You are looking at a vintage solid cherry serving table by Leopold Stickley. This is such a fabulous piece and so useful. The table expands and the tray ... morefits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. I am very sad these do not fit in my home. If you have any questions be sure and ask. This is for pick up only in Faribault, Mn. which is just south of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Thanks for looking!

GUSTAV STICKLEY CRAFTSMAN WORKSHOP ARTS & CRAFTS MISSION FURNITURE & INTERIORS
What is Wrought in The Craftsman Workshops” Published by Turn of the Century Editions in 1997. DISCUSSION: First published by Gustav Stickley in 1904. This is a rare and important contemporary explanation of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. This facsimile was originally produced by John Crosby Freeman of the American Life Foundation in 1982. The text by Gustav Stickley sets forth his philosophy of art, architecture, and interior design and decoration, enabling a greater understanding of the man and his life’s work. The influence of Harvey Ellis on Gustav Stickley’s early works can be seen in many of the furniture sketches and room schemes. This book is a primary source and a must-have reference for serious students of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 6”x9” 92 pages, black& white illustrations. And I must say that from top to bottom, it is an outstanding job. Thanks! I really never considered"repro" items to compliment my collection of early Gus pieces until I saw some of your morris chairs on eBay and could see the quality of your work. After having you work on the 2612 Armchair, I first have to say that it is unfair to call your work"reproduction" it is extremely well made, high quality work done by a very talented individual artisan. It appeals to me in the same way as work done 100 years ago which embraced the same design philosophy. I also commend you on your level of professionalism during the process. I know I was very picky and particular about each step and you did a

GUSTAV STICKLEY CRAFTSMAN HOUSES - Mission Style Details, Interiors &c
Craftsman Houses. A book for Home-Makers. Published by Turn of the Century Editions in 2010. DISCUSSION: Not to be confused with Gustav Stickley's two other books. Craftsman Homes and More Craftsman Homes, this book is Stickley's well-illustrated 1913 catalogue offering his company's real estate services to subscribers of The Craftsman magazine. The book describes the architectural, real estate(buying and selling) and agricultural and landscape services offered and provides a number of floorplans for houses and bungalows. There are also illustrative photos of the interiors and exteriors of houses that Gustav Stickley's company built from Craftsman plans. However, the real value of this book comes from the several chapters devoted to articulating the Craftsman philosophy behind the various elements of a Craftsman house. Thus ... morethere are separate chapters on the door, the vestibule, the hall, the staircase, the living room, the Craftsman fireplace, porches, sun rooms and balconies, windows, the exterior, and the Craftsman garden-in short, everything you need to know to plan a true Craftsman home. This is must reading for architects, contractors, and anyone planning to build or remodel a Craftsman house” DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 8”x10” 62 pages, black& white illustrations. RARE GUSTAV STICKLEY cross brace foot stool, signed w/Original finish
A rare opportunity for you to own a Gustav Stickley crossed stretcher foot stool. With original finish. It has a few surface scratches, as should be expected of a piece this old. There's a couple of shallow splits in the wood grain, neither more than 1/8" deep, or having any affect on the structural stability or strength of the stool. This stool is very heavy, quarter sawn oak. It measures approx. 20" long, 17" wide and 16 3/4" high. Three of the stretchers are secured on the bottom with bronze or brass slotted screws. One of them appears to have a replacement phillip's head screw. All the joints are very tight, no looseness or wobble. The stool is marked on the inside, upper portion of one of the legs, with Gustav Stickley's Red compass and signature. The photos are faint, but it's diificult to photograph ... morea red stamp on the dark oak finish. I've put a fresh coat of Fidde's paste wax on the stool, so it may look a little shiney. This will be shipped in the USA only, fully insured, carfeully wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed.

