THE SOFT SHADES OF YELLOWS, PINKS, AND LAVENDER ARE SUBTLY MIXED TOGETHER TO MAKE A GEORGEOUS BACKGROUND FOR THE VIOLETS. The backstamp has"Thomas Sevres, Bavaria" and then in a separate stamp"hand painted Caine Studio" There is a signature on the front which looks like"Sotiyer" but I am not sure of all the letters. Antique Pair of "Sevres" & Ormulu Cobalt Urns 19th Century Now Lamps
Description From the collection of a retired diplomat we offer a pair of 19th century Sevres urns with ormulu mounts. These were turned into lamps sometime early in the 20th century. The bodies are in cobalt. Each holds two bulbs. The wiring is original and dates from the 1920s. These are quite stupendous. On one the ormulu is a bit discoloured with some vertigris. The porcelain on both is excellent with no chips or breaks. Measurements: Height: 29 inches. 73.5 cm) including the lamp support. The urns are each 18 inches high including the handles( 46cm) Max. Large antique French Sevres style vase unique shape
This hand painted French Sevres style vase is 14 inches tall. It is 8 inches wide at the widest point and 4 ½ inches deep. It has a unique tall and thin shape. It has a hand painted scene on each side. One side depicts a lady in a colorful dress with a basket by her side. Within the scene are the initials E.G. for the artist. The other side depicts a meadow with a hill in the distance. The vase comes with a brass stand. Which is not attached. This piece dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. The piece has been drilled and was a lamp at one time. There is rubbing to the gilding on both the top and the bottom. There are a few spots where there has been some glaze loss.

Suspect that this is Vincienne as there are no other marks apart from the crossed Ls on the cup and it resemblers the palette of a box dating from 1753. The saucer does have small"y"s on either side of the crossed Ls. Beautifully painted with wreaths of flowers. Highlighted in gold and blue. cartouche. Given the age. There is some wear to the gilt. Antique Sevres Hand Painted China Ink Well & Matching Wax Seal
This auction is for a rare Sevres porcelain ink well with ink cup and a matching wax seal press. This piece is marked with the double L with a LC inside the center. It is totally hand painted with a different country scene on either side. A faux crackle finish and a delicate band of blue flowers around the top as well as flowers at each end. This ink well does need restoration. I think it should have a matching lid as well as brass inserts around each hole in the top. There are a few small paint chips off and at one end the curl has been glued back on. Because of the rarity of these pieces it should be worth the restoration, or display it as it is. I am not sure of the value so I am starting it at a ridiculously low price and will see what happens. Good luck bidding!

This auction is for an antique Porcelain Cup& Saucer. The Teacup. Which measures 2 ¾” tall by 2 5/8” diameter, is marked on the bottom with an 18th century Sevres Porcelain Mark. According to my research, Sevres put a letter A in the center of the“Double-Louis” starting in 1753 and changed the letter with each year, omitting W. The marking on this cup has a K in the center which dates it from 1764. This Sevres Porcelain Teacup has a very finely hand painted 3 3/8” by 2” vignette of a colorful, exotic bird. There is a tiny chip to the inside edge of this teacup and another on the bottom edge. There are no other problems or any restorations. Along with this Teacup comes a 5 ¼” diameter Porcelain Saucer. The marking on the bottom of this saucer is also“Sevres” but after comparing it to others, and acknowledging that the letter E would mean that it dates from 1757, I have determined that this is not an authentic marking. On the back of the plate on the unglazed foot, it appears that the plate picked up some color from the many decades that it sat on felt in a china cabinet. This photographic set of Lanvin perfume bottles. In 4” x 5” 10.2 x 12.7 cm) five color negatives, includes the“boules” ball-shaped bottles) designed by Armand Rateau in 1925 with the famous Lanvin logo designed by Paul Iribe. One of the boules is from the limited edition of 1926, which was made in porcelain by Sevres. Available in blue, burgundy and turquoise, it was offered only to special clients and is exceedingly rare. The blue is shown in the first negative. All of the negatives are in excellent condition. Original flat-black paper mats cut to border each negative, as well as protective sleeves for each negative, are included. All of the bottles photographed are from Lanvin's own collection in Paris. Photographing these negatives was difficult. Holding them up to the light or window would then include what was between the negative ... moreand the light source. E.g. trees, cars, room furniture, etc. These objects then become part of the photograph. I chose to photograph them against a white sheet, which eliminates other objects but does darken them. The base of the plaque is impressed, AF/ L" embossed below is a large, O" The well of the round turquoise bowl is decorated with a garden pastoral scene of two lovers dancing and is signed“Fragonard” lower left; the high turquoise sides of the interior of the bowl are decorated with a repeating concentric c-scroll gilt design and the rim has a gilt edge. It is raised on a tripartite c-scroll bronze frame with pierced rocaille cast foot having a center porcelain plaque decorated with floral bouquet and foliage ... morewithin a turquoise border. Dimensions: 10 inches in diameter x 7 ¼ inches high(bowl 9 inches in diameter) Near excellent vintage condition with only one minor flaw where the bowl is attached around its bottom edge to the frame. The glue appears to have shrunk a little and pulled a ⅜ inch long x 1/12th inch wide strip of blue colored porcelain from the bowl along the bronze frame. Early Sevres Porcelain and Ormolu Clock Set. Silk Suspension Movement ~ French- Circa 1850 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A glorious and early original antique French clock set featuring Sevres style porcelain and cherubs. It is most exquisitely modelled in the classical style of Louis XVI. Finely chased and crisply modelled in ormolu(finely gilded brass/bronze) and mounted with Sevres style porcelain panels. Porcelain has a blue ground and is delicately painted with floral swags. The panel below the dial is painted with a delightful scene of two cherubs. To the top of the clock is a cherub marking off time. Candelabra have porcelain mounted bases upon which stand cherubs, one boy and one a girl, holding the four branches aloft as burning touch é. Branches are modelled as stylised acanthus. The clock sits on its polished ... moreintegral base allowing the reflection of the pendulum to be seen swinging within. This clock set has been impeccably prepared by our restorers and is beautifully bright and clean. Ready to display. The dial is enamel in copper. Lettered in blue with separate minute and hour rings. The finely fretted gilt brass hands are original and the hobnail bezel is fitted with convex glass. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen. The French movement is of excellent quality and is the early design with silk suspension and outside hammer stop spring. The backplate of the movement is marked"M" for the retailer and unusually the case is also marked with the same"M" Movement is in excellent. A RARE 19th CENTURY SEVRES FEUILLET PORCELAIN FOOTED CUP AND SAUCER A 19th Century Sevres Feuillet porcelain footed tea cup and saucer. The footed cup measures 2" tall with a rim diameter of 3 7/8" The saucer measures 5 3/8" diameter. The saucer has a thick and pronounced foot. There is a clean 1½" hairline to the rim of the cup- also there appears to be a finial knop missing from the base of the cup handle. No wear evident. Colours and glaze still bright and fresh.
