Antique Figural Pottery Vessel Possibly Pre-Columbian
This is a nice antique figural pottery vessel that is possibly Pre-Columbian depicting a figure holding onto the opening. The reason I believe it may be pre-Columbian is that I purchased it with a collection that is authentic pre-Columbian. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with some wear throughout with the worst being around the rim and to one side of the figures head and it comes exactly as shown. It measures approximately 10" x 3 1/2" x 6 3/4" Like us on Facebook at The Option B Designery Keep in mind the shipping price also covers handling fees. Packaging materials& time, not just postage. Pre Columbian Nayarit warrior, artifact, pottery, vessel, relic, antiquity, COA
Great figure of authentic Pre Columbian terra cota figure of what appears to be a warrior with shield. It has been noted he may be a ball player because he is in act of throwing what may be a ball. However the ball games in much of Mexico were played with a larger ball and with the shield I believe he is warrior. Throwing a rock. In any event, he is in action. Most of the similar items I've seen have the man with a sword so this is a rare form. Piece is in good condition with good manganese deposits. This is a Western Mexico piece from Nayarit culture. Purchased from Artemis Gallery. Dealers in antiquities and a COA is available on request. Wonderful collector's piece. 6 1/2 inches tall. 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. Pre Columbian Pottery? (2 small bowls)
I am not an antiquities dealer. I bought these at an auction from the estate of a world traveler and antiquities collector. I do not have a COA. But I do have some experience dealing with such items and I believe they are authentic. I cross-checked with books and online resources and they seem to be from Costa Rica/Panama in the Diquis-Tarrago style Ca 1000AD based on comparisons. I know little about the owner, except they did travel throughout central American during their lifetime(based on other items in the estate) Condition is fairly good considering the age. No cracks in the bowls that I can see, just some chips around the edges.

Pre Columbian beads, necklace style with antique clay beads, pottery, artifact
Handsome arrangement of antique native clay beads with a pre Columbian stone pendant. This is another combination of old and new together for a sharp wearable piece. The other spacers and restrung clasps are all new as is the cord. The stones are lovely pastel shades and easy to look at with a simply stated elegance. The colored clay stones are probably North American. About 1-200 years old and the stone is Pre Columbian, but I don't know the culture but likely 500-1000 years old. Created and designed by Elaine Teevens of the Bead Corner. Monument Colorado. We offer a piece by Encore by Design; Wearing History. See the others and more will be posted soon. About 18 inches in length. Please view pics and ask questions Inca Treasures LTD

My uncle always told me he had a substantial Pre-Columbian pottery collection. When he passed. I found a LOT of pottery in his house and brought most of it home with me. I am listing a few pieces weekly. He was very interested and educated in the various cultures and was fascinated with the artifacts they left behind. He traveled to South America twice a year from the 1960s-1990s and visited many ruins and historical sites– that’s about 40 years of collecting. He had very close friends in South America. I will be totally honest and say that I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PRE-COLUMBIAN POTTERY. He purchased many pieces from professional auction houses and many still have stickers on them from the auctions. If ... morethere is any paperwork with an item. I will include pictures of the paperwork. THE PICTURES SHOW EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT THE POTTERY. Please review the pictures carefully when deciding to bid. NOTE: I will take close-up pics of anything I think is a flaw(a crack. A chip, a broken piece, etc. There is a crack on the neck that looks like it has been repaired as shown in the picture. native american pottery mound builders antique pre columbian myan mexico
Very nice antique looking pot 5 1/2in high purchased at a auction in Durand Michigan. The family collected large amounts of indian axe heads and thousands of arrowheads and a vast collection of very expensive minerals. The 2 pots I purchased were the only examples of pottery there but the family also collected lots of glass(roseville weller ect) they did not collect anything inexpensive so I think this is genuine. Not tested or authenticated. Have 2 of these for sale as shown in the last photo. Sprinkler pot is the only on for sale in this auction. insurance is included in shipping. Thanks for looking.

Pre Columbian Chimu bird pottery, effigy vessel, artifact, antiquities, COA
This is a great piece of rare Chimu art with two birds looking over their shoulder. There appears to be a tiny monkey sitting against the spout. Authentic piece of Pre Columbian pottery vessel with unusual form. Good condition with the usual surface scratches. There is a small 1 inch chip or crack behind one bird' swing but not full thickness. The black ware seems enhanced by a brownish tint in places on the glaze. Great collectors item from Peru. The Chimus came along just before the Incas and were defeated by the Incas but left wonderful art. Ht. 9 inches. Width and length 6 inches. Monkey lucky to be 1 inch which may be why it clings to the spout. Sort of a canteen form. CA 1300AD-1500AD Culture: Pre Columbian Chimu Culture in northern Peru Provenance Artemis Gallery.
