It is a shadow box type with a pieta sculpture inside and a picture of the last supper on the bottom door. You can keep candles incense or whatever artifacts you may have behind the door. Pair of Antique Bronze Mirror Sconces with Fish Decoration: this charming set of bronze mirror sconces will do very well on either side of a fire place or mantle. Each has a solid brass backing. Making it a very stable set. The candle holders are on small curved arms, the sides and bottom are reticulated with floral motifs and the tops have a central cartouche with koi fish on either side. Antique colonial revival wall sconces silver gilt set of four matching
This wonderful set of sconces adorned the dining room of a magnificent Federal style colonial home. The house was built in the early 1920's. They were in use until last month when the house was sold and torn down. These measure 10 1/2" tall. The circular plate measures about 4 1/8" in diameter. They project about 6" from the wall when installed. The fine silver finish has developed a lovely worn surface over the years. They could be polished or replated if desired. I would leave them just as is. They should be checked by a qualified person prior to installation. Wonderful elegant sconces. Thanks for looking.

A pair of fantastic antique Quezal matching lamp shades on an unmarked double headed desk lamp. The colors are whites. Yellow, orangey, amber tones adorned with green and yellow hearts. They have an overlay of golden iridescent colored threading that weaves a free form vein pattern throughout. The edges are scalloped. Typical of the interior of a Quezal, these are brilliant gold. When lit up they reveal an intense lovely shade of orange& yellows and gold. Both shades are in excellent condition with no problems: no chips, repairs or cracks. Two tole painted sconces. The oval portions measure about 9.75" x 6.75" Inside diameters of the candle holders measure about 1" Colors are black and gold. Condition is as seen in photos. Scratches. These are 2 candle holders that are old. These were in my grandmothers house. Which we are now cleaning out. These are old- been there forever- when I was a kid.now 41. I'm not sure what they made of. The markings on the bottom lead me to believe they are from 1758.really old. The JB is maybe the metal smiths initials who made these. They are 6 inches tall and have a 3 inch wide base at widest part. I'm not sure of origin. Nor of who made them, now how old- but they are candle holders. Up for auction is this pair of antique wall sconces. These lights were removed from a house that was built in 1968 in a wealthy neighborhood of Longmeadow. MA. I know nothing about antiques. Both need a good cleaning. They appear to have a few pieces missing or damaged, but mostly in tact. Each measures approx. 18" tall and 17" wide. What is pictured is what you get. If you need any additional pictures I can do so on request. If you want to pick up it will/can be intact. If I need to ship it I will have to take a lot of it apart to package for safe shipping. Pair of Magnificent Antique Three Arm Sconces, Brass and Bronze, NSP782
Large pair of antique Gothic Revival three-arm sconces. Dating from the late 19th century and salvaged out of Philadelphia. Each cast wall lamp features its original brass and bronze finish and a pierced body of two angled panels, each with bronze cut-outs of trefoils, diamonds, and flowers. Three U-shaped sconce arms extend from the base of each sconce, supporting leafy bobeches that wrap around the candles. Each sconce finishes in an orb finial that extends below the below. These sconces are in very good antique condition; there is a slight crack to one of the lower finials as shown. I thought for sure they were steel or cast iron however they are not magnetic so some sort of metal material with a heavy burnished bronze plating. There are some small/normal for age oxidation specks and some minor plating loss along the back edges but over all very nice condition. Amazing old set of cast iron wall scounces. On the back it reads Clipper Tool Company Buffalo New York. They work but have old wiring so I would have them rewired or have a electrican check them to make sure they are safe. They measure approx. 15 inches tall for the entire piece from the bottom of the metal body to the top of the glass chimmney. The main body measures 8.5 inches by 4 inches and comes off of the wall approx. 6 inches. The glass chimmneys measures approx. 8.5 inches tall. Thanks for looking. Available here is a set of 3 antique sconces. These sconces feature wonderful slip shades that are reminiscent of the prairie school of design. They are an opaque glass with orange accent lines. The shades are in good condition. No chips or cracks. The metal fixtures are cast aluminum. The sockets and rotary switches have been replaced. There are no issues with the fixtures. They are both tagged and marked, but I have not seen the mark before, it looks like it may be a M and V intertwined. I saw an exact matching pair described as having a B&H or Bradley and Hubbard tag soldered on to their back, but there should be no doubt that these are high quality pieces. As you can see these will need a lot of work as they show quite a bit of wear and some of that green corrosion, and they will also need rewiring, so be prepared that these are a project. I have 6 sconces; 4 work independently with a push button. And 2 operate together with a wall switch. These sconces are being sold separately. The bulbs currently in the sconces are 40Watt candelabra based bulbs. These were made before 1950. The materials are Crystal/Glass Lamp Shade; Base Holder has Pewter Finish. The Shades have an interesting contrasting overlaid crystal styled embossing with frosted glass elements. These very unique lighting fixtures stand approximately 14" high from top of shade to tip of bottom. And stands 7 1/2" out from the wall. The shade is 5 1/2" at it's widest middle section.
