These hung outside of a residence in Brussels Belgium. On the front door left and right of the door. But covered under a roof of the entrance. So these were protected from the rain etc… On another note. These sconces are not made to hang them straight in open air. These are not waterproof etc… These come with 5 pieces of glass each. We replaced these with new ones as the old ones were cracked and missing. The glass is new. 4 on each side of the sconce and one underneath. Originally these were painted or finished is a black paint. Rust was coming trough here and there. So somebody in the past finished these in this reddish color finish. You can either leave these ... morelike that. Which I personally prefer as it shows the age and character of the sconces much more. You can either strip the paint of or paint over this color to make it a more distract appearance. Just to give you a couple of ideas. These sconces were probably custom made at the time for this house. The estate these came from were higher class of houses for that time of period. Now the size. One sconce is missing the threaded rod mounting hardware but one can be found at your local hardware store. The finish is fair and could be cleaned up easily with Brasso or left with its natural patina. The glass globes are in good shape and don't need replacing. Old antler mounted on a wood back plate. These sconces date back to the 1940's or about. Maybe even older. We found these in the South of Belgium near the French border. These might be French or Belgium. Anyway these were custom made for the cabin were they have hung up to now. The South of Belgium is know to have a lot of cabins in the woods. Great pair of sconces. These do have the European wiring and will need to be rewired to work in The USA. You can also use adaptors if you like. They measure 16" long would stand out from the wall 4" and are 8" wide. Missing the paper or plastic candle covers is the only damage I can find. Antique art nouveau small brass wall mirror with 2 candle sconces PRICE CUT
This is a charming small art nouveau wall mirror and 2 adjustable candle sconces. They are connected to the center of the frame with a bolt and ball nut that I do not feel are original although it has always been there for the 25 years that I have had the piece. It is all brass and has the face of a cherub at top center and on the back has a cast in loop to pass a wire through for hanging. The mirror is held in place by a metal strip screwed to the frame. The mirror is in perfect condition and measures 4" x 1 1/4" The complete length is 9 1/4" x 4 1/4" at widest part of frame. The sconces when fully extended are 8" and I will leave them that way for shipping. There are no identifying marks on it. I do not accept returns or give refunds. Nice Antique matching Floral Ivory colored ceiling fixture pr sconces Porclain
This is a very nice porcelain set with no chips or cracks. The pair of sconces have old sockets with new wires so they may or may not be ready to install that would be up to the building codes of were you live. They measure 6 7/8" inches tall. 4 1/2" wide, and 4 7/8" deep. The 2 bulb ceiling fixture is also in great condition it has old sockets and old wiring that may need to be replaced. The finial that is with this fixture is new I have added it to the set because it matched the fixture so well. It measures 11 3/4" long, 6" inches wide, and 2 3/4" deep. Antique Matched Pr 1930s Porcelain Sconces Silver Trim Fluted Milk Glass Shades
Up for your consideration is a very nice matched pair of 1930s porcelain sconces. They have a great unblemished silver trim. These sconces are almost perfect but as I tried to capture in the last two photos there is a small crack forming by the outlet on one sconcethat is the only blemish on them. The very nice fluted milk glass shades are in exellent condition with no cracks or chips. They will need a new socket and rewire. They measure 6" inches tall. 5" inches wide, and 5" inches deep. Antique chandelier sconces set of 5 mustard glass globes lighting
Antique chandelier light fixture sconces or globes set of 5 matching. They are mustard glass and are a pale antique yellow color. Made of fine thin glass they are all in good condition. One has a hairline crack in it and a pinhole. I took a few pictures of this. I do not think it would be noticeable when installed or if you just needed 4 of them. They are 1 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" across the open end and have a 2" base. Very nice and hard to find set. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge. Cleaned or inspected these items, and I don't know from which materials they are made of. These sconces are in used condition.
