This is for 5 Rare Drawer pulls From the 1920's I believe these were originally on an old Secretary but not sure. Each pull has the Egyptian Pharohs Head with detailed design.They are app. 4 3/4" wide and the screws are app. 3" apart. All have their screws only 2 have the nuts on the screws. It is made of wood and measures about 18.5" to the top of the camel's head x 24" long x 9.5" at the widest point. There is no cushion. The two posts that represent the camel humps are capped with brass. There is a chain from the camels head. There are decorative tacks on the legs and other places(one tack is missing from one of the legs) The stool is sturdy and the wood shows no signs of decay. It has aging and wear on the finish but still looks nice in my opinion. Antique Egyptian Revival Embroidered Textile Tapestry c1920 This is for an antique Egyptian Revival embroidered tapestry. Circa 1920. Decorated with Egyptian linen. Including stripped, beige and brown, sewn by hand onto a course muslin ground. The Egyptian linen depicts a hieroglyphic split scene. With four standing figures in the upper half, and three figures in a boat in the lower half. It is possible that some of the Egyptian linen fragments used here are from Ancient Egypt, as they look much older than the ground. This embroidery measures 49.2 cm in width and 44.6 cm in height. It weighs 129 grams. The condition is generally very good, the Egyptian linen does have areas of through wear, spotting and discolouration, associated with age, there is no damage or repair. This metal desk set has been in our family for over 50 years. Not sure of origin or material. The ink well cover is dented and does not include glass ink well. Each piece has scara b decoration. The scarab appears to be a brass color and the base material some type of plated brass. On the ins ide of the inkwell cover is a stamp Benedict Karnak Brass. Up for auction is this unique vintage bisque Egyptian revival scarab pendant or charm. I believe it is from the 1930's era because it has a very Art Deco look to it. It looks like it is made with some kind of bisque material and I think it has a soft. Aqua blue glaze that has a hand painted gilt finish, but I'm not sure. It has a thin wire loop at the top and there are textured grooves in the surface that mimic the separation of wings and head. This pendant measures 4 cm long x 3 cm wide x 1 cm deep. The Art Deco Motif appears to be hand painted with deepest colors of Indian red for the body& deep Blue spiraling wings& Green accents. The flowers above in a bit of a deco style are also an indian red. the Vase is textured& feels quite old. There are some imperfections from age& a lg chip to the bottom of the rim which could be somewhat fixed with possibly black paint to make the chip blend in. also looks to be a repair on the bottom but looking on the inside the repair did not crack thru. but I am selling the Vase in the condition found. lowered the price considerably due to the problems. When Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered by the British Egyptologist Howard Carter who was excavating on behalf of his patron Lord Carnarvon.
