Antique Matched pair Coach lights Carriage 21" Candle Wall Sconces Nickel Silver
Up for consideration is a very early pair of Stagecoach. Coach, Buggy, or horse drawn Wagon candle lights. They measure 22 inches in height by 5 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep. The pair date from the 1880's or earlier. The hinged doors are in good condition with no chip or cracks to the beveled glass. The interior looks to have been cleaned often of which the silver plating has worn revealing the copper base metal. In the photo there shows long strings that were used by the previous owner. On the back there are metal tab handles used to open and close the lights. They could be used to mount them. They probably had brackets which held the pieces. Antique bronze Dutch sconces 3 arm with Royal crown design 1920s Up for offer today a unique pair of Dutch sconces. These sconces date back to the mid 1920’s and are made out of solid bronze. Not copper. The only flaw I see on these sconces is a opening on top of one of the arms. This is not a broken part. This happened when these were made. As bronze is heated up to a melting temperature. In the mold these were made. There was just not enough bronze at that part. If these were made today, these sconces would end up in an outlet store. You can compare it like that. Once you hang these sconces, it’s for you to know. Can’t see it once these are hung. Height is 10” width is 12 ½” and depth is 10” These sconces have the European wiring and will need to be rewired to work in the USA. These also have the old wood sockets. Stunning Pair of Antique Floral Brass or Bronze Wall Shelves/ Sconces

As one can clearly see they are beautifully crafted in a floral. Stem and leaf design. Although not an expert, I believe thay are painted in their goldish copper color and since there are a few areas where the paint has worn off, the metal below appears to be bronze. They not marked though I believe these may date to some time mid 20th century. The two pieces are solid and heavy pieces weighing approximately 5 pounds three ounces each. There is a little play when prompted between the top shelf and the lower floral area which is only mentioned for accuracy as they are held together by two screws. As aforementioned there is some wear along with some areas where the paint has worn off though not easily or initially ... moredetectable. These detailed descriptions certainly do ot detract from the general aesthetics or functionality of the set and are only mentioned for accuracy. One may say they have weathered the years extremely well and are in very good condition for their age. These treasures measure approximately 13 to 13 1/8 inches longest point top to bottom( not counting the two extended areas where the screws go in to mount the piece) x 6 1/4 inches across x 5 1/8 inches front to back if looking at them from the front. This is a very solid heavy pieces weighing approximately 10 pounds 6 ounces together so shipping will most likely be higher than normal. Looks like these were made out of an hub of a wagon wheel. Obviously these were electrified later in their long live. Not sure how old the green finish is. But as it looks very old. As you can see in the pictures, these can be used as a pair of sconces, or if you desire to do so, put next to each other with the backs, it can be used as a table lamp. FATIGUED FRENCH FINDS fatiguedfrenchfinds This is a fabulous pair of antique French gilt bronze 3 branch candle sconces. The combined pair weigh 2.540kgs or 5lbs 9ozs. They had previously been converted to electricity but the wiring was old and dangerous and I removed it and reverted them back to their original form. There are small holes drilled into the base of the candle holders and the top of the candle holders have been threaded to take a fixing but this does not spoil the look of the sconces. Please study the photographs. The back plates are 29cms or just over 11¼” The spread on the arms equals 23.5cms or 9¼” Some of the gilding has rubbed back with time. Antique hanging light chandelier fixture brass 2 socket with sconces Perkins
Antique brass hanging light fixture. It has 2 sockets and white milk glass sconces. It comes with 3 sconces. It hangs down 39" and is about 22" across. The sconces are 5" long. 4 1/2" across the open end and have a 2" fitter. The glass has no cracks and no chips other than some small chiggers on the rim. The fixture has the base mount and one side has a pull chain and the other side has a turn type switch. The turn switch has Perkins on it. Has nice patina and I did not clean it very well to preserve the original look. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge. And lovely filigree brass bands at top. Gorgeous! Under each shade is a single glass sphere. I love it! On the chandeliers. The upper stems have a thick glass donut, and above that is a stunning brass flourish. Yum! Weaving up through the original chains is new cloth-covered wiring. Nice. The canopies(the cup against the ceiling) are also original. They are very simple. But the shape is a perfect complement to the fixtures(the eye should notice the chandelier and not the canopy) The sconces retain their original mounting buttons, too. Awesome salvage find! Up for your consideration is a pair of stunning copper Art Deco outdoor sconces/lanterns. These were recovered from the entryway of an elementary school built in the mid-1920s. They have a beautiful patina amazing detail. The 16 original bolts are included. The lanterns feature a gorgeous tiered top. Lots of clean lines and geometric shapes. There is a classic Art Deco design along the top trim and a grated relief on the bottom. They finish off with a stunning octagon bottom with octagon panel. Each piece measures approximately 42 inches from top to bottom. Approximately 13 1/2 inches wide/deep and their profile would be around 22 inches from the mounting surface. There are some spots where it looks like a silicone caulk was used. My best guess is the top of the copper bolt sheared off and rather then try to remove it they just sealed it. These are all on the top and would not be seen once mounted. Please note I do not in anyway claim or imply that I am an expert. I am just a lover of vintage. Pair 1880's Antique French Louis XV Rococo Style Bronze Wall Candelabra Sconces
Up for auction is a Gorgeous Pair of 1880's Ornately Detailed French Style Heavy Bronze Guilted Wall Candle Sconces. Very Ornate with Scrolling Leaf Designs and Turning Swirls. Both with 5 candle holding arms. Very attractive pair of early Wall Sconces or Candelabras. No markings found. One sconce still has the gold gilt leaf on the wall mount and on the scalloped candle arms holder. The other one is still showing mostly silver paint which has been on for a long time and has the Gold Gilt Leaf showing through the silver paint. No damage or repairs on either one. I believe they could be solid bronze but can't guarantee it. There are two top candle drip pieces that screw off and were stripped years ago showing the old solid bronze metal(Pic. 5- 8) It also shows through in different areas on both sconces. All 10 top 2 piece drip plates ... moreunscrew off for easy cleaning. These were bought out of an old Hotel which was being torn down. The two Candelabras were mounted on the sides of an old Marble Top Fire Place Mantel. They are complete and ready for mounting. One has the two original wall mounting brackets and the other one has only the one(Pic. 11& 12) These will be beautiful if refinished. They are also beautiful in the condition they are presently in. Entirely up to the buyer. This is a very useful set and would look lovely in a restored Victorian Home. Please see all pictures and ask any questions. Be sure to use close up. This pair of brass wall sconces measure 13 1/2" in diameter and date from the mid-late 18th century(c.1750-1800) Each is hand chased by an artisan and one has a lion and Coat of Arms and the other shows someone of aristocratic society(possibly who this exceptional pair of sconces were made for) The candlesticks are removable and show a dolphin head just below drip pans and they show period construction with hand hammered copper rivets. This is an exquisite antique pair of solid bronze wall mount candle holder Victorian sconces. they have a wonderful patina and have a nice gilded and painted finish. they are very heavy and thick bronze with an abundance of ornate floral detailing throughout. each has two arms holding a candle each with a floral shaped holder. they can be wired if desired and turned into electric light sconces. both in nice shape and each measures 9 1/2 inches up and down by 8 1/2 inches wide and sit 5 inches from the wall.
