AAFA Victorian Miniature Collar Box with American Indian Engraving,1860s,Labels
Here is a beautiful and unusual little collar box for your Victorian or sewing collection. Dating to the 1860s. It measures only 3.25 inches in diameter and 1.75 inches in height and has a bright green glazed paper sides and top. The dark blue with gold trim label states, Massasoit Colla(r torn off) Persigny. Massasoit was an Indian leader, who I believe Massachusetts was named after. There is a wonderful steel engraving on the lid of an Indian with a tobacco leave flag(I think! There have been German text paper repairs to hold the lid together where it separated- three paper tabs that are quite sufficient due to the rag content of the old paper. The old paper label on the bottom has slipped in position, but holds a wealth of information on the'Union' collar company of New York with patent dates from 1854 to 1866. There was some old ... moremourning trim inside the box that will be included. I'm guessing these collars were for wrists or lace, due to the tiny size.

On offer is this antique Victorian glass& brass breast pump by Maws& Sons. It is complete with it's original fitted mahogany box. The whole thing screws together very well& all the parts appear to be present. The whole thing is in very good uncleaned all original antique condition, it is just as it came to me from a house call, i have not even removed the cotton wool(everywhere) used to buffer the glass section& the mahogany box is complete with dust. The box measures 12cm sq& 8cm tall& is in good uncleaned condition. It just has a little gaping at the back between the base board& between the lid(see photo) it's nothing major. This listing is for an Antique Chatelaine memo pad which is stamped Canada and Vimy on the front. It is not hallmarked so I'm unsure whether it is silver although it looks like silver. There is a place for a pencil. Please examine the photos for condition. It weighs 16 gms. and measures 6.1cms without the loop and is 3.2cms wide. The memo pad has browned with age. Victorian 1894 Chester H'm Sterling Silver Gilt Business or Calling Card Case
Victorian 1894 Chester Hallmarked Sterling Silver Gilt Hinged Top Business or Calling Card Case This Antique Card Case measures approximately 3 3/ 8 inches or 8 6 mm across the total length of its body from the hinge to the front catch on the lid by just over 1 3/ 4 inches or 4 6 mm across its width from the top of the lid to the bottom of its body and it is just under 3/8 of an inch or 8 mm deep from back to front. The card case is made from sterling silver that has been internally gilded or gold plated in a simple curved rectangular shape and it has a three section piano hinge on the back of its lid that has a shaped thumb or finger catch on the front edge for ease of opening. The card case has been engraved on the front with a previous owners initials DP or PD over the date 1896 all as photographed below and the upper left corner of the ... morelid along with the internal upper rim of the body have been impressed with matching English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, W.N- Lion Passant- Three Wheat Sheaves- L W.N is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of William Neale& Son. The Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver, the Three Wheat Sheaves is the mark of the Chester assay office and the letter L is the date letter for 1 894. The rarity of this calling card case is in the fact that it has been impressed with a Chester hallmark. The Chester assay office was closed in August 1962 and pieces that bear this mark have become harder to find as they are more desirable to the serious collector. The condition is used and Excellent for its age. The card case has No Large Dents. No Splits. No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the case is straight, the definition is very crisp, the hinge is working perfectly, the lid opens with ease and closes tightly shut as it should, the internal gilding is a good colour with only minimal wear, the silver hallmarks are still clearly legible although as the card case is a used antique it does have the odd very small shallow de

Untitled Document I have no first hand knowledge of age or provenience, But I know she bought these from retail antique dealers in the 1970s. This is a classic Victorian. Scottish sugar shaker. I don't know anything about the British hallmark system. There are 4 hallmarks. The middle two of which are polished into oblivion. The final"J" is the date mark. Study the illustrations carefully. As all items are sold AS IS. There is no reserve and everything starts at $5.00 an item. I don't know if the piece is Sterling. victorian pink glass bridal basket Spectacular
Spectacular victorian art glass bridal basket. Deep pink edge moving to a white center. The edges have big folds which remind me of a trumpet flower somewhat. There are no markings on the handle so I am not sure what the composition of the metal is. It has an aged look to it but the bottom still retains the mirrory reflective quality. There is 2 small white spots in the pink from the production but there is so much reflection from light sources they are not overly noticeable. The bowl is 10.25 inch wide and 3 inch tall. Marked: A.S. 781 on inner arm(perhaps Art Specialty Co. 37"L x 24"H x 15"W(Seat is 12½" off ground) This could have been used in a patio. Garden, or indoors by a piano. Beautiful Victorian/Deco design with spiraling intricate framework. Bench is made from a very old slab of pine(or at least looks like pine) The fabric has also been on there a long time and is aged as you can see. The buyer can choose to reupholster the piece. Bolts are modern however. Having been replaced at some point. Bench is in excellent condition. Wood stool and arms are very old but still firm. Bench will be shipped UNASSEMBLED. Up for your consideration is this lovely five arm. Flush mount light fixture. Most likel y d ating from the late teens to 1920s. It has a beautiful floral and flo wer basket pattern. The light fixture has never been repainted but has ceiling paint residue and chips to the original finish. The ar ms and bobeches are intact a nd not broken. It is NOT useable as a light fixture as is. But needs rewiring. This beautiful fix ture is big. Measuring 18" from arm to arm. It will be stunning when restored and mounted. I like to say that the fixtures in my home are my"house jewelry" and. Boy, this one really fits that description! It has holes designed to mount crystal or colored glass drops on each arm. This prattware? pot lid was made in the mid Victorian period. And is titled but not shown on lid The Blue Boy. The picture is taken from a Thomas Gainsborough painting of Master Jonathon Butall. It is in good condition to the front where it matters, with some minor scratches to surface, with no glaze crazing, the reverse is also in good condition, with no chips or cracks, as shown. GOOD VICTORIAN ANTIQUE SOAPSTONE PEDESTAL BOWL - NO RESERVE
This gorgeous Victorian soapstone pedestal bowl dates from around 1880. It has four holes around the side rim that may be for hanging. The condition is good and original however there are a few tiny chips that are hard to see. The outer diameter of this fine bowl is 18 cm and the height is 11 cm. The lovely golden colour and veining through this bowl give it a very decorative appeal. Please study the photographs as these form part of the item description. Antique Victorian HRS&Co Imari/Gaudy Welsh Floral Lustre&Gold Serving Bowl&Spoon
Here is a beautiful antique Gaudy Welsh serving bowl with matching serving spoon. Guessing circa 1890- 1910. It has an orange-brown& cobalt blue floral lustre design with gold gilt accents. It is in very good condition and I can find no flaws on it. I will include a matching serving fork with a broken handle. The bottom of the bowl has the red hallmark of H.R.S. Co. The spoon and fork also have the same hallmark stamped on them. The bowl measures 9.5" wide. Stands 4" tall and weighs over 3.5 pounds. Gaudy is the name of a Welsh pattern"Antique Imari decorated earthenware" which was mostly made in England. This lovely caddy has been displayed in our smoke free home for over 20 years.
