This dragon symbolizes the order of the Dragon from the 15th Century. Which at the time was very widespread in Hungary. The dragon is shown here surrounded by a spur, whose sting is turned down. Ancient Medieval Crusader Bronze Signet Ring; Rare!
For your consideration is a nice bronze signet Crusader ring with markings that is unique to the Crusaders and or Knights Templars. This ring dates to about the 12th century. And measures 20mm on the inside diameter. It still makes a decent seal, after centuries in the ground! This piece was worn a lot apparently. And most likely worn by the knight or crusader in some battles, as you can see from the small fracture on the top. Bronze is a very hard material. And only a very hard blow from a material equally as strong( like a sword) could fracture it. It doesn't appear to have been caused by anything else, as it was inspected closely.
