Up for auction is a VERY USED Boss Dr.Sample SP-303. There is a list of problems with this unit. So it is being sold AS-IS, for REPAIR or PARTS only! This is a great machine, and it has been worn down from almost 10 years of constant studio and live use on the road. ALL FOUR KNOBS do not work well- they are loose, scratchy& mostly unresponsive. The volume knob itself is missing. The MFX button does not work at all. The 1/4" output does not work at all. Estate and Antique* This is an original possibly by M A Whiting. Who signed the quilt top with Dresden Plate Pattern which I have listed. The Dresden Plates are appliqued onto this quilt top. It is 76 by 65 inches. A single color embroidery Name Sampler of Birds Animals, fruits, Children, even a Frog among other animals. The embroidery thread is missing in very few places, and the linen has held its color with minor stains and one stain the size of a quarter. It has pin holes as photographed sparsely on the cloth, but I am not a quilter. Museum quality I was told, Folk art-styled. I have a table cloth/ quilt top which is a Dresden Plate quilt top which is dated 1890's and possibly made by same woman as it came out of her estate. Got as many pics in as possible. Susanna Bowman's 1781 Alphabet Number work. Approx 4.5" x 5.75" and framed size is 9 1/8" x 7 3/8" I see no holes but the corners have some rubbed wear and there is no glass in the frame- it is as I bought it in England in 1976. Taken from the internet; Stitched Alphabets and Monograms: Most sampler patterns include alphabets. It is very rare to find a complete alphabet in antique samplers. While there might be some errors. Inversions or omissions due to the youth of the stitcher, some missing letters are no accident. A certain number of letters were often merged such as"I" and"J" as well as"V" and"W" and other letters, often the less useful such as"X" or"Y" were simply dropped out. I am pretty sure this is antique just by looking at the frame and mounting with nails. Though I am not positive it is pre 1930. Very nice condition, not much faded, under glass in wooden frame, about 14x12 inches in frame. If you win and only want the material not the frame and glass the shipping could be much less(if you wish to remount yourself) but it is in nice shape both the frame and glass. Weighs 2 pounds before packing, but I will insure it because of the glass. The poem is actually the first verse of a Charles Wesley hymn from the late 18th century I believe. Probably meant for hanging in a child's bedroom.

Offered is a vintage or antique AUTHENTIC MINIATURE KILIM RUG SAMPLER TAPESTRY TEXTILE showing several different weave shapes. Including areas where woven bands of color are separated from one another(see photos) Colors are taupe beige, maroon burgundy red, coral, turquoise blue, and green. I think it is Turkish Caucasian, from about 1930's. It was definitely all woven by hand. Made from wool with cotton warp threads. This flatweave measures about 9 1/2" x 16" 24cm x 41cm) including the fringe. One end is not quite as wide as the other end. I would rate it as being in quite good old condition commensurate with its age. But there is some age toning, and a few small, light spots. In my photos you'll be able to see these details. Beautiful and Rare German Sampler Circa 1810, 1870 With Gorgeous Fine Work!
This is the first of many old samplers that I'll be listing in the next few days. They all came from my Grandmothers collection of the last 100 years. I know nothing about them so please ask any questions before bidding. This one is German. I think, and I don't speak German so I don't know what the writing says. There's a large area in the center of the sampler that's stitched in light thread that makes it hard to read. The quality of the stiching is amazing! Some of the letters and numbers have literally hundreds of threads in them. I don't know how anyone could do that. It has been professionally conserved with acid free paper backing and framed under uv resistant glass. I can't tell if the date on the sampler is 1810 or 1870. Antique Alphabet ABC Sampler- Circa 1830 A classic antique and fine example of early 19th century needlework. This alphabet sampler was likely a practice sampler for a young Victorian girl. It is simple and was worked in black thread cross stitch on plain linen. The alphabet was repeated several times. With different lettering styles. One alphabet does not have the letter J and the simple border suggests this may be a transitional or cross over sampler and was probably stitched sometime around 1830. The frame is a simple black and grey wood frame. Pictures taken under glass. The paper backing was taped to the frame; I don't know what the mat is. Measures about 17 1/4 inches x 18 1/2 inches; the opening is about 17 inches x 18 1/4 inches. Condition is excellent for this type of needlework although I have to mention there is some darkened ... morearea of the fabric near the top(too light to photograph well) Re-matting onto acid free paper should correct any further darkening. Early 19th century linen and wool work sampler by Mary Ann Ezart 1843. This sampler is just delightful! The top section has examples of alphabet lettering. Floral urns and birds. Beneath these, flanked by trees, butterflies and flowers are the words Remember all the dying pains that my Redeemer felt And let his blood wash out my stains and answer for my guilt Mary Ann Ezart Aged 10 York 1843 Beneath the verse is a superb two storey red house with dogs at either side and two magnificent large trees. The whole thing is surrounded by a strawberry border. The linen has slight overall discolouration consistent with its age and the colours of the wools are good with the pastel shades used for the lettering being paler as always seems to be the case. As can be seen on the photographs this sampler has been tacked onto a backing board at some point ... morein its life and the tack marks can be seen plus two small areas of damage to the linen on the top right hand and bottom left hand corners. Late 18th century linen and wool work sampler by Ann Cook 1798. This little sampler is truly wonderful. The top two thirds of the linen are beautifully stitched with examples of alphabet letters. Numbers and border patterns with"LET VIRTUE BE THY GUID" written amongst the lettering. Beneath this are further, smaller alphabet letters with"Be a Lover of Ingenious Pain for Itt's the Labouring Hand That Doth the Penney Gain" The bottom section is just charming. Decorated with a central floral urn with two birds perched on it then two floral branches on either side with a bird perched on each. Early 19th century linen and silk work sampler by Harriet Matilda Geen. Aged 11 Novmenber 28th 1834. This sampler is absolutely stunning with extremely fine stitchwork throughout and some superb motifs. The central section of the line has the following verse contained within an elaborate border And am I born to die To lay this body down And must my trembling spirit fly Into a world unknown. Soon as from earth I go What will become of me. Eternal happiness or woe must then my portion be Above the verse is a floral basket with two tiny birds on top. Standing on the top corners of the verse are two superb parrots. Floral motifs. Birds and trees run down the sides of the verse. Below are two further baskets with exquisitely stitched butterflies on each side. Vintage Hand Sewing Petit Point Needlepoint Embroidery Sampler Textile Purse
Vintage unfinished. Hand stitched petit point roses on black background, purse pattern textile sampler. Seller not a collector or knowledgeable on this subject. Found at a yard sale, held by a 90ish year old lady. To give an idea as to the age of this textile, it was purchased along with two other antique purses, one of which is a micro mettalic steel beaded purse, and the other is a tapestry fabric purse, with a"Made in France by hand WALBORG" tag. This piece was found framed, and was displayed as a decorative wall hanging. It was stuck on a black velvet fabric, with some sort of adhesive tape. This adhesive is still on the reverse side, seen most going around on all four side edges. This adhesive is still tacky enough to easily reframe, if one wishes. This adhesive does peal off, when gently worked on, but seller is not gauranteeing ... moreanything. The last 4 photos show reverse side, showing this condition. Measures 13" X 9 1/4" The needlework purse itself measures 5 1/4" X 5" On the top part of the purse there is a outline pattern of what would be the top metal frame and closure of the bag.
