DESIGN!
Up for bid is this beautifully designed vintage English leaded stained glass window from the early 1900's. It's 21" X 27" with frame. The original antique frame was damaged during it's removal from the old English home so a solid wood replacement frame was made. It can be painted or stained or left in original natural condition. There are triangle shaped reinforcement wood pieces attached to each of the four corners on the back of the frame. There is a very small space between the glass pane& the leading on the 2nd pane from the right(lower) This little bit of slippage happened when the glass/leading were being reframed. The glass is very secure in the new frame. The extra large design is unique& very detailed! A variety of different shapes& sizes of stained glass were used in this design. The purple. Amber ... moregold, garnet red& green stained glass colors all blend very well together. Notice the various glass textures that were used! This makes a big difference with the overall look of the stained glass design& look awesome in any type of light. The honeycomb texture is one of my favorites! The clear glass panes surrounding the design allow you to see outside while still enjoying the beauty of the stained glass design. The window can actually be displayed in two different ways. See photos 2-4 for an alternate way. There are no nics or chips in any of the glass. The last photo is the back of the window. Beautiful Leaded and stained glass figural saint with 2 angel faces. Painted church window. This window measures 33.5"w X 97.5" tall in the Frame. frames are 3" thick Very heavy duty. Antique Victorian Old Stained Glass Transom Window Roundels Purple c1890
This is an old c1890 transom window salvaged from a Wisconsin residence. Beautiful textured and slag pieces with an amber pressed glass center surrounded by purple roundels and floral accents. Minor cracks. But no broken pieces– center pressed amber panel is slightly bowed so will need some gentle restoration. In the pine frame, it measures 48”w x 19 ½”h and measurement for the glass only is 43 ½”w x 15 ¼”h. A gorgeous example of Victorian glass! Shipping to the lower 48 is $150.