RARE GUSTAV STICKLEY CHEST OF DRAWERS - Custom Made Piece - Early Signature
Very rare Gustav Stickley piece. It appears to have been custom made.either for a customer. For the Stickley shop or for the personal use of the Stickleys themselves.because it does not appear in any of the books. It is most likely one-of-a-kind. Signature indicates it was made in 1905-1912. I have had this item in my collection for 30 years. I purchased it at an antique store in Woodstock. NY. Measures 19" wide. 14.5" tall, and 14" deep. It's meant to sit on a table, I think, and the drawer separations indicate that it could have been used for silverware, or maybe tools. I've had it all these years and have not been able to find out any information about it. A clue may be the shallow top drawer, which has the#3 stenciled on it, another clue may be the hole in the drawer below it. Original finish. VERY heavy. Probably ... moreabout 30 pounds. It is in excellent condition. The back panel has splintered: see pic. Otherwise no damage or wear. MUST SELL. Because I have no idea what it's worth. I will take the highest offer, so don't be put off by the price. Please be patient about shipping as I will have to find someone to box and ship it properly. Shipping price to be determined.I will charge exactly what it costs to ship. I took photos with and without flash. Please contact me for more photos or with any questions.

Stickley One Of A Kind Cigarette Pack & Matches Dispenser SEE DESCRIPTION
I had no information on this piece.Nor a clue what it was so I made an appointment with an expert at the Stickley Museum in Manlius NY.He told me it was not a production piece,it's a one of a kind made by a Stickley factory worker. The brand on the back was used in the 1930's-1940's and was changed in the early 50's.He also said the workers did not have access to the branding tool so it must have been for someone in management,a worker would have lost his job taking some thing branded. He also said Mr. Stickley would have unique pieces made for Christmas gifts for special people. He had no clue what it's function was nor did anyone until I was talking to a woman at the museum who thought it might fit large and small books of matches.I took it home and and found cigarettes and matches fit.I can only assume that is it's ... morepurpose. It is 13 1/4" high,8" wide and 3" deep and is in perfect condition except for one tiny crack on the bottom of match side which appears to have been repaired though I was also told many of these types of pieces were made from scraps. Whatever it is. It's a beautiful piece and have found no evidence of another anywhere! I don't know what shipping will cost.Just want it insured and delivery confirmed. As always any unused shipping cost is always refunded!

Pair of Japanese wicker painted Silk lamp shades Gustav Stickley lamp
This pair of Japanese wicker and hand painted silk lined shades came on a Gustav Stickley copper lamp I had. And sold about 10 years ago. I'd packed the piece up for a move, and never found the shades, so I sold the lamp without them. Well, I'm moving again, and just found these shades in a box in my garage. The shades are about 4 1/2 inches tall, and about 5 3/4 wide at the base(widest part) of the shade. The silk is pretty thin, has a few holes here and there, but is in pretty amazing shape for the age. I can't say with absolute certainty that these are original to the lamp, but I can say they were on it when I bought it, and they are certainly VERY old. There was a"made in japan" small paper lable in the tissue paper, when I unwrapped them. It fell apart when I tried to peel it from the paper. Stickley's wicker ... moreshades were Japanese. They will be carefull wrapped and protected for shipment. Sold as-is, as shown in the photos.

Stickley Dining Room Table Leaves 54 Inches
We are selling a great pair of table leaves. They were from an L& JG Stickley 54 inch dining table. They are about 53 13/16 inches long. About 11 1/16 wide and about 15/16th of and inch thick, just under an inch. These would be very good for a table that has no leaves or to add to ones you may already have. They have good color, grain and are made of thinner pieces of wood glued together. These are from an estate that had many oak pieces but the table was sadly already gone. They forgot about these in a closet and didn't find them until later. Please know that they are not going to be signed but they are numbered 11 for the width of each leaf. See the table levelers from the same table on my other listing. Please feel free to ask any questions up front as all sales are final.

