This is a very collectible metal and brass ornamental door/dinner bell. The frame appears to be iron and the bell is brassIt came from my mother's estate and since it has the letters"ITAL" on the back of the bracket. I'm assuming it was made in Italy. There is a small demon/dragon-like head under the bell. The man's arm is jointed so when you pull the metal rod his arm moves as though he is ringing the bell. It is a beautiful work of metal sculpture. The pulling rod with the hoop on the end will fold up for shipping and shorten the length of box needed for transport. The bell rings very loud. There is some oxidation on the frame, but rather than clean it off, the new owner may want the"patina" left alone, so that is what I am doing.leaving it as it is. Antique Vintage Classic NuTone Door Bell K20 1956 Ding Dong (missing parts)
This doorbell was in my old house before we fixed it up. It actually did work before we took it down but I never had the cover that goes over top so it looked like it does in the pictures. It sounds like the classic 2-tone"ding-dong" sound. If you look up the NuTone K20 on Google images the first picture you see is what it is supposed to look like. It has some paint on it which could probably be cleaned easily. It is stamped with the date Oct 56 as you can see in the pictures. VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS DOOR BELL TO HEAVEN 4 CHIMES SHOP WALL GARDEN GATE STORE
If there's a set of chimes on the gates to heaven. They probably sound just like this one because it's truly heavenly to hear. Made of four graduated size brass bells, they each have 2 to 3 small lead weights that swing to strike the inside of the bells, making the tones that announce your visitors. It sounds a little different each time a door is opened depending on how fast or slow the door swings. The iron bar to which the bells are attached measures 13 1/2" long. The largest bell is 2 3/4" wide and the smallest is 2 3/6" wide. The brass is dull from age, but could be polished in a few minutes. A simple 90 degree bracket on each end of the top bar would mount it to a door and are readily available at any hardware store. Low opening bid and no reserve!

Antique Taylor's hand crank door bell marked Patented Oct. 23 1860. The brass needs polishing and the rest has paint on the edges as does the porcelain knob on the crank. It is missing the spring that goes between the two clangers(ringers) as shown by my fingers and a new one will have to be made. It has a loop that goes over the center post and the ends press into the notch on both of the ringers. Rare Antique Connell's 1874 Patent Crank cast iron door bell with nickel plated cover still in great shape. The Bell mounts on the inside surface of the door and the crank mounts on the outside. Rare antique original 1874 cast bronze ornate victorian door bell and push
Connell's patent door bell and very rare door bell push-the lever is installed to be pushed down. Not pulled down. I've never seen another one like it. Both pieces have seen a lot of use and have the wear to prove it. The bell has some hairline cracks in the center but is still very solid and has many years of life left in it. It is 4 3/4' in diameter at the base and is made of nickel plated bronze, whereas the push is solid bronze. This bell and push will accommodate any door up to 2" thick and is ready to install. The bell produces a loud gong when the lever is pushed. These pushes were sometimes mounted on a wall next to the door, so there are holes in the lever to add an extension piece(not included)

A beautiful. Fully restored, great working Pat. 1877 Connell`s large mechanical door bell and rare double finger latch type ringing mechanism. The bell and ringer are solid brass cast in a very ornate Victorian designs. This is a very large and substantial door bell with a loud hammered bell ring that resonates after the strike. This is no bicycle bell sound. The bell was fully restored and highly polished after removing over 7 layers of old door paint and 130+ years of dirt. All moving parts were cleaned and oiled. The bell most likely will last another 130+ years. A great finishing touch for a great Victorian home restoration project. The bell measures 5 7/8 in across the mounting plates. The bell is 4 3/8" in diameter at the base which is made of copper plated iron and the bell is solid copper. The twist is 2 1/4" diameter and is solid bronze. The bell has a beautiful repeating ring when turned in either direction and will accommodate any door up to 2 1/4" thick. Thinner doors will require shortening of the twist rod which I will be happy to do for you.

Antique Hanging Metal Door Bell Wrought Iron with Goldtone Eagle at top Outside Decor Garden This is in good condition. A little rust on the bracket, see photos. Easily fixed with rust over paint. Nice loud bell tone. Bracket is 13" long and the entire bell and bracket need a 5" clearance in width. raw hide rope hooked on clapper.

Antique BRASS Door Bell with Latin writing on bell 18" pull chain Very Ornate
9 inch brass hanging bell that is 5.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. The bell is 3 inches by itself.The chain is 18 inches. The lovely sounding bell has latin words on it. This is very ornate brass and would be hung next to your door for people to ring when they want to see you for a cup of coffee. I do not know age of this.possibly early 20th century. This really has a lot of charm.
