I am not an expert, but based on my research, this is a beautiful19th CENTURY RED WARE CAKE MOLD in the "TURKS HEAD" DESIGN. CONDITION : Interior is clean ... morewith typical minor wear for a piece like this; rim and exterior have typical dimples, crazing, small cracks, and glaze imperfections - see photo; center opening seems to be filled with a soft cork-like material which I'm leaving undisturbed for the next owner; otherwise, I don't see any issues with this mold - see photos.

Antique Clinton Missouri Redware Large Jug Likely Jegglin
Antique Clinton. Missouri Redware Large Jug Likely Jegglin Up for auction is a large redware jug from Clinton. Henry County, Missouri. I am assuming that it was made at one of the potteries in that town. It might have even been made by my great grand uncles Johann Caspar Thoma or William Thoma. This jug bears great similarity of jugs made by Michael Jegglin of Boonville, Missouri. And both he and his son, E. A. Jegglin, operated a pottery mill in Calhoun, Missouri. This jug is 9 1/2" in diameter; 11" in height; and weighs 9 pounds. It is marked with a large E which I assume is the jug size. The bottom of this piece of stoneware is flat with no markings. Overall a fine mass produced piece of stoneware from an area noted for its clay and potteries. Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active ... moreitems.

1987 Redware Manganese Glazed Covered Sugar Or Bean Pot By Lester Breininger PA
1987 Redware Manganese Glazed Covered Sugar or Bean Pot Rope Lug Handles by Lester Breininger For your Breininger Redware Collection Details Description: A nice size redware covered sugar container or bean pot with applied rope like lug handles. The pot has a flat round shaped base. Which flares upwards with rounded side ending in a neck and the flares to a straight plain rim. The rim has an inside ledge on which a lid would rest. The pot comes with a round redware and manganese glazed lid having a central large finial. The lid has the same diameter as the pot's top opening, but is obviously not the original lid to the piece which would have been smaller in diameter so it would rest on the inside ledge of the rim. However, this is the way we acquired the piece and we are selling it as found. The lid has the same glazing and looks great ... morewith the pot. The beautiful pot and lid are glazed with manganese glaze and show beautiful black blotches on a nice and rich brown background. The pot is glazed inside and out. But the bottom of the pot is unglazed. The lid is only glazed on top. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 1987. Origin: Robesonia. Berks County Pennsylvania. Size: The pot is 4 1/2" diameter on top. 3 1/2" diameter on the bottom, it is ~6" at its widest including the handles and is ~4" high. The lid is ~4 1/2" in diameter and is 1 1/2" high to the top of the finial. Bothe pieces weigh ~ 1 1/4 pounds. Maker: Lester Breininger Marks: Breininger Pottery; PA 1987" in block calligraphy on bottom. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a very nice piece with a very nice design and colors. Even if the lid and pot are married. A substantial pot and lid weighing almost 1 1/4 pounds. Condition: Pot is in good condition with no cracks. Repairs or hairlines. It does have general crazing to the glaze, a small chip to the rim and another to the edge of the base(we show both in the photos) However, the
