Vintage Mid Century Vintage Viking Orange Glass Ashtray
This is an absolutely stunning vintage mid century art glass ashtray. It is quite large. A little over 6" in diameter and quite heavy. It has a hobnail pattern around the edges and is a deep orange color. Although unmarked, this is very similar to some of the Viking pieces that I have. In very good condition, with no cracks or chips, it does have a minor stray scratch. Otherwise quite lovely.

A handsome Solid Silver(925) Salt in the form of a Viking Longboat Made by Theodor Olsen Eftf of Bergen. His maker's Mark is Clearly Struck and would date the item at around 1925. The Longboat is 8.5cm long- dragon snout to snout- and is 4.5cm tall and 3cm wide. It weighs 34 grams in total. The Silver case weighs 17 grams. Decorated with five shields on either side. It has a gilded interior and a blue glass liner. Condition is first class- without any damage to silver or glass. Marked'925 S. SILVER Norway' and distinctive Maker's mark- all clearly struck. WWII GERMAN VIKING RING - NICE
This is an WWII VIKING HEAD RING formerly worn by elite units. It represents the symbols of the 5th Panzergranadier Wiking Division. The Division was comprised of SS volunteers of Dutch and Scandinavian(Aryan) decent. I take a ring size 12 and this ring is about two or three sizes larger. The ring was very tarnished when I got it so I swabbed it lightly with a silver polish and brought it to the finish you see. It is a nice ring that is not damaged in any way and only shows minor wear. The ring is complete. It contains German manufacturing stamps and is one of several different kinds that were obtained from the estate of a WWII Veteran. Don't miss out on this elite ring. 1973 Hagstrom Viking Electric Guitar Beautiful
Up for auction is this VERY nice 1973 Hagstrom Viking Series Guitar of which I think 250 were built in this production run from 1973(correct me if I am wrong please) These guitars were produced in Sweden and mimicked the more exspensive Gibson guitars and they did a great job of it! This guitar has beautiful color with only a few slight scratches to the enamel but overal is in excellent condition. There is one screw missing by the Hagstrom plastic plate near the strings but is easy to replace. Just thought I should mention it. The case is a 1970's original Gibson 5 latch guitar case with red liner that cradles this guitar perfectly as if it were made for it. This rare trefoil brooch is a replica of 9th century Viking era artifact. It was exquisitely reproduced by the famous David Andersen of Norway company in early 1960s. Each arm is decorated in Borre style with a head of a"beastie" Brooches of this type. Originally adapted from Frankish sword fittings. Were popular adornments for Vikings, worn as a clothes fastener or cloak pin. The form of the trefoil brooch originated with Carolingian sword belt fittings. Which were obtained in raid or trade by the Vikings. Initially, these pieces were simply converted into brooches, and later the style was replicated by the Viking metal smiths. Often a perforated lug was added on the back for use with a chain. By the 9th century, they spread widely through the Viking World. The pattern is one of the mask pattern from the 1870's. The book American Silver Plate by Dorothy and Ivan Rainwater feature the pattern on page 107 Webster Mfg. Company as producing the pattern in 1876. The ornate design is exceptional. The feet are the viking heads and the base of the handle is the head of a ram. This is a good example of unrelated ornamentation from the 70's. The coffee pot is in good condition with the exception that someone has replaced the cover with one not made for the pot. It fits but not a perfect fit as shown in the pictures. Please look at all the pictures before bidding. The coffee pot stands about ... more10.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide from handle to spout. I can guarantee that the silver paint you see on this 19 th century Fireman’s Axe is original. In the close-up photograph you will see a maker’s stamp of the letter A with the&sign inside the A. Underneath are two other letters. One which I believe is and S. This authentic“Viking Style” Fireman’s Axe is in original untouched condition. The 13 ¾” long by 8 ¾” wide axe head is typical, but the oak handle is unique. Still retaining the original black paint this hand measures 31 ¾” long. Just above the butt of the handle are hand carved finger grips. Next is a band of carved rings above that is a raised carved monogram that looks like PY or YP. Plate 317. That one is listed as unmarked and is said to be scarce. Both of my pieces have the maker's hallmark. Each piece has the marking of the MA intertwined which is the hallmark for Magus Aase of Bergen, Norway. They are also marked 830 S. This was used from 1876-1953 when the firm was acquired by T. Olsens Eftf. The pepper has additional markings of N M(Norsk Monster) indication of design or copyright and the number 847. It also has the letter N. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The set consist of the Viking long boat salt cellar and the Cornucopia shaped pepper. The salt boat appears to be floating on a bed of waves. There is a lot of in-depth detailing to this piece. The waves appear to come alive. It is the same on the front as well as the back.
