It is made of Temstone which is used for fine museum replicas and is threaded on a strand of plaited leather with silver clasps. An ochre colouration enhances the fine details that I carved on the original amulet back in 1999. It has only been released for a short time as a necklace and makes for a charming alternative to the recent and much larger eye necklace that may also be on offer in the store. This is an accurate replica of a fine Late Kingdom ushabti. One of fewer than 60 made from the original(and no more will be) Each ushabti figure is made of stone coloured resin and stands on a white marble base(lined underneath with felt) Dimensions: Total height(including base) = 12.5 cms(nearly 5 ins) Marble base = 5 cms(2 ins) square. This is truly one of a kind! Necklace of genuine ancient Egyptian glass& faience beads. Ptolomeic or early Roman period(300 BC- 100 AD) Central pendant of stamped Roman glass. Beads were found in the area surrounding Alexandria, Egypt. Necklaces such as these in the archaic style were worn by the native Egyptian population, as opposed to the more geometric designs favored by the Greek& Roman overlords. While looking at this necklace it's easy to think about the history of the beads, imagining the stories of those who originally owned them. This necklace makes a very dramatic presentation. Restrung with modern sterling silver findings& toggle clasp set with an amethyst. Necklace measures nearly 20" end to end. Spiky beads vary in length, but most range from 1/2" to 1.25" long.

This fantastic ancient Egyptian set was purchased in Egypt in 1965. It consists of a necklace and pair of earrings. The rare blue glazed ancient Egyptian tubular designed beads date from the 18th dynasty(1570-1349 B.C) These beads were used by ancient craftsmen for creating regla jewelry desired by the ancient women of fashion. The set comes in the original box along with a bit of history. All the findings are made of 14K gold(marked) The necklace measures approximately 15" long.
