The three scarab cabochons show lovely color variations on glazed surfaces. With some fine crackling of glaze. Pendant chain has a unique hand- hammered appearance. Vintage Sterling Silver Authentic Blue Egyptian Scarab Pendant You are bidding on a vintage 1960's Sterling Silver Authentic Blue Egyptian Scarab Pendant. This pendant is part of my own collection and was given to me by my grandmother after she went on a trip to Egypt. This Pendant is hallmarked in Arabic on the back of the sterling as shown in the last two photos above. This pendant has been sitting in my jewelry box for many years. And needs a good cleaning because the front is very tarnished. The pendant is not damaged, and has a little sterling chain with a jump ring allowing it to slide on a necklace chain(not included) The Egyptian scarab is the typical blue faience set at the front and back of the stone. What is unusual is that the back is covered up by the setting so you can't see the images on the back of the stone. This ... moreis a lovely pendant that could also be placed on a charm bracelet if one chose although it may dangle around a bit. However, I wore this scarab around my neck and not placed on a charm bracelet because of its size and weight. The pendant is flat on the back, curved on the top surface with the engraved lines of the Dung Beetle, and the sterling silver setting is simple and secure. The sterling currently has a medium sterling patina to it with some tarnish that would clean up nicely. This pendant has the simple design on the front as shown in the several photos above. The photos above are a close-up picture of the pendant from several views. Including a close up of the hallmark on the back. This pendant measures approximately 7/8" in length(just the scarab in its setting) and 1 1/2" long including the length from the necklace chain as it hangs on its little chain, and the width of the scarab is approximately 3/4" with a depth of 3/8" I do not polish the pendants/ charms or bracelets I sell on Ebay, leaving that decision to the buyer. Fabulous tannish brown faience scarab on a liquid silver chain with chevron beads and flat disc beads. Necklace is a short collar length. Clasped length is about 14 3/4" Scarab pendant is about 6/8 x 3/8" Liquid silver chain and clasps are unmarked as to silver content. H as been tested and is positive for sterling. Scarab has interesting hieroglyphics on back. They may not mean anything in particular. CONDITION: The line that the liquid silver beads are strung on has kinked up a little. If the necklace is hung up with a tiny bit of extra weight hanging from it that might help straighten the stringing. I will leave that decision up to the buyer. Scarab looks aged but otherwise appears to be in very nice condition. Hard to tell if it has any damage beyond looking aged. This soapstone scarab was purchased on a trip to Egypt back in the 1950s. It's a unique. Hand carved piece that has been passed down through our family. It features exquisite detail work. Especially on the underside which has lovely hieroglyphics. Th is would make a great addition to anyone's home. Office, or even as a gift! The fine and detailed carvings on this scarab are a chalky white. Which really pops on the milky green soapstone. Beautiful Egyptian Coin Silver Wide Scarab Bangle Bracelet
This Beautiful Egyptian Coin Silver Scarab Bracelet dates to the early to mid twentieth century. It is not marked. But is has been tested for silver. This cannot show the silver grade only that it has a substantial silver content. The bracelet weighs 53.5 grams and measures 1.25" wide. The interior diameter is about 2-3/8" although this could of course be adjusted a bit. it is in very nice condition and cleaned up quite nicely after one quick cleaning.

Antique Egyptian Scarab Seal Ring Set in 14K Yellow Gold in excellent condition.The ring is believed to be from the third Neo-Egyptian Revival period circa 1920's.There are no maker's or metal content marks on the gold band although it acid tests to be 14K yellow gold.Please see detailed photos provided.The ring size appears to be approximately 7.5- 8 as close as I can tell. Layered necklace: It measures 4" wide in the front and the entire necklace is about 21" 30" around with a 2" extender. Pendant: It measures 2 1/2" from the top center and the entire necklace is about 22" around. My boyfriend and I ran a curiosities shop in Laguna Beach. California for many years. These are unique Egyptian revival demitasse spoon dating back to the early 1900's. On one side you see the scarab beetle which infiltrated the design and art world after the discovery of King Tutankhamen. The first Egyptian revival in the decorative arts lasted from about 1820-1850. A good forty years but silver pieces from this period are scarce enough. So finding pieces in the Egyptian revival style is a herculean(or should we say Osirisian) task. There was a second form of Egyptian revival in the decorative arts in the 1920’s after the discovery of the tomb of King Tutankhamen. From time to time since then there has been an incorporation of Egyptian motifs in silver and silver plate.This is one such case. The Antique Egyptian or Scarab pattern was patented in 1909. Ancient Egyptian Scarab of a Horned Ram. New Kingdom (1570-1070 BC)
At first when I came across this scarab I thought that I was looking at the inscribed name of the Egyptian ram-headed god. Khnum. The image of the ram(facing right) and the hieroglyphic character to his front looks very much like the name for the god Khnum. But since I can't be positive of what that first character is, I'm just going to call it a scarab with an incised ram(possibly eating a bush) Anyway. This scarab is 17 x 12 mm long and holed from end to end for suspension around one's neck. Made of steatite the scarab dates probably from the end of Egypt's Second Intermediate Period to the end of the New Kingdom. The is NO RESERVE for this item and its authenticity is guaranteed forever.

Beetles were an Egyptian symbol for rebirth and the Victorians relished in their unique form. Measurements: 7 1/4″ long x 1/2″ wide Circa: 1860.possibly earlier Condition: Very good with very light wear to the beetles. Some of the gold gilt has mellowed with age. The beetles have remained surprisingly unscathed through all these years! Magnificent rare antique Victorian bracelet set with real Egyptian scarab beetles! Thirteen genuine scarab beetles are prong set in a gold gilt brass frame complete with an indent where the mouth would be. Each scarab beetle has an iridescent emerald green body with overtones of fiery red orange at the rim.
