But the cups where the bulbs go in are a lighter metal and are have varying degrees of rust. The column is also brass. Quite tarnished and seems to have some corrosion or pitting in spots. The fixture is missing the screws that connect the column to the 5 arm base. The chain is rusty as is the ceiling cover plate. It is wired with fabric covered wiring. All light sockets intact and has a plug at the end, Not sure if there are any breaks in wiring, would suggest total rewiring. The column is 10 1/2" long. The arm base is 15" diameter. The whole lamp. Not including the chain and ceiling cover is apx. 13" long. Selling in As IS condition. NOT an expert on these old lamps. So please forgive me if I have used incorrect terminology. This was found in an old barn. Estate sales at farms are my favorite, hands down. So many out-buildings that nothing ever gets thrown away. I have a set of the custard glass slip shades listed for sale and another set that I will list in the future. I had two of these lamps, but have sold the other one already. WELCOME! You are bidding on an antique leaded stain and slag glass ceiling fixture light. I am not sure what the style is but it reminds me of a mix between parlor and gothic. The glass is beautiful with the carmel marbled slag glass pieces and small rectangular stain glass panels all the way around alternating blue and red. It will need rewired because it still has the original cloth wiring coming out the top. The porcelain socket is in great condition. And it does come with the metal ceiling plate which I think is brass. This light has been sitting in storage for quit a while. I did not realize it's beauty until I took a couple of layers of dirt off. It can still use another layer to come off so it will need a good cleaning. No chips or cracks. This is an exquisite antique pair of solid bronze wall mount candle holder Victorian sconces. they have a wonderful patina and have a nice gilded and painted finish. they are very heavy and thick bronze with an abundance of ornate floral detailing throughout. each has two arms holding a candle each with a floral shaped holder. they can be wired if desired and turned into electric light sconces. both in nice shape and each measures 9 1/2 inches up and down by 8 1/2 inches wide and sit 5 inches from the wall. There is a single Bryant socket inside that illuminates it. The glass shade is grooved in design and it graduates from the top to the bottom. It is very heavy. The large 14.5" thick art glass shade is fired in a pale beige/cream color, and has a large clear glass open bottom, designed to disperse the light down. It has an incredible center glass cone that fits over the large cone shaped aluminum fixture. The shade hangs from 3 rods attached to the fixture. The aluminum fixture has been stripped& refinished to match the original color. It houses the original porcelain socket. Completely rewired to accept a 150 watt long-neck standard base bulb and provides a considerable amount of light. All photos were taken with 150 watt bulb. There is a small crack at the side of where the metal brace sticks out along the top edge, and the paint on the cherries and leaves is a bit worn, but otherwise its in good working condition and its just too cute. This antique(probably 1930's era) ceiling light fixture is made of metal. Possibly copper or a copper wash over base metal for the circular portion. The arms and bulb housings appear to be cast and are probably base metal. The circular center cap was probably flush mounted to a ceiling(mounting screws or connectors are NOT present) Four hanging electrical housings with individual old plastic turn knobs on each hang decorative cast arms. The on/off knobs are black and are marked"Weber" There are no other manufacturer markings on the piece. The center round cap is about 11.75" in diameter. Excluding the arms. Diameter from the outer edge of arm to outer edge of opposite arm is about 16" The very old bits of wiring still present are obviously not usable. CONDITION USED- ANTIQUE/VINTAGE WITH WEAR/DAMAGE Nice old metal ... moreceiling fixture in"as found" condition. Including grime(it has been surface cleaned, but still needs more! This is an old 3 chain hanging glass light globe. The glass is a little over 10" diameter. Each chain is about 5.5" long. There is no cracks or chips in the glass. Antique Ceramic Bathroom Pull String Light Fixture 2 Bulbs Flower Wall Sconce
Up For Auction! This is a really great vintage Ceramic Floral light fixture for a bathroom or vanity. I t has 2 light bulb fixtures and operates with the use of a pull string. It has all original wiring so it will likely need to be rewired before installation. It also has the original brass hardware. It is made out of ceramic and has a great hand painted raised floral pattern. The light is in EXCELLENT Vintage condition. There are no major chips or cracks. It doesn't have any major crazing. There is some light paint residue around the edges where meets the wall. It is very minor and could likely be removed. In general this is a really nice light fixture and is great condition for its age. It has a great art deco early century look. The shades measure 4-5/8" high. 4" across the bottom and have a 2-1/4" fitter edge. They are in good used condition. This auction is for an antique white glass light shade. Item has a bright white lacquered outside. Shade measures 10" in diameter and 4" tall. Item has a flea bite near the center cut hole that would be covered by a nut or bolster when mounted. Inside rim has 2 bites. This is fully functional shade that diffuses light great. No cracks. Antique Globe from an Old Exterior Sconce Light Fixture
DESCRIPTION: This is an antique globe for an old exterior sconce light fixture. I removed it from my old victorian era house 10 years ago and it has been in the garage since that time. It was mounted on an old exterior sconce. I cleaned up the globe and it looks in good shape considering how old it is. Has a very nice molded star in the clear glass light magnifier.
