Pocket doors salvaged from a historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each door has a solid cherry core with 1/4" oak veneers on one side and 1/4" cherry veneers on the other, has 3 panels(1 recessed& 2 raised) and 2 long etched glass lites. Unfortunately. One of the etched glass lites is broken. I do not think that it could be replaced, but we could order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled. Tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- email us for a quote. Hardware: The doors are currently not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store and tons more in our physical store. Antique Primitive Painted Oak PIE SAFE 4 doors 2 drawers Needs Work. I've used this old pie safe in my pantry for years. I believe it to date from about 1900. It stands 70 1/4 inches high. 37 3/4 inches across and 17 inches deep. It features 2 top doors with 2 shelves. 2 drawers, and 2 bottom doors with 2 shelves. Hardware is original. And you'll notice the lovely wood handles. It appears to be oak under many layers of chipped paint. The piece has so much character. And although it is a heavy, sturdy piece, it is a bit of a project. The corner of a door needs gluing. The grilling needs some tacks, and the bottom shelf needs a bracket. I like the paint the way it is, but it does need cleaning up. Refinishing is an option, also. You'll notice that the very top of the pie safe does not appear to be original. Antique China Cabinet Book Case Shelves 3 Glass Doors

Antique Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet Copper Counter Slag Glass Doors
Vintage Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet w/Copper& Slag Glass Doors This is a gorgeous old kitchen'Hoosier style' cupboard. It has the base. The hutch and a beautiful copper topped counter that does indeed pull out on the base. The top hutch has three doors on the top part with leaded Slag Glass in green and white milk-glass. These appear to have been added to the doors some time ago when this piece appears to have been refinished. The lower part of the upper hutch have two larger wooden doors. The outside of the right door appears to have sustained surface water damage to it some time ago. The bottom base part has one large latching door on the left side that reveals a metal lined storage bin with one wire rack making a shelf in it. The right side has three drawers where the twop two right side drawers are in wood and the ... morebottom right drawer is lined in tin/metal. The counter is simply beautiful. The counter was resurfaced in a solid sheet of copper sometime ago when the entire piece was lightly refinished. The copper counter has a nice protective coat of varnish or poly on it as does the entire piece. The sheen is in a nice soft gloss. Not a shreakingly heavy gloss that makes one put on sunglasses just to look at it. This piece is on metal casters with wood wheels and is easy to move if needed. The drawer pulls appear to be original to the piece. However some of the upper hardware appears to have either been moved during the restoration or have been replaced. All the hardware appears to be correct for the piece, I just can not swear it is all orginal to the piece. The family reports that they just remember this piece being as it has always been so the restoration work done on this piece was done at least more than 40-50 years ago. If I were to keep this for my very own. I would be proud to display it in my own kitchen and show it as my own. Take that for what it is worth. I will gladly entertain reasonable offers. Description This is an exceptional set of doors that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are made of pine with chippy paint. The glass is a clear with different textures and a great design. Each door has approx 142 jewels! They were originally standard double entrance doors. At some point the knobs were removed and holes were patched. The then installed double action hinges to swing back and forth. Push bars were added at the same time as those hinges. They each measure 27 inches wide by 89 tall and are almost 2 inches thick. Each glass panel is 16 inches wide by 76.5 tall. Overall they are in very good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There are a few tight hairlines here and there. They need hardware. Please look at the pictures carefully. TWO CAST IRON STOVE DOORS This is so cool! AND. THIS IS A PAIR or CAST IRON DOORS If you like"rusty gold" this piece is for you. It's an old door off an antique cast iron stove. What a great decor item inside or out if you're into steampunk or just good'ole salvage from yesteryear. The detail in the iron work is phenomenal I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I did not try to clean it up in any manner other than to wipe it off with a damp rag to remove the surface dust and dirt. Many will appreciate it as is. Some will want to see if they can remove some of the rust and get it a little cleaner. Please note there are also lighter and darker spots throughout and I'm not sure if these color variations can be remedied with a good cleaning or not. I call that character. ANTIQUE LARGE OAK BUFFET W. 5 GLASS DOORS AND BRASS FITTINGS
