2 Antique Clay figures Man & Woman, Nayarit ?. Pre Columbian Pottery Very Old
These two figures were bought at an Estate Sale from a very Important Oregon Artist who loved Mexico. These were in his private collection and appear to be artifacts from a dig done decades ago or maybe even much longer ago. They could be hundreds of years old or thousands. I am no expert so I just don't know. They loose a little dust every time they are handled so I was very careful in photographing them. Please ask questions before bidding if you are not sure. I am no expert, just know that these appear to be a red clay and as you can see from the photographs some of the areas of each figure are worn off and a dust comes off of them when handled because they are so old. I have never had anything this old so will pack very gently when shipping them to you and if you have any special shipping instructions I will do my best to comply.

COLIMA, Mexico Pre Columbian Pottery Male Figure with Skin Lesions 400-800 A. D.
This is a primitive piece of pottery made in Colima. Mexico circa 400-800 A.D. It is mounted on a wooden pedestal that gives the information about the piece and the back is an advertisement for Valisone Cream. This looks prehistoric and I believe it to be an authentic piece. The ad had me concerned, but the owner of this piece is a retired Archaeologist, so I now feel comfortable again calling this pottery piece an authentic primitive piece from Colima, Mexico. It measures 2.75" x 4.5" and is in great condition. See pictures for details and please contact me with any questions. 1150 14th#18

ANCIENT PRE-COLUMBIAN BLACK POTTERY WEDDING VASE,CIRCA 1200-1500AD, INCA INDIANS
You are bidding on actual item pictured. Here is an ancient pre-columbian black pottery wedding vase. Native, circa 1200-1500 AD. Very old and in good condition for age. Piece is unsigned and measures approx. 1 1 inches tall and 1 4 inches wide form spout to spout. Shows some chips to both spouts but every thing else is solid. It is amazing it survived this long. Very crude and handmade. Not on a wheel; looks to be c oil built. Very early and has a shiny appearance but piece is not glazed. We were told from an apprasial that the style of the vessel is from the Inca indians from Peru. The space within the handle represents the couples own circle of life. One spout represents the husband and the other spout represents the wife. The native american tribes derived the wedding vase from the ancient tribes. Antique Pre Columbian Moche Pottery Redware Stirrup Jug Polychrome Paint
Up for bids is a wonderful old Pre-Columbian Pottery Stirrup Jug. It has Polychrome paint. Creamy yellow with red/brown design. It looks to be red clay and has a nice feel to it. I have been let know that this Jug that I bought at a estate sale was not Native American like I thought it was! I knew it looked old, I just did not know how old! After looking on the internet, I feel quite sure it is a Pre-Columbian Stirrup Jug as was suggested to me. It has wear and chips around the lower base and one on the upper lip. There is one tiny chip(shown in some pictures) that was loose and has come off and someone has drawn with pencil on the base. This pot came from a wonderful old estate on Lake Superior. I have also listed a Native American made Basket from the same estate. Please look at the pictures and email any questions. Thank you for looking ... moreand good luck.

Pre Columbian Pottery Shards Salado Gila Polychrome, 1300-1600 A. D.
I purchased these fragments at the Arizona Gem and Mineral Show from a local company called rarepottery.info many years ago. They make a nice gift for anyone interested in native cultures. History of the Americas, or archaeology. Fragments come in original bag I purchased them in, with the original card describing the artifact and the people who produced it. This one reads"SALADO" The"Salado" were named after the Spanish name Rio Salado or Salt River. The Salado lived in present day Arizona, along the Salt River extending into a wide valley known as the Tonto Basin, along the desert mountains near Globe and Miami during 1150 to 1450 A.D. Three varieties of polychrome pottery is a characteristic of this culture: Pinto Polychrome, Gila Polychrome, Tonto Polychrome. However Salado pottery can be divided into 32 known types ... moreand variants. Under picture, card reads"Excavated from private property near Safford, Arizona. Card contains picture of an example of intact pottery and"Gila Polychrome 1300-1600 A.D. Nice presentation of some very nice, very old fragments.
Vintage Central American Indian Small Pottery Piece Marked Pre-Columbian GVC
You are bidding on a small Vintage Central American Indian Pottery piece. Just over 1.25" wide. And just over 1.25" tall. This comes in a small clear plastic case with cotton and padding. The tag has"Central American Indians" on one side; Pre-Columbian on the other. In good vintage condition. Tag has been taped to the pottery for many years. Please let me know if you need to see any other pics. These came from the estate of an Iowa woman who was a coordinator for missionaries in the 1960's. They brought back gifts to her from the various Reservations they visited. And she dated, tagged and stored them. She must have continued to collect because there were newer items also. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding. I will combine shipping on multiple wins. Thanks for looking!

You are buying a piece of authentic. Pre-columbian pottery in excellent estate condition. The piece was purchased at an estate sale of a collector who had both authentic and repro pottery pieces. The piece is approximately 5 1/8" tall and 3 3/4" across the mouth. US continental shipping only. Please feel free to ask any questions before you make your purchase. I know literally nothing about pottery and will probably not be able to give a decent answer. But I will do the best I can. I have purchased from the estate dealer(Roy Dudley in Little Rock, Arkansas) for many years and he is a reputable antique and estate dealer. I appreciate your interest. pre columbian pottery drinking vessel, and cooking vase, very nice pieces
I recently did a storage cleanout. Where I found a lot of very old pottery and art, these two pieces were wrapped together, and inside the one of them was a piece of paper that says, your candle container is a pre Columbian pril que cup used as a drinking vessel, the vase was to cook in circa 900AD signed tim and patty, I don't know much about pottery but this guy had a lot of it, so I am guessing these are what it is said to be.
