This is a brass single backplate for a door. There is no door knob. But there is a thumb turn for a lock-no lock. This is a nice old big doorplate with a Victorian design at top and bottom. Nice patina-no paint, just needs a little touch of cleaning. There is a number and name on the back which I assume is the part# and Style name. Also manufacturer letters, but do not know what the letters stand for. Great piece for an entry door, and you could always use another style door plate on inside of door. Set Antique Pocket Door Hardware Locks Plates Pulls
This set of antique pocket door hardware consists of four brass-plated door plates and two locks with brass-plated plates. The locks are operational. Pushing the button in the face causes the pulls to protrude. The lock moves but there is no key. There are some scratches on the door plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and corrosion in many spots where the plating has been worn through. The lock plates appear to have been scratched through to the steel extensively in past years. See the 3rd picture. The plate on the receiving lock has been bent around the opening where the curved lock shaft engages the plate. The receiving lock is marked Corbin. These door plates measure 2 3/8" x 7 3/4" The lock plates are both 1" x 7 5/8" The backset to the centerline of the key is 2 3/4" The hardware has not ... morebeen recoated.

Antique surface rim lock vintage door hardware lockset cast iron catch & latch
I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring is strong and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages nicely. There is no skeleton key for deadbolt slide so you will have to use without it until one is either found or made. This is a heavier good quality box measuring 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. Pair of early red clay black glazed doorknobs. A 1/4 inch driverod, cast iron rosette, cast iron keyhole trim cover for obverse side of lock, catch and some set screws for knobs are included. Antique Very Fancy Victorian Cast Iron Door Knob Plate Escutcheon Hardware
This very fancy. Cast iron, Victorian door knob backplate/escutcheon dates to the late 1800s. It measures 6 3/8" tall x 1 1/2" wide, has 2 screw holes, a keyhole and an opening with a raised collar for a door knob. The surface has designs everywhere with the background filled with a diamond and flower pattern and a raised edge design that has a leaf and shell-like motif surrounded with a beaded edge. The back is plain and unmarked with no maker's signature. The plate has glimmers of a brass/copper wash, and evidence also shows on the back, but I have not attempted to clean it so that decision is up to the winner. Antique Eastlake Small Inside Door Locking Latch- Sargent& Co. This is marked on the back"Sargent& Co. Pat. July 14. 1891. Notes: This item is missing the knobs. Opposite side plate and the door jamb plate. The small knob that moves or snaps to the right and to the left only locks the knob(missing) from twisting. It does not lock the small handle. I'm guessing this was used for and inside room. maybe a bathroom? I'm not sure. I was told this came from a railroad passenger car. But I have no proof to validate that comment. This is made of steel. Painted black and copper. The front has aged with paint loss. Discoloration and mild surface rust. Measurements: 3 17/32" inches by 2 9/16" inches by 5/8" of an inch deep(not including the small handle) The small handle measures about 3/4" of an inch wide. Antique Sargent Door Hardware Plates Pulls Escutcheon
This set of antique brass door hardware consists of two door plates. An interior door escutcheon, and two knobs The round door escutcheon is cast and the door plates are heavy stampings. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The knobs could use some additional cleaning up or could be used as is. Screws are included. The door plates measures 2" x 7 1/2" The knobs measure 2 1/4" across and are quite heavy. The round escutcheon is 2 1/8" diameter and has been cleaned to bare metal. It didn't go with this door. But came from the same old house being torn down in Pittsburgh, The hardware has not been recoated.

This set of antique brass entry door hardware consists of a large exterior door plate. An interior door escutcheon, an interior key escutcheon, two entry-sized knobs, the lock, the original screws with the exception of 1 small one for the key hole plate, and a long spindle from another door. The round door escutcheon is cast and the exterior door plate and the key escutcheon are heavy stampings. There is pitting on the outdoor components as can be seen in the pictures. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The door knob mechanism is operational but it does not quite retract all the way. It's been cleaned up some on the inside but not oiled. The door plate measures 2 1/4" x 9 1/4" The lock plate is 1 1/8" x 7" The backset to the centerline ... moreof the knob is 2 7/8" The knobs measure 2 1/2" across and are quite heavy. The door has a solid oak core covered with 3/16" thick, oak veneers. The door is painted on both sides. There are 5, horizontal, raised panels on both sides of the door. Also, please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are almost 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. Hardware: The door comes equipped with a modern. Brass deadbolt lock(no key) and an old-fashioned flush bolt. Any other hardware shown in the photos is not included. Included are two doorknobs that I think are Bennington. They are scratched and scuffed from age and use. Although could be reused. One has a flanged neck with driverod for lockside of application. Cast iron rosette included for other side of door. Will need a keyhole cover or another cobination backplate. Locking lever for latch. Engages and disengages locking mechanism smoothly for latch. this is an exquisite antique solid heavy bronze front door handle and knocker. it has a wonderful victorian style and made from very heavy thick bronze. it has nicely cut and scrolled thick backplates attached. both piece operate perfectly and have a wonderful patina from age and patina. the lock has a brass inner knob and bronze housing. the pieces have a great bumpy textured finish as well. the handle measures 10 3/4 by 2 3/4 inches and the lock measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches. nice rare piece of early hardware. One section of track is 10' and the other is 8' Both sections of the track are straight and the 2 sections can be easily joined together or shortened. Found in an old Amish barn in Belleville Pa. Rollers read: Myers Stayon Adjustable. Ashland O USA 260, and dated May 28, 1907. Being over 100 years there is wear, i.e"barn fresh. The tracks are a bit rusty but are straight and will work fine. All bolts and wheels spin freely. The main sections measure 7 inches across by 4-1/2 high and 1-1/4 thick. They measure 11-1/2 total length with flanges.
