Neck is solid glass with a small rolled lip From the round neck are spiring columns to the top of the rosette designs devided them with a outward puffed circle of glass. The glass is thick. The puffed areas are actully indented on the inside. I do not see any cracks or chips on this item. Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Offered here is a ANTIQUE Hanging Lamp Wrought Iron w/ Blue& Green Stained River Slag Glass Light fixture. Said to be more than 40 years old! This GORGEOUS LAMP was tested and does work as shown in the pictures. It takes one regular size light bulb(as found and shown w/ 200 watt bulb- Bulb will be included but it used and cannot guarantee it will not break in shipping. The blue and green river glass panels are all in tact. One or two might have a tiny chip on corner edge but glass panes are not cracked. The black wrought iron has some nicks from age and use. Along with peeling of brushed black and gold finish with minor scuffs and scratches- and rust as shown in the posted photos. This piece does need cleaning! The chain also has rust and is long. Antique Revere Industrial Porcelain Enamel Barn Gas Station Light Fixture
This is an extremely rare Revere Electric Mfg. Co. light. This is a very unique light. I cannot find another like it anywhere online. The light is connected to a post and extension arm which pivots in the middle. The end of the arm has a ball joint which allows the light shade to be rotated and moved up and down. It is amazing how adjustable and well made this piece is. The shade is porcelain and it does have some chips in it. The shade's shape it very unique as well. It is curved into an oval shape. There is also a bullet hole in the shade which just gives it some character in my opinion. The shade is green on the outside and white on the underside. This is all shown in the pictures. These are part of the description. As can be seen this can use a good polishing if desired. The light canopies do have cracks but are still able to hold the glass shades. It is covered with green verdigris except for the bottom edge which has been painted white. There is just a tiny bit of surface rust. There is a porcelain bulb receptacle and the lens/shade is beautiful and made of thick ridged glass. For sale is an antique oil/electric lamp fixture. It has a fitting that simply needs to be inserted for electrification. This is a ceiling mount fixture and hangs approximately 3 feet from top to bottom. Although the glass globe is no longer with us. You should be able to find one at a local antique or lighting stores. The measurements of the fitting are 10" at the edge of the inner rim to 11" at the outer lip. The oil lamp burner is marked 15" Matador Brenner and is in really good condition with the wick extender working perfectly. A great old fixture that just needs a vintage home. HERE WE HAVE AN ANTIQUE/ VICTORIAN ERA PORCELAIN AND STEEL GAS FIXTURE FROM THE LATE 1800'S. THE FIXTURE HAS A BEAUTIFUL CHARTREUSE GREEN COLOR PORCELAIN BELL SHAPE TOP AND WHITE PORCELAIN AT THE BOTTOM. THE METAL IS BRASS PLATED STEEL. IT HAS BRONZE AND CAST IRON FITTINGS. AT THE BOTTOM IT HAS 3 GAS SOCKETS. TWO OF THE SCREW-IN TIPS ARE MISSING. THE ONE THAT IS THERE HAS A SCREEN INSIDE AND HALF OT THE VERY TOP THREAD IS BROKE OFF. THERE IS NO GLASS SHADE JUST THE FIXTURE. THIS LIGHT IS STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL STATE AND HAS NOT BEEN ELECTRIFIED. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL PULL CHAIN WITH RING. Antique brass swing arm gas wall fixture, light complete with etched glass shade
This is a brass wall fixture with a swing-out arm. The lamp or light has the original etched glass shade with designs of spiders. Palm fronds and cameos or ladies profiles. The light is complete, with the mounting bracket, the valve(turns) and the switch with brass ball chain and acorn shaped knob. Fully extended, the lamp reaches out 24 inches from the wall. The inner arm is 11 inches long, and the outer arm is 9 1/2 inches. The bracket for the shade measures 4 inches across. The beautifully etched shade is 4 1/4 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches across. Both burners look to be in good condition with one still having the wick. There is rust, here and there, on this light and the nickel plating is pealing off the top of the insert(see ... morephoto) I see only one small dent on the top of the insert. Description: This Art Deco custard glass shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Only one available. The shade was used on chandeliers and wall sconces. The actual width is 6-3/8 inches across the top rim. It is 3 inches tall. The mounting notch is about 13/16" wide right at the rim. There are a couple of tiny dark spots which are contained within the glass. And a slight blackish line, which can be seen in a couple of photos, that are impurities and a result of the manufacturing. Heavy cardboard candle covers over the sockets. Retain original finish, they have been rewired with new sockets, the original switches are still on the lights but are not hooked up. If you wished to use the switches again they should be tested, and probably new switches installed. There are small bits of metal cut on the sides of each fixture, probably for wiring, this isn't readily noticeable and over all these are really cool. Fixture hangs down about 14" from top to bottom of hanging lights. There were 4 more lights that hung down the center of this at one time. Main body. Top of canopy and the chains are cast iron( brass plated) the rest is brass. The 4 shade holders are for a 3 1/4" shade. There is the old wiring but it is shot. This is a heavy piece. Please see pictures. All of the lamp parts. That we have, are as found. No attempt has been made to clean or or polish them. They come with the tarnish, any grime and paint that we couldn't just brush off. Antique Leaded Stained Glass Light Fixture - Repair needed on copper - Parts
Here is an antique leaded stained glass light fixture. I bought this about 8 years ago on Ebay from Australia and never used it. All stained glass is in great condition- no broken panels. The glass panels are set in copper panels. It looks like the corners have been soldered. The glass panel came out of the front hinged door panel. The corner needs to be re-soldered. I'm assuming there are more parts to this fixture- I'm not an expert so look closely at pictures. It stands at 13 1/4" tall and is 6 1/2" wide. Please email with any questions.
