Very Old Chrome Ceiling Light Fixture. Vintage - Antique!
This old fixture measures app. 12" long and 8.25" wide. There is no shade or globe. Just the fixture. I believe it is made of chrome and needs to be refinished. The chrome is pretty corroded. The part where the globe would fit on swivels. This is really old so it obviously needs to be rewired as the wires are fabric covered. Original gas light fixture- the long arm with awesome gooseneck shape measures 46" long overall- lamp base is up to 4 1/2" in diameter and features green porcelain enameled bell shaped top- original pull chain in tact with its spring mechanism in working order- original spring mechanism to hold shade in place is also in tact. I don't have a shade. Some minor surface patina/rust on some parts. Some parts are metal, some brass- magnet doesn't stick to some pieces. Wall finial in tact, has some dings. You are looking at an antique Art Deco 5 Light Slip Shade Chandelier. This fixture has been completely restored and is in very good condition. The fixture is aluminum and brass with yellow amber glass decorative pieces in the column. The fixture has been refinished in a hammered gold and antique gold. The 5 shades are a clear and frosted/ etched glass with a leaf design and in great condition. The light has new sockets and wiring. gold cloth wiring from the fixture to the ceiling. I do not know the maker of this fixture or the date but it is from the Art Deco period. It has four separate pieces of glass. Two are a white and red colored slag glass. One is a red piece of stained glass, and the fourth piece is a red and yellow piece of leaded stained glass. There is a hanging brass and tear drop crystal accent pendant piece that hangs in the top center of the light(it is missing one of the five tear drop crystals, but are easy to find and replace) The light itself is brass and has unique edging on the top and bottom. Antique vtg retro prism chandelier light fixture late 50's or 60's WOW
Awesome late 50's or 60's chandelier. Currently working but the wiring is old and cloth. I will rewire the light if requested free of charge(it's super easy to do but only after the prisms have been removed which I will do for shipping) 24" long and 14" wide. There are FOUR rings of prisms on the bottom AND a ball prism. There are a few wire pins that are clearly replacements but you'd be hard pressed to ever find them obviously. Estate Find: A wonderful period Ceiling mount light fixture with ribbed. Ruffled edge, glass shade. Base is painted in a cream color and has accents of green and pink in sculpted design which is similar to Fan and Feather. Glass shade is ribbed on the outside and has a soft iridescent gold tint. Ceramic Leviton fixture has original cloth wrapped wiring still attached. Some light paint chipping around screw holes and some around shade mount collar and thumb screws. 1940s VINTAGE / ANTIQUE Ceiling LIGHT FIXTURE White MILK GLASS Decorative BALL
I found this Antique Ceiling Light Fixture while rummaging in my mother’s basement. She told me that when they bought their house in 1958. They removed this fixture from the front foyer. Since their house was built in the 1930s, we are guessing that this fixture dates back to at least the 1940s. This ceiling light fixture is a white milk glass ball designed with a surface of raised circles. These circles are largest around the widest part of the ball. Then gradually decrease in size as they get to the top and bottom ends. There is a decorative brass( finial at the bottom of the ball. This glass ball fits into the metal electrical base of the fixture, held in place with 3 screws; the exterior of the base was painted a long time ago. With the base this ceiling fixture measures approximately 10” long x 22.5” around. The glass ball itself is ... moreabout 6.5” across its widest point and sits about 7.5” top to bottom. Including its finial. The milk glass ball and finial are in great condition(having been in storage for the past 55 years) there is a small chip along the glass edge that fits inside the base. Antique Polychrome 5 Light Ceiling Fixture, B800, Electric
You are bidding on a great old ceiling fixture. This is a 5 light electric fixture that is a chandelier type unit. The wiring that is in it is the old cloth covered type so I'm thinking 30's-40's for a time frame. The only marking I can find on the back is B800. No brand name or anything else. Because of the weight I believe it is cast brass. It has what I call a polychrome finish on the front. It is 17" across and 24" tall. It takes the standard size light bulb bases. The fob hanging at the bottom is in need of re-coating. Otherwise the finish is in very good condition. The wiring is cloth covered and has breaks in several places it would be wise to rewire. Lovely antique Bohemian light fixture with large prisms that end in a faceted ball. Prisms are triangular shaped with a cut scalloped zippered pattern down the front edge. Each prism measures almost 6" in length. The light itself is white case glass cut to red and lavishly hand painted with gold accents. The bottom finial is cut to red and 6 sided with more gold. I could not get a good picture of the lit up red areas but fixture is in perfect working order. Fixture holds 3 candle looking lights. The edges of the celing plate. Shade and bottom are scalloped.