I am offering an antique(most probably late 1875-1900-ish) buffet-cupboard. You name it the way you want. It is 100% oak. Has five(5) diamond shaped clear glass doors with oak frame, brass hinges, working locks and knobs. Has 4 or 5 keys(will check and confirm) Each section is partitioned and has 3 oak adjustable shelves. I know it is built with square blacksmith nails as some of these are leftover from my reconstruction of the back of the buffet(see below) The top was probably covered with linoleum tiles that were removed. It has not been repaired. Except the back of the buffet made in tongue and grove oak planks had been dismantled. When I reassembled it. They did not fit exactly where they should have gone and over the lenght of the buffet. It ha s shrunk by about 3/4 of an inch to one inch(0n the right looking at the back) The leftmost ... moreglass door was professionally redone as it was warped so much I was afraid some of the glass parts would fall off. It was repaired by a stained-glass repair shop. With new piping, and some(2-3) parts replaced. Otherwise, it has been left as is. The other doors have been left as is, and should be reworked to fix the"waviness" in the glass panels. It is a large buffet. 108 inches(9ft) long, 60 inches(5ft) high and 24 inches(2ft) deep(approximative measures) It may weight around 175-200 pounds or more. This is a large. Heavy and bulky item. For sale we have a pair of Fabulous Antique Stained Glass Doors which were removed from a church in Philadelphia a long time ago. The doors are Circa 1880 and stand 88.25 inches tall. One door is 23.5" wide and the other is 24.75" wide with the closure overlap. Both doors contain identical stained glass panels which contain 89 jewels each. There are no cracks. My home has a 750 SF Bootleg Whiskey Cellar(complete with shelving) The bootleg whiskey shelves& wall brackets will remain for future storage. However. Due to a massive water loss on 12-23-2008, I had to remove the original 8' H Concrete Stem Wall which housed this pair of secret compartment doors. When I built back a new wall, I decided to enlarge the opening and install a normal door(see photo depiction) I had no intention of removing these doors because they played an important part of Oklahoma Prohibition Bootleg Whiskey History. The owners of this mansion ... morewere oil barrons. Real-estate magnates, and apparently not above making rapid profits through selling illegal whiskey. Original& secondary owners through elaborate& large parties& the basement served as a pool hall& speakeasy. I had these doors sandblasted& powder-coated in gold because gold was found throughout the mansion as a trim color. However, their original color was moss green. The hinges are ordinary strap hinges. If you are interested in installing these doors and staircase for it's original hiddenn purpose. You simply frame your opening and use a chisel to make room for the hinges as they will flush-mount to your wood(or weld on if you frame with steel) The stair hinges are also ordinary strap hinges but they have been custom bent to accomodate this purpose. It's a rather simple design and shows that"where there is a will, there is a way" How were the doors hidden? Quite simply. Because you don't see the stairs when the doors are closed. Antique Wooden Gingerbread Fretwork Standing Frame with Doors Damaged
I went to an estate sale. I saw this. Isn't it beautiful. The art and craftsmanship is wonderful. After I bought it. I realized it didn't have the right side. This is just too pretty. It measures 12" tall x 6 3/4" wide(counting the loss of side, and counting the flared bottom leg) The picture measurements are 5 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide inside opening. Let's start- the doors work. I love the tacks on each up/down wood line. The doors are held on with wooden circles and wooden dowels. The door on the right top has a crack probably from what made the side break off. There is a crack in the main frame on the bottom left door hinge. Main frame- small piece missing off- 1) bottom left under hinges at bottom 2) top left# mark 3) entire right side of course. Back has stand that has been re-aligned. It probably came ... moreoff and couldn't be put back in same holes. Bottom legs look like thin cracks in them. Old wood is brittle. If you put a picture in and leave the doors open, others may not notice the right loss. I didn't. It is so ornate that I fixed on the beauty of the tiny carving then on the loss. It is up to you. I want someone who loves it like I do. It is a piece of history now. Weighs 6 oz. total. I still would have to bind it and wrap it well with the brittle wood. Any questions. Ask. Selling these GORGEOUS antique church doors. Can't seem to find out the actual origin of them. But were removed from an older church. They are extremely heavy, as they have quite a bit of wrought or cast iron on them. Beautiful detailing. Note in first picture, above handle, there were things done to the doors at one point or another to"update" them.such as the deadbolt lock, and there is also a newer door stop on the back. Each door is made of solid chestnut and has 1 half-length window with 2 horizontal, recessed panels underneath. Also note that chestnut is a rare and valuable wood; it’s not commercially available due to the blight introduced between 1900& 1908. Which made the North American chestnut trees virtually extinct by 1940. Hardware: Besides 1 flushbolt. The doors are not equipped with hardware. However. PA, and they completely reworked them! They took out all of the glass from the lites and separated the old pieces from the new. They replaced all of the new pieces, with old pieces(many of which are no longer commercially available) and then encased them in a new, leaded skeleton. The work took weeks and cost over $900! It is an open back frame that is mounted to your wall with corner screws. The front is tilted out at the top which would seem to indicate that it was designed to be mounted at eye level or higher. The two sliding glass doors are rippled glass to somewhat blur the items stored on the shelves. The glass doors have no chips or cracks to them. The finish is good on the sides. Bottom and interior. There are many white paint spray droplets on the top surface but they are not noticeable unless you mount it too low on your wall.
