The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. Here is an authentic antique light fixture. It has unbelievable appeal. Unique style, and would complete a restoration project. Fixture measures 14" in length and roughly 9 1/2" in width. It has a clever design. In that one panel of the metal orb lifts up on a hinge, for easy bulb replacement. The surface is primitive looking now. But could be restored. I assume that the"metal" is steel. But maybe cast iron. It's hard for me to tell. I cannot find a maker's mark. Right now the fixture has a couple of chain links attached to top, that's it. Beautiful Antique Frosted Glass Shade Ceiling Light Fixture Porcelain Canopy
Beautiful antique glass shade ceiling light fixture. This light comes with the mounting hardware and is ready for use. The light has a wonderful glow with the frosted shade and clear glass accents. It really lights up a large room and gives it a warm inviting feeling. The pressed shade has a wonderful raised clear leaf and flower detail with clear glass scalloped and spider webbed center. A heavy brass pineapple finial finishes off the bottom of the shade. The porcelain fitter is by Porcelier and like the shade in excellent condition. The fitter has leaf design along the rim. Mercury Glass Light Fixture Description A vintage light fixture made of a gold tone metal(likely brass) with blue mercury glass shade. The shade measures approximately 5" in diameter. The mounting base measures approximately 4-1/2" in diameter. The fixture will stand out approximately 8" from the wall. The metal part of the fixture has a few small dents along the base rim and a few minor dings elsewhere. Antique Brass Pulldown Light Fixture W/ Cranberry Shade
Excellent condition. 13" high x 8" across. 3 1/2lbs. Electrical wires go straight up through the ceiling cap into ceiling electric box from the light bulb socket. Changing the light bulb is done by pulling the bottom brass cap down. Via the pully chains exposing the socket for easy bulb changing. This is a rare and unique wall mounted light fixture. All hardware is included. The light hangs from a metal(cast iron? rod. And can swivel back and forth. The wiring. In my uneducated opinion, will need to be, at the minimum, repaired, and possibly replaced. Where the metal rod comes down, there is exposed cloth wiring about 4 inches in length where there should not be any. The total drop length of the light is 25" The wiring is of the cloth type and in places is very frayed. There is a clear glass hurricane surrounding the light bulb. Outside the hurricane, the lampshade is made of hobnail milk glass. This would be an exceptional piece and is well worth any repair that needs to be made. This antique wall light is made of cast iron and has a white and gold round glass globe- it is in very good condition. There are some white paint specs on both the base and globe. The globe has a pretty gold floral design around it. This fixture is a flush mount but the globe sits at an angle- it could either have an upward or downward tilt. The light fixture measures approximately 10" long X 5 1/2" wide X 8" deep. The globe is 5 1/2" in diameter. There are 2 holes on top and bottom of the fixture to mount to the wall. Here's a really nice and pretty brass ceiling fixture with glass acorn shaped shade. Diameter of the light fixture next to the ceiling is not quite 6 1/2" Combined height of the fixture and shade is 12" Some paint and patina on the light fixture. I can only get one of the 3 screws to turn. Glass light shade is quite detailed with flowers and leaves around the middle. Does have a few paint specks and other specks. No chips or cracks.
