This piece is from the late 1800s. The coral colored bust of a classical Roman warrior is set off against a carnelian colored ground. It is hard to tell exactly. But this looks like they were molded together in a pate-de verre process rather than assembled as I have seen in other glass cameos. The subject is finely rendered and the coral- carnelian color combination is quite striking. It is set in a Victorian style yellow gold filigree setting. Marks: Stamped 14K.
