A 20 inch super sweet slightly suriage one hole mumei wakizashi. Has a brilliant hamon and reminds me of Koto Kane Fusa. Although I have heard it looks like Enju school. Could be. Not sure. Wildly flaring but clean hamon and includes tobiyaki. Has a nice Namban Tetsu Katana sized tsuba in great shape. Hand guard size is 3" by 2 3/4" Habaki is a flawless silver foil with custom rain pattern Sword has 2 small chips one at habaki and one about 9 inches below the point. Some staining near the point but should clean up easily. There is some minor pitting near the mono uchi. The width at the hamachi is 1 1/4 inches and 3/4 inches at the yokote. Very pleasing shape. Looks like a short katana. This sword has a lot of potential. Thanks for looking.

Japan Fuchi-Kashira Tsuba Sword Parts w Raised Relief Dragon / Edo no Yoto
I have here another old Japan Samurai sword parts found in an old Leavenworth Kansas estate. These parts from doing a little research are called Fuchi-Kashira. When found these parts had an old paper label attached marked. Maker: Edo no Yoto Age: 200 Old. This estate had incredible items and some had been researched and I think this is the case with these sword parts. These sword parts are probably bronze finished copper with a gold metal around the opening. There is a raised relief dragon on the butt piece and a dragon going around the hilt piece. The dragon has gold eyes. I have not tested the metal for gold contents so I am offering these pieces as gold plated or filled. I took several pics to show the workmanship and quality of these pieces. The butt end piece measures 11/16" wide, 1 5/16" long and just a little over 5/16" ... morefront to back. There is a sleeve inside both sides that is a gold tone metal with some tarnish. The opening that the sword blade goes through measures 1 3/16" long and 5/16" wide and is tapered. For the age I will say the condition is good. The butt piece may have a little bending but that may be in the design. It is not bad. JAPANESE TSUBA-MINO SCHOOL-SHAKUDO/GOLD, NOT A CHINESE REPRO
I am offering an excellent quality Mino-bori tsuba. This late-17th to early-18th Century sword guard is made of shakudo with gold highlights. The plate has a nanako base and is carved on both sides with a floral design; around the edge of the guard are four dragons carved in relief. The hitsu-ana are bordered with gold and a nanako design. The color of the shakudo is excellent and the guard is in very good condition. The tsuba measures about 2.5 inches high and 2.25 inches wide and it is 5mm thick at the rim. This is a pleasing tsuba that would look great mounted on a sword or in a collection of soft metal guards. I accept PayPal. Upon receipt of payment I will ship the tsuba via Priority U.S. Mail.
