SET OF ANTIQUE DOORS WITH SLAG GLASS PANELS
I have for sale a beautiful set of antique solid oak doors with slag glass panels. They look like they were used as front entrance doors at one time as the left one has the door stop strip on it. Both still have the original hinges and the right one has the original knob plates(but not the door knobs) The slag glass is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. The glass for the most part is variations of green with some amber. Gray and white. The wood around the edges does have some issues where the wood has peeled off on some of the corners but could easily be filled in with wood filler and stained. All the wood pieces that hold in the glass are intact and in good condition. The right door measures 29 3/4" wide x 7 feet tall and the left door measures 30 1/2" wide(including door stop) x 7 feet tall. These are truly a pair ... moreof magnificent looking doors! The drawers and doors are nicely carved. This piece is extremely heavy. It has a solid thick marble top. Each glass cabinet on the top of this buffet/sideboard locks. One of the locks on the bottom door does stick a little, but the key does open and lock it. Remember this is an old antique piece of furniture. It has a burl walnut veneered top with drawer having molding and a carved grapes pull. Below are arched glass doors with locks and a key that operates both locks. At the case corners it has carvings and the case sits on a nicely molded base. There are six adjustable shelves inside with extra supports. The fronts are very ornate with fluted pilasters beside the glass. There are shelves above and a shelf with beadwork below. The transom has a semi arched top and 26 jewels. The original finish I would say is a pretty good match to Minwax Early American Stain which is available in stores everywhere if you are trying to match things. There was a round lock of sorts that is not there and a narrow strip on one door in front to give a finished look to the doors when they were closed. Which is not difficult to replace. There's a few nicks on the edges of the backs of the doors that really do not show from the front of the doors. Antique 19th Century Valuables Chest From the estate of a Vermont antique collector. This is a lovely little miniature chest. The wood is Elm and it has a dark finish. There are two doors on the front that have a lock- I do not have the key. Inside are three drawers with nice brass colored drawer pulls that fold flat into the drawer. The drawers have tiny hand cut dovetails front and back. Beveled edge on the top and the chest sits on a beveled edge base. Original finish. Two Antique Japanese Shutters/ Panels These shutters were part of some local Austin Estate items. Dark wood with some carved details and painted panels in the center. The lower panels have also have some drawings. A dragon on one and a horse on the other Each panel measures 39" tall x 13-3/4" wide x 1" thick Condition: These are very old. But very stable. Not wobbly or falling apart. They do have quite a bit of patina from age. There are signs of normal use and wear. They each have wooden pegs at the top and bottom that were probably what held them in place and allowed them to be opened or move. These pegs could easly be removed if you did not want them They each have a painting in the center panel The paintings each depict a woman and small child. They are outdoor scenes with foliage and one has a umbrella or canopy over her ... morehead. The center panel painting have some scratches. The panel on the left has only a very few scratches. The panel on the right(see closeup pictures) has more scratches. I don't know if the scratches were from normal use or if someone. Maybe a child scratched them. The scratches are just on the surface, they are not deep. The paintings are kind of muted so from a distance the scratches are not a big problem. I think it would be simple to touch them up, but I will leave that for the buyer to decide. Or, if you like the center panels could be removed by pulling a few nails and replaced with another image. I really like them as they are. Each of the panels has an old white sticker on the backside with a number. Antique Leaded windows/cabinet doors brass rings & hinges 1800's?
