Antiques and antiquities for many years, and my shop philosophy is to sell very good antiques at very low prices very quickly so I do not need to carry much stock; larger shops will charge much more. But take much longer than I do to make a sale. Each to their own. Then- but that makes my prices ultra-low compared to a bricks-and-mortar antiques shop. I try to describe everything I sell as honestly as possible. Including any damage, issues, or attributions to a maker, in my descriptions. If you have

Antique Glazed Ceramic Pottery Bowl Persia ca 12th -13th Century Islamic Kashan
This was part of my late father-in-law's collection of antiques. He was an active collector who frequented galleries and auction houses in New York City from the 1940's to the 1970's. I have included the cover of a catalog from a 1943 Parke-Bernet Galleries as well as one page showing the various types of items that were part of his collection. I believe this piece is a Kashan bowl dating from the 12th or 13th century. But I am not an expert. It has a diameter of approximately 4 inches and a height of approximately 1.75 inches. Satisfaction is guaranteed with a 14 day return policy and shipping and insurance are free.

Superb Rare 9th-12thC. Islamic/Persian Pottery Vase, with 19thC Silver Additions
Superb Rare 9th-12thC. Islamic/Persian Pottery Vase. With 19thC. Silver Additions Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Sup er b Rare 9th-12thC. Islamic/Persian Pottery Vase. With 19thC. Silver Additions This is a beautiful and very ancient twin handled vase from the Middle East. Probably Persia or Syria. It bears an attractive green glaze with incised decoration to the upper body. While the lower part is enclosed in a 19 th century metal repair. This piece dates to around the 9 th-12 th century A.D. either late Ummayad or early Abbasid dynasties. Which makes it extremely rare and desirable. The glaze is in very good condition with little of the abraded wear often seen on ceramics of this date. But it has patches of iridescence from degradation of chemicals in the glaze– a process that takes centuries to develop, and a good sign of extreme ... moreage. The body under the metal appears intact. Although the metal foot covers up losses on the base rim of the vase. The upper rim is banded in silver with an etched and pricked design, while the lower metal cover(made of brass) has an elaborate design of animals and plants with diamond shaped panels(these panels may also be low grade silver) The brass work was originally enamelled black, but this is now quite worn. Measuring 27cm(10.5” high. It is unmarked, and weighs just over 2kg. The condition is good, considering the age and size of the piece, and the glaze has only crazing, a few dings, and the iridescence already mentioned– on extreme close-up, the glaze is also slightly dulled in many places. The metal parts have wear and tear, with a couple of minor splits, corrosion, and encrusted dirt. Please see similar pieces of this date here: Here: And Here: Please see my Ebay shop for more Indian. Antique 16th/17th C. Middle/Far East Egyptian, China, Islamic Pottery Plate Dish
Welcome to our auction Real Antique Ceramic Art handmade hand painting plate very rare DESCRIPTION: This is a very rare and very old. Age over 400 years, delicate and deep blue cobalt dish, glazed internally and externally. Only the round base( brown color) is unglazed. On the outer side, near the top, are two embossed, concentric circles who are hardly visible in photos. It is decorated, hand painting, with very pure cobalt, with blue motifs of flowers, and in the center exists a blue spontaneous brushstroke. This decoration show a spontaneous, naturalistic style of early period of decorative art pottery. I'm not sure of the country of manufacture. I guess that this old plate is an Egyptian faience, but I cannot rule out the possibility that this plate, be from some other country in the Middle East or Asia. It is in very good condition ... morefor its age. With the exception of a repaired chip on the rim, plus some very small signs. Also, the plate, is crackeled, as expected, for an antique museum, so many years. Dimensions: Diameter. 22.5 cm/ 8 7/8" Height. 6.0 cm/ 2 3/8" Weight. 422 gr. Antique Ceramic Pottery Stoneware Painted Flask Bottle Vase Jug Persian Islamic
WELCOME TO MY PAGE UP FOR AUCTION: ANTIQUE PERSIAN STONEWARE POTTERY HAND PAINTED JUG JAR FLASK The featured items represents a pottery/stoneware flask or you can call it jug. Jar, vase, tea crock, canister etc. The piece measures approximately 4 1/4" x 2" 1/4" at the base and 6" tall from the bottom to the top of the neck. I believe the jug has a Persian origin. Probably made in Iran or a country from the surrounding region, where these jars were used to store oil, wine, vinegar and other. The piece is hand painted with an image of a young man, holding what appears to be a big vase. The picture is the same both on the front and the back. The sides and the top has floral decoration. The flask has a glossy finish. The item comes in overall good condition for its age. The glaze has some craquelure and crazing but nothing ... moredeep. Small finish chips on some of the corners. The featured jug will make a great addition to any collection. It will be an attractive display for an antique or oriental style decorated place! Feel free to ask for details or additional pictures. HAPPY BIDDING& GOOD LUCK! Please. Take a peak at my other auctions for more great goodies. Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
