Both brass door knob are not meant for keys. There is a manual lock on each side to provide locking from one side or the other. both work fine. The brass plates measure 3.75" x 4.24" Marked inside. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair Antique Colonial Brass Pocket Door Pulls. Antique. Colonial style, pocket door pulls made around the turn of the previous century. They are made of solid, stamped/pressed brass, not plated iron/steel. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them leaving some of the tarnish behind to preserve their aged look. The pull on the left side in the first photo has some deep scratches on the right side. Just outside of the recessed(cup) area. There is also a tiny dent that you could spot along the right edge, about 1" below the scratched area. The keyhole area of the same pull also has a few small dings around it-the previous owner obviously didn't have good aim with a key, or didn't see too well. However, these are not terribly ... moreobvious flaws, and you'll be more impressed by the cool, overall look of the pull than to notice such subtle imperfections. Plus, character marks are part in parcel of buying antique items! Otherwise, both pulls are in good shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, or big dents. Pair Complete Antique Iron Ives Parlor or Pocket Door Rollers & Mounting Plates
Pair of antique parlor or pocket door rollers in excellent working condition complete with mounting plates and original set screws. Patent dates on back of mounting plate: Dec. 5 1876. Jan. 1877, Feb. 6 1883, Oct. 9, 1883. Same decorative casting motifs as other pair of Ives I sold(patent 1886) but apparently prior to Ives trademark being set in the casting. They measure 10" x 6 1/2" and have dual tracking ~ 4" wheels with 5 spokes. Everything seems to work properly. Mounting plate has 7 screw holes and there is an adjustable set screw which turns freely, and a locking screw'keeping' the mounting plates. No cracks or chips in casting. Sold as is. This is a large lot of antique/vintage door knob hardware. There are 5 porcelain door knobs. Three of them measure 2 1/4" across. One is 2" and one is 1 1/2" One of the 2 1/4" knobs has a rusted rod in the back(this is the last picture) There is one glass door knob that measures 2" across. There are 3 glass drawer pulls( one measures 1 1/4" across and 2 are 1" across) There is one brass door knob that measures 1 3/4" across. There are also 7 door knob back plates.
