Today we have up for auction a cast iron topper for a Parlor Wood Stove. Hubby is cleaning out the garage and this has been in there many years! This topper is ornate with a Fleur-de-le design. The numbers on the back are 376 although there may be another number or letter in front of the 376. We could not find any other examples like this, and are not even positive what it was originally designed for. It sure looks like a Victorian parlor stove shelf to us. It measures 21 1/2 inches long by 6 inches depe by just under an inch tall. Up for sale is a great fresh find from an old Estate. This is a" COX WHITEMAN CO. Philadelphia. PA. Circa 1866. Antique cast iron parlor wood stove. The fire box measures 21 inches L x 16 inches H. x 9 inches W, this is just the inside of the fire box, the chimney exchaust is 5 inches in Dia. Everything is in working condition ready to go. The legs are missing but I still might find them in the building. It could be set on four bricks until something is found or made. The orginal legs slide on just like the old claw foot bathtubs are made. Like a wedge. Even a piece of hard wood would work. These bring good money as collectible stoves even without the feet. The stove had some minor surface rust so it was clean off and painted with Rust O Leum Hight Heat resistant paint. Looks great. Questions welcome. Thanks for looking and good luck.

Vintage Antique Quick Meal Wood Coal Cook Stove w/ Copper Water Tank Heater
Antique Quick Meal Wood Coal Cook Stove with Copper Water Tank Fellow eBayers, Offered for bid is an antique wood/coal burning stove manufactured by the Quick Meal Stove Co. Div of the American Stove co. This stove is model#9035-34 serial#3367. History; The exact age of the stove is unknown. This stove was already in my grandmothers house when they moved here in 1938. Sometime within the next 10 years it was replaced by a wood/coal/gas cook stove. It was moved to the"woodshed" attached to the house and has been there since. At least 60 years. Condition; The photos tell the condition well. Once the first 50 years of grim came off I was surprised to find it in fair condition. There is a fair amount of surface rust but also a lot more enamel than expected. The only area rusted though was in the fire box. All the pieces appear present ... moreincluding the lid handle and grate shaker. The grates are stuck and will need to be unfrozen. I didn't try hard to get them to move. There was a cast piece in the firebox resting on the grates that did not seem like it belonged there but its going with stove anyway. One of the big surprises was to find the copper water heater tank in good condition. It held water for 2 days without a leak. The stove looks to be usable as is but should be an excellent candidate for restoration. Shipping will be best way. Total est weight 400# or more. Local pickup is also welcome. Old Monarch Model 324 wood stove made by the Malleable Iron Range Company in Beaver Dam. Wisconson. This is a heavy ornate stove. It has been inside a hunting cabin in North Central Pennsylvania for many years and was used right up until the time the cabin was abandoned. It has been protected from the elements, but it has surface rust and the sheet metal on the right side of the oven is rusted through in two small places. The water jacket inside the left side of the stove appears to be ruptured as shown in the last picture. There is a galvanized sheet metal panel secured with screws on the right side of the stove; it appears to be all original except for this and the stove pipe.
