Here is a nice thick lead crystal intaglio carved profile cameo of a Roman Gladiator wearing a helmet. It measures 1" 25 mm) round and is 1/4" 8 mm) thick. In the side of this piece is a hand carved groove for the gold tone wire wrap that goes around it to make a pendant. I'm not sure of the actual metal so I put"gold tone" There is one tiny flee bite on the upper right front edge but it does not detract from the image and only really something you see by feel more than sight unless you were actually looking for it. Pair Vintage Homco Gold Wall Plaques Roman Spanish Helmet Arrows Arms
This is a pair of vintage gold color Homco wall plaques from 1968(MCMLXVIII) Made in the USA, 7102& 7105. One has a helmet(Roman or Spanish, not sure) with arrows. The other one has arrows in a pouch and other arms. They are ornate, elongated octagon shaped around the outside with an oval in the center, they have lots of interesting details. Each one has a wall hanger attached and measures about 13 5/16" long and 6 1/2" wide. There are some scuff marks and discoloration due to age(see closeups of pictures) Overall they are in good condition. If you are not familiar with Homco it is a plastic type material similiar to Syroco or Burwood. If you have any questions, please ask and thank you for looking.

Vintage. Mid-century burgher roman helmet bookends. About 8" tall, with a 3 1/2" x 4" wide faux marble base. Great condition however original felt on base is coming unglued- prefer their new own to be responsible for the way repair. Original Borghese label attached to the bases. These are a great for any Borghese collector and those loyal to USC Trojans, Michigan Spartan fans! Fondly remember these in the library of my grandfather back in Michigan. Borghese manufactured fine decorative items for a home. Sold exclusively in high-end specialty shops during the early to mid 1900's. Check out the photos!
