Fabulous Pair Antique NeoClassical Edwardian Bronze Two-Arm Wall Sconces
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible. Here is an elegant pair of wall sconces each having two-arms and having been electified. They each measures 10 inches tall by 5-1/2 inches wide. And extend out from the wall approximately 6 inches. The electic candle sleeves are soiled and broken, and the wiring is old. The bronze placques are in excellent condition with urn finials, and twisted collumns capped with urns. Each bobeche is crafted into a four petaled flower. I could not find a maker's mark or other identifying characteristic. I am not sure if these are period sconces that were electrified, or if they were made in the 1920-30s era in the style of. A lovely antique Grand-scale. Monumental size, original Porcelain Italian Capodimonte 3 piece set includes a Dramatic Chandelier with the two matching sconces. These are made in Italy, entirely by hand, and are very old. This is an extremely beautiful set and is quite"over-the-top" in true Italian taste& fashion! I'm showing pictures of all the exquisite details, which also include pictures of any defects such as a few cracks here& there, minor loss to petals, two missing arms on the chandelier. However, the arms will allow for adjustment, so once installed, the two missing arms on the chandelier can most likely be concealed by spacing all the other arms accordingly, so the two missing arms are not noticeable. Or, if you don't need both of the sconces, you can use the arms from one sconce to fill in the two on the ... morechandelier. This was one of the largest and most successful lighting companies in the U.S. One of these sconces has the original sticker; the sconces are in excellent all-original condition including the bronze gold color finish. These are historic fixtures because the Virden Company re-tooled its manufacturing during WWII for war production; the sconces represent a link to an important era in U.S. history, particularly with regard to womens history. For your consideration is a pair of antique wall lamps made from the assemblage of vintage components. The antique brass wall arms were originally used as bed curtain hanger brackets. The brackets lock in place straight out from the wall 90 degrees or can be pivoted from side to side. The wall bases are 2" x 21 1/2" and overall measure 27 1/2" deep(including the shade) The lamp shades measures 8" in diameter and are not perfect but they come close. very small chips on the outer lip of one and some light paint speckles. Offered is a Matching Pair of Vintage Mid Century Era Wall Sconce Light Fixtures. Each sconce measures approx. 13 1/2" tall(with the glass shade in place) And extends 6 1/2" outward from the wall when hung. They are in good vintage condition. There are a few minor surface scuffs on the glass shades and natural patina on the metal. Consistent with age. The wiring appears in very good condition. One Pair of antique double arm wall sconces by Moe Bridges Co. Circa 1920's. Each fixture is quite ornate with fleur de lis. Birds, and lions with a shield between them. Extensive curls and scrolls throughout. Measurements: 8 and 7/8" tall, 8.5" wide and 4" deep. Markings on Back Side: Moe-Bridges Co. Milwaukee, Wis. Numbers: 2" and 32176. Both fixtures are in Excellent Condition. The Cardboard Candle Tubes do show wear around edges. Both have on/off knobs on the backplate.
