ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE VINTAGE KELLOGGS WOODEN SPOONS SCOOP MASHER APRONS ROLLING PIN
Twelve(12) wooden spoons of various sizes and made of various types of wood. One spoon has"Kellogg's" burned into the handle. These spoons are from my own collection and I take very good care of all my wooden spoons. Once every couple of months or after each use I rub them down with a food grade mineral oil to keep them from splitting and the grain from raising and I never let them sit in water. Over time and repeated use they developed a nice patina. Also included is one antique wooden masher. The handle was broken off long ago and has been worn smooth from years of use The masher measures 9 1/2" long and 2 1/2" across the base. Also included is an antique wooden rolling pin All one solid piece and has had the same mineral oil treatment as my spoons. This rolling pin measures 15" long and 2" wide. Also included ... moreis one black distressed vintage wooden scoop. I love filling these scoops with old letter type. Antique clothes pins, potpourri, small pine cones.ect. I think he's serious. He's a big time gardener and orders lots of seeds each year. 23 inches long by 13 1/2 across by about 3 1/2 inches high. There are 24 compartments(each about 3 1/2 by 3 inches) and I took one photo with a packet of seeds to show that seed packets really do fit! This is brand new but heavily antiqued and each one is going to look just a little different than the other as far as the antiquing goes. Front of box is just slightly beveled. Has a paper insert inside front cover. Outside is rather plain with just"Genuine Garden" and Lakeshore Seed Co Dunkirk NY. Antique 1918 Racing Bastide Bicycle No Badge W/ Fairbanks-Boston Wood Wheels
Antique 1918 Racing Bicycle Unknown Brand W/ Fairbanks-Boston Wood Wheels RARE. It has just been made known to me that this is a Bastide. These almost never come up for sale. The only one I could find was through a forum and they wanted $5.000 for it a month ago. The pedals do not appear to be original. The words"EGG T BERGH L NELLY" are stamped on them. More of the fittings and parts are BSA fitted. The wooden wheels were made by Fairbanks Boston. The logo is quite faded, but I could still make out the name. You have noticed on the front forks and handle bars what appears to be a duct tape residue. You would be correct in your thinking. I didn't do that, but the person that I'm selling it for is the guilty party. It's quite old and quite hard, but I'm sure that it can be removed. This bike was purchased through ... moreHemmings about thirty years ago. The woman selling it said that it belonged to her husband who used it for racing in 1918. The general style and assembly appears to match that date. Aside from a couple of missing nuts. It appears to be all here. The leather seat has the initials TSM on the underside and"Speedic" on the side. I have no idea what is original to this bike, what has been modified for racing purposes, and what has been replaced. The gears appear to have a skip tooth design, but it almost looks like it was modified to be like that. I can also assure from experience that a thirty foot ride in front of my house hurts like hell! That could be from a number of factors. Such as the fact that I'm too short for it, or possibly because I hadn't been on a bicycle in five years. Take your pick. From what I have also seen. There are no brakes. Each wheel has 36 spokes. The front gear has 24 teeth, and the rear has 8 teeth. This is a fantastic platform for a restoration. The only rust is surface. Antique 19th Century Wood& Iron Game Utensil Rack Folk Art Primitive Hex Signs Description: A Superb Early 19th Century Folk Art Carved Wooden Game Rack with Iron Hooks! Three Day Auction with No Reserve! Splendid piece of Americana from the Pennsylvania region dating circa 1820-40. A piece such as this was known as a"game rack" as game hung from the various iron hooks. Be it small game having been trapped or hunted. Or perhaps fowl from the farm or marketplace. No matter what was for the pot it would have been hung on one of these wrought iron hooks before it was dressed by a period cook. One of the most charming attributes of this particular rack is the three handcarved hex stars. Hex signs were a popular motif of the Pennsylvania German culture. Often appearing on the sides of barns, on frakturs, etc. Lovely old coat of green ... morepaint over what appears to be an old red/salmon color stain. The paint has flakes at some areas from age giving forth a great primitive appeal. You can see in the photographs the left corner has some more flaking than other spots. As you can see there are two rows of blacksmith made wrought iron hooks. From age there is some oxidation to them(as seen in photographs) Would clean if needed, though we've had it displayed in our home as she is, which is a great country appeal. Today game racks make perfect ways in which to hold and display period hearth articles. Especially those with hanging loops including tasting spoons and other blacksmith made utensils. The piece would also serve to compliment any other pieces in a country home, from dried herbs to molded candle pairs etc. I can't be exactly sure of the wood grain. Antique Quilt - Beautiful 1800's fabrics
I am selling my antique quilt! And it is lovely! It looks great on a bed. There are so many fabrics in it. One could stare at it for hours. The fabrics are from the 1800's. Lots of wonderful shirtings. a favorite of mine! and straight line quilting. The tumbling block design was all hand pieced. They measure 3" from corner to corner and 2 3/4" across the middle. The batting is cotton and quite thin. Someone put a purple binding over the original binding. In the last picture. You can see that it is not the original binding. It measures approximately 79" x 73" There are a few worn spots. A couple spots on the back. But a beautiful quilt, good for fabric study. Ask any questions! Thank you.

