Very nice antique pendant. In 14k yellow gold of a rounded square carved Sardonyx Intaglio of a Roman Soldier, bezel set in a bamboo style frame. Pendant and fixed bail measure 3/4" by 1/2" wide. Carving is crisp. Unusual to find Intaglio in a pendant, unless this piece was a fob at one point.

Vintage Sterling Silver Black Intaglio LaMode Roman Gladiator Tie Tack & 1 Horse
On auction are two really cool mid century tie tacks. They are both roughly 1/2" in diameter. The black Intaglio gladiator tie tack is stamped on the back LAMODE STERLING" It is in great shape with a tiny bend to the tack back as seen when looking very close but does not affect the attachment to the back or how it sets into it. The horse tie tack has no markings and has kind of a chess piece look and is silver and gold. They both are very detailed as you can see in the close up high definition photos. Massive Antique Mens Silver +14k Gold Intaglio Carnelian Ring Roman Centurian
Massive Antique carnelian Ring. It is a size 12 and weighs 19.2 grams. it stands a whopping 1&3/16 inch tall. 3-CM or 30mm. The intaglio carved Centurian is extra fine quality. Sharp detail. Below his chin is a spear. below the spear is a very small chip. Overall wear to silver. There are no markings on the ring at all. The silver tests at least sterling and the little gold leaves test at least 14K. On each side of the ring a little hole has been bored to attach more gold decoration I would guess. Both sides are missing. The only gold are the corner leaves and one is nearly worn off. I think this ring is very early.Heavy cast and hand beaten. The smithing seems somewhat crude in comparison to the exquisite carved carnelian. Maybe just because of the methods used at the time it was created. I don't know for sure what it is but I'm guessing Carnelian but it's more opaque than translucent. It is a heavy ring weighing 14.4 grams and is a size 8.25 but can be re-sized by a jeweler. It it marked inside and has been tested. The ring is used so it does have wear and can use a cleaning and polishing. This ring came from an auction& it's marked"14K" I don't know the ring size(measurements are below) It weighs 0.5 oz(not sure how much the weight of the gold is versus the stone. For scrap purposes) Based on an online conversion from ounces to grams. I believe the weight in grams is 14.17. The ring features a black cameo-style engraved/ carved figure that looks like a Roman soldier. The stone measures 3/4" x 1/2" The opening of the ring is 3/4" x 3/4" not sure what that translates too for a men's ring size" There's a dent/bend in the ring(see photo) on the undercurve that goes in the finger. Vintage Roman head Intaglio in carnelian agate set in sterling band pendant
You are bidding on a very old roman head intaglio that belonged to my grandfather. He worked for a large jewelry company in New York in the early 1900's and had quite a few of these in his things. Originally they were not mounted. They have a fine slit in the edge all the way around the stone and has a fine wire in the slit. I am sure the stone is a dense red opaque carnelian agate.18mm x 18mm 2 or 3 mm thick. The sterling band and bail were put on by myself. Shipping $5.95.

10 kt mens ring. This is a nice heavy well made ring. It's weight is 10.3 grams. Has a carved Roman Soldier on a hematite stone. The soldier has moon shaped gold on his helmet with a small diamond set in it. The inside is marked P10K. As seen in the picture there are some small intents in the side but I believe it was made this way. It has light scratched on the gold that are normal for any ring.