2 antique windows/ cabinet doors.These were taken out of the attic area of an old house that a relative razed years ago. We have had them in our possession for about 30 years. They were in the same area of the house but we do not know if they were side by side or separate in the room. We are selling them as a pair. They look like glass but I do not know that for sure. They look leaded but again. I have no way of knowing.is there a way to check) The frames are in good condition and are put together dove tail style. The wood looks like oak. Notice both window side by side, there is a bit of difference in the pattern but you have to look close to see it. One side of the frame appears to be darker than the other side. They just look like natural wood and never painted. The pull rings look like brass and the hinges are original too. They need ... morecleaned because they have been stored a very long time and some of the leaded areas may need attention, just look at all the pics very good and message us for any questions you may have. RARE FIND! ANTIQUE TELLER DOORS. PAIR OF TWO(2) I believe these are walnut but not sure. They do need to be refinished. They both have the iron bar& ball windows that swing open only. They are 7' 1/2" tall and 1' 61/4" wide. The bottom of one is ruff as I attempted to photo. They have 3 panels on each side and they are not beveled. There is a shelf on each one which is 1' 73/4" long and 7 1/4" deep. The iron bars are 2' 2 3/4" tall and 1' 3" across. There are 7 bars with iron balls on top. The unique& detailed stained glass design in each door is accented with glass textures that are both beautiful& decorative. The leading trim can be seen just inside the wood frame. Huge- the top measures 60 1/4" by 46" 2 sided- each side has a set of 4 drawers on one pedestal side and the other a door with 4 cubbyholes and ... more2 large vertical compartments. Condition: Very good. Complete condition in need of finish refinishing and with 3 draws in need of minor repairs. The paneled side pedestal are very good, no loose joints or other structural problems. In our opinion the pedestal and drawer fronts could be lightly sanded and then varnished to suit your tastes- glossy or satin or flat finish. The top and writing slide out boards would likely need to be stripped or sanded and likely stained before finishing. All in all, not a very big restoration process. The 4" drawers on the door side both need to be repaired. The one has a large ink stain in the bottom of the drawer. One of the 4" long drawers has a loose bottom panel. On the drawer pedestal sections three of the drawers measure 4" deep x 12 1/2" wide by a whopping 23" long! The larger drawer is 9 7/8" deep x 12 1/2" wide and is also 23" long! The door pedestal sections each contain a set of 4 cubbyholes which measure 4" wide by 4 1/2" high by 14" deep. The divided vertical file compartments measure 15 1/4" high by 3 3/4" wide by 14" deep. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of oak and one side is unpainted and the other is painted white. The double entrance doors have full length zinc cambed glass panels. All the glass is beveled all the way around. The matching transom is the same. The fronts of the doors have egg and dart molding framing the glass. Most of the hardware needs to be replaced. It measures 48 inches wide. The height is 81.5 at the doors and 16 at the transom. It is 1.75 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. The transom glass was painted on both sides. We have most of the paint taken off but it will need more detailing. One of the glass panels needs to be repaired. Penn Antique Restoration. 55"x 86" Antique Pair French Interior Doors w/20 Windows. Gorgeous. Antique, interior French doors, salvaged from a historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each door is made of solid white pine and has 10 windows. Unfortunately. 6 glass lites are broken, and only 14 out of the 20 glass lites are intact. We could either cut new pieces from our collection of old glass. Or we could order a new glass lites(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install them- email us for a quote. Keep in mind the doors were installed inside the house as interior doors. But they could still be used as entry doors. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However. There are breaks and chips in the astragal(divider strip or stop molding) the bottom rail is cracked; there is a deep scrape in the lock stile; and the molding is made out of putty and is chipped in several spots. On the interior side, the top of the lock stile is chipped. Otherwise. These doors are in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process, or disguised after a fresh coat of paint. Quirks& Considerations: The height of the doors was unevenly cut by 3/8" at some point. Most likely to accommodate for a warped floor or settling foundation-we could even the height. Antique Seven Panel Double Church Doors
Antique seven panel doors which I believe that they are cherry from a church in Pa. These are the original doors from 1907 and have the Bommer spring hinges. The hinges are like an animal trap they are so strong. One set has been removed from the door and one set is on the other door- you will get both sets. There is a few chips of wood off on the bottom of the one door nothing major. Measure 95-1/4" tall x width 31" EACH x depth 3/4" I have other items in my store from this church. These were the interior foyer doors. I will be acquiring all of the 12ft stained glass windows which are being removed in the total frames.PICKUP IS IN PERRYOPOLIS Pa 15473. The following are the sizes. 31 3/4" x 79" and 27 3/4" x 79 1/4" These appear to have one coat of varnish so they would be easily restorable or use them the way they are. They don't have any hardware but the cutouts for the hinges and locksets are there. They look to be birch wood. They are local pickup in central Wisconsin but I will hold them for as long as you like once they are paid for.

The base is 36" tall and the upper is 60" tall x 11 3/4" deep. This is a great looking cabinet with beautiful aged patina and finish. All components work as they should and this is a great looking. Wonderful piece! The interior is backed with original beadboard, original glass(one piece is missing) the original hardware is still intact and all doors and drawers operate properly. We are selling from our home a beautiful antique secretary desk. Probably from the 1930's, has Art Deco as well as other influences. Made of walnut and burled walnut veneer, the desk has 3 drawers in the lower section, the middle section is a drop front desk with pigeon holes and leather work space, the upper section has leaded glass doors and adjustable shelves. Measures 71- 1/4" tall(almost 6 feet) x 29- 1/2" wide; the lower section is 16" deep, the upper is 7- 3/4" deep. Condition is excellent as shown in the photos. Description This is a great set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Mansion. They are made of pine and are currently painted white. They have an arched top. The lower part of each door has a raised panel. The uppers have stained glass panels. They are very colorful and in great condition. Most of the hardware needs replacing. They measure 48.5 inches wide together by 88 inches tall at the center and 83.5 at the sides. They are 1.5 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. The upper part of one door has cracks where the mortise bolt is located. There are 5 or 6 small hairlines.