Tub is lightly marked in the outside"Prima" see photo#12) Tub has one scrape of the enamel on the outside. Inside of tub is stained or else dirty. Overall machine is about 48 inches tall and 27 inches wide. The ringer rotates 360 degrees and has several lock and hold positions. The legs are good and sound. The rollers/castors on bottom of legs are froze up. I did not test it for operation. There is no electric motor on it which would mount near the floor. 18th C. Pennsylvania German Dutch Box Large Hand Painted Decoration Antique Description. Vintage | old | early | original antique wood | wooden Pennsylvania German | Dutch box with a perfect fitting lid. It is very rare for five reasons: 1) the age. 2) the large size, 3) the hand painted decoration on the front. 4) being round opposed to oval, and 5) the excellent condition. It came from an old estate(farm house) in Pennsylvania. Measures 15" diameter by 11-1/4" tall/high. Approx. the size of a hat box or bonnet box. Might be called a band box[ There are willow or"withe" band or rope made of twisted twigs or stems) reeds that hold it together. Original cherry-ish color paint. The true color is in the main(top) photo. There is a striped black border around the painting on the front. I'm not quite sure what the decoration ... moreis. So I intentionally inverted the color on a couple of photos. Hoping to make it easier for you to make it out. Please use your own judgment of what it is. It also looks to be signed(carved) in the lower left corner of the painting area. But that is also hard to make out, IF it is a signature. Maybe initials- hard to say. Everything is 100% original. With excellent construction, and serves as a historical example. CONDITION: It has some minor scuffs from use over the years and a thin split? across the top of the lid but nothing major. Old Antique E. G. Zimmermann, Hanau, Cast Iron Candle holders, w Dog Decoratives
Here's a very interesting pair of old or antique cast iron candle holder with interesting decoration we received recently. These have markings E. G. Zimmermann on the back and some numbering that might help age date them. They were made in Germany. They are likely from the mid late 19th century or possibly early 20th century. These feature the addition of a pair of dog decoratives to each candle holder as we show in the pictures. These are attached by the use of a nut on the backside. While they are very very dark in color the nice details and shapes imply they are probably cast brass or bronze. You will note by the appearance of the ears that two different dog castings were used in the manufacturing process. Dog people may even be able to guess the breeds to some degree from the details. You can see a little greening around one of them ... morein the pictures. They have nice handles so they could be used when walking around at night in a dark house. The condition of these requires a little detailing. One of these candleholders is very nice in every way. The other has two issues to note. First. The second candle holder is missing the candle ring insert piece with the drip lip. These are simple drop in type pieces and we show the one present in a picture by itself for reference purposes. The second candle holder has been dropped or flexed at one time or another and tilts downward on the right side when looking from the front. We show this in the pictures and it appears that adjustment would be most safely address by removing the base from the main casting first. One of these candleholder alone would be nice but a matched pair should be possible with a little cleverness or handyman attention on the decorative use appearance solutions. The pieces could use a little light cleanup to look their best. Each of these is about 8 inches long. 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. Nice! That's about it. VERY OLD TOLEWARE 6 CAN SPICE SET IN METAL CARRYING CASE FROM G.H. WILKINSON DRUGGIST& CHEMIST OF MOORESTOWN. NEW JERSEY This is an old Toleware Complete Spice Can Set in the Metal Case and it probably dates to around the 1870's or so. The label inside the top lid of the case attributes this spice set to G.H. Wilkinson. Ph. G. Druggist and Chemist from Moorestown, NJ. The 6 round cans inside the case are all hand-soldered tin and have that black paint associated with Toleware on them. The tops have the names of the spices inside but they are getting hard to read. Complete sets like these are getting harder to find nowadays and make great collector's items. This set is in good shape overall for their age with just minor natural wear present. Please see pictures for design detail and condition reference. Cans measure about 3 and ... more1/4" tall each by 3" in diameter. The latching case measures 9 and 1/4" wide by 4" tall by 6.5" thick.
