There's an'X' and'G' stamped on the jet. G' for gasoline. The stove is stamp'MSR FIREFLY' on the connector where the very narrow fuel tube goes in to the stove. Belgium Coal Kitchen Stove Porcelain w.Handpainted Florals - Converted to Gas
I bought this sweet little Belgium stove 30 years ago and have not seen one like it since. It measures roughly 38" wide X 26" Deep X 37" Tall. It was originally a coal burning stove but we retrofited it to burn propane gas. Some of the enamel is missing on the front but I never found that to be a distraction. I hate to part with it. But we are downsizing and it needs a new home. This is strictly a pickup only or you can arrange for shipping. I can't tell you exactly how much it weighs but needless to say it's heavy! We are located 180 miles north of San Francisco and 80 miles from Sacramento. Questions are welcome! I do have a professional appraisal on the stove at $550. These were a parlor stove accessory that you would use in place of the standard top finial during heating season. You would then fill it with water and it worked as a humidifier when the stove was being used) This hard to find item is in great antique used condition for it's age. The cast iron part is very ornate with nicely embossed detail. It is perfect with no cracks. No rust, no damage, no repairs. The brass reservoir is also very nice with only some"very minor" dings from the back side. The brass fluted base has no damage. Overall this item measures 10" high. 8 3/4" wide. Nicely refinshished Kenmore stove by the Sears. Roebuck Company. The heater has been disassemeled and sanded, then refinished in high heat metallic black profefessional stove paint. The globe is in great shape although it does have a couple of bubbles in the glass that would have come from the manufacturer. The original font was in poor condition and has been replaced with a fully functional perfection font. Coleman 508 portable camping cook stove dated 6/87 with plastic case
For auction is an old Coleman portable camping stove. Model 508. It is very clean, looks almost new except for light wear on the bottom and on the bottom of the plastic case. It is from the 1980s, and has"6/87" stamped on it in various places. I worked the pump and lit it up, it seems to work but the flame kept going out- most likely because it has almost no fuel in it.The instruction sheet is missing but there are lighting instructions printed on the label. Very nice item, always kept indoors(in the garage) so no sign of rust or other damage. I believe from my research these were used on railroad dining cars and were also used for elegant parties as food warmers or coffee and tea cookers but you be the judge. This one come to you in nice collectable condition it has some light oxidation to the nickel or chrome finish and some stains under the burner but other than that I see no other damage or cracks. I'm not sure if this still works but the knob turns freely, I believe these ran on alcohol. This is marked on the bottom Manning and Bowman Co. Patent Pending Meriden, Conn. You are looking at my Primus No 96 paraffin camping/fishing stove. The stove is in very good condition in fact looks to me to have had little use.some surface rust to tin] In good working order. Complete with meths bottle. Spanner, wind break, prickers and the original paper instructions! A nice looking stove! What you see is what you get so please check very carefully.