Hand Laced Upholstery Cushions - a Gustav Stickley Reproduction - Morris Chair
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: This auction is for the labor of creating a set of Morris chair cushions. If you are looking to re-upholster your original or contemporary Stickley chair. Then this would be a good option for you. With 14 years of experience in creating reproduction Arts and Crafts period furnishings I'm now offering these hand laced upholstery cushions for your already existing chairs. This is a great opportunity to have your chair upholstered the same way Stickley upholstered his original works. Order Information: Leather- Either supply a hide or select leather from my leather samples at cost price. Samples are mailed out for you to select the color in person. If you would like to supply your own hide. A 45- 50 sqft leather hide is enough for the average size chair, 24" x 24" seat cushion and 22" x 26" backrest ... morecushion. Leather hides vary in cost, from $100 to $350 depending on the quality of the leather. I prefer using a naked type leather that is $6.50/sqft. Naked leather is leather that has been dyed, with no other finishes applied. Naked leather is more expensive, because they use a higher grade of leather with few blemishes. This leather comes from a tannery in Italy, I buy it at a wholesale price from their sister company in the USA. Foam- The cost of foam depends on the size of your cushions. On average you are looking at $120 for foam and other supplies needed to make the cushions. Shipping- Shipping is by FedEx and on average cost $65 depending on where you live. Seat Support Frames- I offer seat support frames if you require one. This will even work if you have a spring type seat and would like to switch to a loose cushion. A roped seat support frame is $165 and a caned seat support frame is $245. Please email me with any questions. Once your order is placed. I will explain to you how to measure your chair so I can make the cushions accordingly. I look forward to working with you. Best Regards. Kevin Creedy. Stickley chair 1900s Early Rare 4068 1/2
Up for Auction is a very rare and early Stickley Brothers of Grand Rapids Chair. It has an interesting cutout in the back. It has engraved Stickley Bros. Co Grand Rapids and number 4068 1/2. The Stickley Brothers Museum stated that it was from the Quaint line however it doesnt have the quaint signature mark which leads me to believe its early 1900s. With any chair or item of this age there is typical wear to the chair as the pictures show. I didn't want to touch it with any cleaning or polish as I know many like to have it as is. There are wear and scratch marks on chair. The screws are the old kind as you can tell. I've never seen a Stickley Brothers Chair of this style. I've searched past auction results for the last 10 years and not one shows up with this style. Don't let this great chair get away from you. Local pickup ... moreis available at my heated warehouse. I'm more than happy to be available for your shipper to pick up. If you need a couple weeks to get the best rates for shipping I'm flexible so I can keep chair at warehouse for couple weeks. I'm more than happy to drop off chair at shipping site as well. I just don't want to pack the item. Posted with
Rare Gustav Stickley Pencil Post Settle #222, c.1907, Arts Crafts Mission Era
You are bidding on an original Gustav Stickley"pencil post" settle. 222. This rare and highly sought after example has seldom surfaced in the past few decades. The settle is signed with the Craftsman paper label on the inside lower right stretcher, and is clearly pictured in various Gustav Stickley catalogues, including the one pictured here. The 222 may be the most eloquent form of settle that Gustav Stickley produced. He made in in a shorter and longer form-this one is the far more desirable long version. The 222 is a singularly comfortable arts and crafts era settle that unlike so many such forms has unusual depth and overall ergonomic design features. Graceful and proportional. The 222 features tapered pencil posts with rounded pyramidal crowns that rise above an elongated even arm carriage. This horizontal appearance is accentuated ... moreby 22 narrow back slats and eight side slats to each side, all mortised at a slight enveloping cant. Rounded mouldings at once soften and thicken the tops of the upper stretchers. A single rail mounted boxed spring leather seat cushion spans the length of the settle, with two matching square pillows as accents. It is the epitome of the principles of simplicity, honesty, and subtle design that marked the arts and crafts movement. This settle was constructed of big. Old growth quartersawn white oak, with superb selections and tight grains exhibited throughout. Such trees no longer exist. Over 100 years of drying has lightened what must originally have been a very heavy frame. The finish is a beautiful medium brown fumed oak color that resonates orange/yellow hues in the sap wood veins of the quartersawing. Fine and durable mortise, tenon, and pin joinery make this an extremely solid piece of furniture. The original spring cushion is extremely heavy, with a hardwood box framing a field of springs that are attached to strong steel struts beneath. The cushion sits on two rails front and rear, that have countersunk screw holes on their lower sides for attaching the cushion to

Stickley Brothers Quaint Furniture Catalog Reprint
The condition is: New. Grand Rapids. Michigan was a furniture manufacturing center long before George and Albert Stickley moved there in 1891. Antique Mission Oak Coat Rack--Stickley Arts & Crafts Era--Early 1900's
This Mission Oak Coat Rack is an original. Made during the Arts and Crafts period. It stands 79 inches high and the pole is 1 2/3 inches wide. The Stickley style base is 25 inches from toe to toe. There is one hook that has broken in half. And I am guessing there once was something where the round hole is now. I have included two smaller hooks, but from the same era. Maybe they can be used on the coat rack. Shipping is to US, or Local Pick Up thanks for looking
