Outstanding Victorian Etruscan Revival 14K Gold Coral Rose Brooch 7.6 grams
This auction is for an outstanding 14K gold Victorian era brooch with a carved coral rose in the center. And three dangling tassels on the bottom. The brooch measures approximately 1-1/4 inches wide. The pin back is missing, and there are three danglers missing off the tassels. Also, there is a chain that connects from one tassel to the next, which has come loose but is still present. There are no maker's marks or assay marks, but we tested the gold and it was positive for 14K, and may very well be of a slightly higher content. Horizontal Bar pin with a real padlock dangle in the shape of a heart. MARKINGS: Unmarked but the majority of these pieces were gold filled. It did not test as 10kt but could possibly be 9kt. The gold content is most likely rolled gold. ITEM DESCRIPTION: This brooch is a horizontal bar design. It weighs 0.2 ounces or 6 grams. It measures 1 1/8" x 3/8" and has the T bar and C style clasp. I believe it is a chatelaine style pin that has had a Victorian padlock dangle added. It is locked and does not open but there is a link where a chain and key may have been attached at some point. Each end has a 6mm Etruscan ball. CONDITION: The condition is excellent for a piece this old. The clasp has been re-soldered ... moreat some point. Antique Etruscan Revival Cimaruta Pendant (Stamped 800 Silver)
An item such as this is rare and hard to find. This Cimaruta is not stamped with a maker's mark. But is reminiscent of Coppini and Peruzzi Etruscan Revival pieces. It is stamped, indicating it is made of 800 silver(see last picture) There are a number of motifs represented in this pendant: the"sprig of rue, angel, knight's helmet, serpent, crescent moon(with face) key, flaming heart, hand holding an axe, vervain flower, and bird. There have been no breaks or repairs on this pendant-it is in excellent, antique condition. It has been cleaned, but its patina has been left in its original condition. This lovely pendant is rather substantive in size-it measures 60mm in width and 50mm in height.

Antique Classic Revival/ Neo Etruscan locket pendant necklace. 14k gold. Enamel, garnet and amethyst. Possibly made in England, circa 1860-80. Measurements: Length of the chain is approx 16.5 inches. Pendant is approx 3 1/2 inches long from top of upper section to bottom of fringe. Weighs 17.1 grams. Gems Upper is 15mm long. Smaller is 10mm long. Garnet weight approx 14.30ct. The necklace consists of a number of parts: the upper. Larger section in the form of a horseshoe. On a solid gold banded border is an openwork wreath of foliage with tiny berries or buds twining along the stems. These surround a gold twisted-rope which in turn encloses a white enamelled, gold paterned flat area with another ropetwist enclosing the central cabochon garnet. The garnet of a beautiful deep red colour, which the Victorians adored. The back of this section ... morehas a locket, currently empty, but can hold a picture or locket of hair. A delicate. I love this vintage Etruscan fob charm bracelet. Not only because I'm a primary color girl at heart, but also because of this treasure's feast of eye-grabbing swirls, curlicues, and circles that flow from fob to fob. The dynamic geometry is created by the charms' Etruscan applied decoration, from granulation dots and florets to intricate twisted wire cannetille shapes, culminating in the delightful and shapely openwork of the filigree lily fob at the end of the bracelet. I wish I knew more about this bracelet! Alas, I don't. The bracelet, marked 800, and the fob charms are decades old with wonderful patina and the surface wear one would expect. Elegant pendant earrings with small pod-shaped surmounts in gold suspending a link in the form of an arrow with minute filigree and bead decoration. Antique Victorian Classic Revival/ Neo Etruscan pendant earrings. 14-15kt gold and carved cameos. Made circa 1850-80's. Exact origin unknown. Measurements: total length of earrings. Excluding the wires, is 7cm. Combined weight is 15.1 grams. Exquisite pair of carved cameos: one woman looks right. The other left, so they are a true pair. Each one most likely depicts an Ancient Greek or Roman goddess. Wonderful carving with very fine detail. The cameos are set in Classic Revival gold mounts with fine filigree work and granulation in concentric bands, the raised portions catching and playing with the light, adding to the visual appeal. Below is a series of loops, allowing for total flexibility and movement, with filigreed half globes above tear-drop tassles that swing as the wearer moves. The cameos are suspended from a branching pair of ... moreclub-formed arms, forming a'V' shape and also embellished with filigre goldwork. Unique Etruscan Revival Earrings, Carnelian Cabochon
This amazing pair of Etruscan Revival Earrings are in perfect condition. I researched them a little and they are unique and hard to find a nice pair. I was told they were made in Italy but I don't know that is true. I bought them from a very well informed Antique Dealer in Salem MA and had a post put on because I didn't care for clip-on earrings. It was done profesionally. I believe the stone is Carnelian and it appears darker or lighter depending on how the light hits them. They are marked on the back 925 and also either BAK or 8AK. The first letter is a little blurry and I couldn't find any info online about either signature. I am selling these because I have long. Dark hair and they can't be seen. this is a pair of old solid silver earrings. There are no marks for purity or country. The style looks middle eastern or etruscan. The silver tests to be at least 900 fine. This is an antique Victorian 48" watch chain with an Etruscan style slide with seed pearls. The watch clip is marked something like RFG& Co(not sure of the initials) and on the bottom of the clip is a mark and 10 but I don't know if that means 10K gold. antique Gold Filled Etruscan style engraved locket watch fob / pendant, unmarked
Up for bids is this Etruscan style Gold Filled locket watch fob or pendant. I believe this to date to the early 1800's. And it opens to hold two pictures. It is one inch high, and almost an inch wide. This locket fob is decorated with scrollwork, and has two blank boxes on the front for initials. FINE Antique VICTORIAN Etruscan 14k GOLD & Diamond LOCKET
This is a fine beautiful 14k yellow gold Victorian Etruscan type locket from the Mid-19th century. The locket had a beautiful gold patina with delicate tiny beading accenting the piece. Along with a.15 point bright sparkling diamond. On the back is the portion for a picture or hair. There is no internal bezel or glass however the hinge and closure is extremely secure and snaps tightly. Also the bail is beautifully detailed with a generous opening to wear with a pearl or beaded necklace, silk, or thick chain. I purchased this wonderful old lot at a recent Estate sale. This lot will include a stunning old watch fob. That I believe is Roman inspired. The clip is marked SWANK. Although, I must say the clip does not feel like the same quality as the chain. I think the chain might be made of brass. It has a nice weight and is made very solid. This wonderful old lot will also come with what I believe to be Victorian earrings. They kind of remind me of acorns. We will call them acorns for now. They also feel solid and are very beautiful, also depicting this period. The next item is what appears to be a Victorian Harp. It is marked in a square on the bottom. Sadly I can not make out what it says. The next item is a very ornate badge, pin or crest. This beautiful piece has two crossed swords coming up form the bottom, having a very regal Lion in the center. ... moreThe Lion is holding a flag or perhaps a torch in one paw. At the very top there is another crown. This piece is Beautiful and very old. It is very detailed. The next wonderful old piece is a Roman or Greek soldier. It is just beautiful. The backside having an Eagle, holding onto a branch. There are raised MA? I think at the bottom. All of these pieces are wonderful and would make a wonderful addition to a collection.
