This sale is for an 18k yellow gold Etruscan-style charm. And has six jewels total. Five are faceted- amethyst, two aquamarines, citrine and garnet- and girdle the charm, with a sixth jewel, an aquamarine cabochon on the bottom. The gold body of the charm has a satin finish and the gold balls are highly polished. It was originally connected to a bracelet from Arte d'Oro, Italy. The charm is 5/8 inch in length and 5/8 inch in width. It does not have a jump ring. This piece has been acid tested as 18k gold. Payment is PayPal only. It is in overall excellent condition(especially considering its age) The bracelet has a beautiful decorative slide with engraved detailing. Applied scrolling and floral designs and five seed pearls. The bracelet adjusts to fit an 8” wrist. The mesh band measures 5/8” wide while the slide measures ¾” by 1” There are no maker’s marks/stamps on this piece. I have not cleaned this bracelet as I have left that for the buyer. It features a wonderful gold filled locket in the Etruscan Revival style. In the center of the round locket is a beautifully engraved monogram. The locket connects to a portion of chain which then connects to the slide. The locket portion can slide off the back of the slide if desired. The slide is a wonderful Etruscan Revival slide with a hand carved hardstone cameo in the center. The slide is attached with rings to the chain. So it does not actually slide. Beautiful Antique VICTORIAN Etruscan Gilt Brass & Steel Opaline Glass Bracelet
This is a very unusual and beautiful costume bracelet from Victorian times! Metal is a gold"gilt" over base metal(probably brass) An intricate"Etruscan" beaded design outlines the cut steel or gunmetal pieces and the opaline glass parts as well. Opaline glass was manufactured in France in the 1800's. This particular glass has a purplish-pinkish hue that is semi transparent. Bracelet's inner circumference is 7 inches and adjusts down to about 6 inches. Width at widest point is 1 3/8 inches. Bracelet hinges simply with a button and three hole settings. Superb Victorian 19th C, Etruscan Revival 15K Pin
Offered at auction is a wonderful mid to late 19 th century yellow gold pin made in Etruscan revival style. The design is a‘tour de force” of this style of gold work combining minute twisted wire. Bead work and an amazing spiral openwork detail dividing the center design of the pin from its outer edge. This pin is completely intact including its original attachment pin and“C” catch. It has not been altered or messed with. The pin is in wonderful condition with no wear evident, I rate it a 9.5 out of 10 in its state of preservation. The pin is unmarked. As was common in the 19 th century. But tests to be made of solid 15K bloomed yellow gold. This pin is 49mm long by 16mm wide and weighs just over 7 grams. The links in the bracelet are hollow and thank God that they are. They are huge anchor style links with crown bursts all over them. Joined by a large twisted wire link. Each of the three fobs are covered with crown bursts and fine filigree work. A pryamid shape one is bezel set with a green malacite cab. Another with a tourquise flat slab and the third with 12 small round red coral cabs. This one is hinged and opens up. Inside a swab of fabric which was used to hold perfume that a lady would dab with a finger and apply on herself. The clasp is a tounge type with a double chain having a spring ring clasp for safety. my guess is this is not the original way it was done. Each of the large charms is designed as a watch fob and adorned with canetille, Repousse and gemstones. The nautical link charms are each adorned with canetille florettes. This is an outstanding charm bracelet. The charms average size is 1 1/8" long. Not including the ring that holds it to the bracelet. Each has a different shape, each is adorned with a different stone. Stones are(clockwise on the main image, starting with the cubic charm) Tiger Eye, Green Onyx, Sardinia Coral, Carnelian and Malachite. You are bidding on a lot of two antique stickpins- I believe both are late Victorian. The first is a lovely and very ornate hollow form"puffy" stick pin. With etruscan style embellishments on both sides. The background look like gold fill to me, but on one side, it looks at though thin sheets of solid gold were applied(see closeups below) I have no way of having the metal tested, so what you see is what you get. The straight pin is in wonderful condition, with no losses whatsoever, so I'm not sure if it is solid gold or brass. A little loss to the gold fill on the background- again, please see pics below. The second stickpin has the letter"N" mounted on what looks like some sort of creamy white hardstone. Vintage 800 Silver Etruscan Bell Fob Charm Bracelet
The beloved vintage Etruscan bell makes three appearances in this unique vintage 800 silver Etruscan fob charm bracelet. The bracelet itself. A classic Etruscan mariner link adorned with florets and sporting a great patina that was decades in the making, was made with three integral charm rings, as you can see. Its hook clasp is marked 800. The bell charms themselves represent a mini collection. The smallest bell with the openwork detail and red clapper looks like a late Art Nouveau/early Deco era piece to me. The bell in the center has also has a clapper that rings, and the bell itself features wonderful cannetille work and bezel-set coral-red stones. Don't know if they are coral or coral art glass. On the other end you will find the bell with large granulation beads, more coral-red stones, cannetille work, a repousse' dome, and ... morea gorgeous cobalt-blue cabochon(art glass, I assume) rimmed in flower-like cannetille arcs. The bracelet measures 7 3/4" x 1/2" and that center bell measures 7/8" tall(WITH bale) and the bottom is 7/8" in diameter. I accept Pay Pal and require payment within 3 days of the sale.
