This is an interesting link bracelet from a recent sale. It has rectangular shaped links with an ethnic design on each one- looks like Pre-Columbian. Mayan, Aztec or Inca in design. The rectangular links that have straight sides(not curved in) and the end clasps each have a stamp or mark that looks like a Mexican coin-that says diez centavos at the top and G 2500 LEV(or LEY) 0900 one the bottom- side marks are cut off a bit. They seemed unclear about where it was from, they both worked for the military and had apparently found it in their travels. From our research we have ascertained that it is South American and in the manner of Pre-Columbian pottery. We are assuming that this is a tourist piece and not a period piece. In any case, it is a hand formed piece made from a red clay and painted with dark lines. It measures 2&b 1/4 inches high and 2& 1/4 inches wide at the feet. You are viewing a piece of pre-Columbian American pottery from the Belle Meade excavation site. Horseshoe Lake. We obtained this bowl over 30 years ago from the Memphis collector who excavated them. Over several years he personally excavated and amassed an important collection of vessels and objects of all types which attracted the interest of scholars and collectors. The earth in this area(north Mississippi, east Arkansas, northeast Louisiana) has a clay component to it which preserved artefacts for hundreds of years, and he was able to excavate small intact pieces as well as large urns with original polychrome colors in pristine condition. This item is a serving bowl measuing 7 inches by 2.5 inches high. I recently did a storage cleanout. Where I found a lot of very old pottery and art, these two pieces were wrapped together, and inside the one of them was a piece of paper that says, your candle container is a pre Columbian pril que cup used as a drinking vessel, the vase was to cook in circa 900AD signed tim and patty, I don't know much about pottery but this guy had a lot of it, so I am guessing these are what it is said to be.

Vintage 1950s Mexico Divorced Metals Pre Columbian Figure Wall Plaque Sculpture
For sale here is a fine vintage 1950s 60s Mexican'divorced' metals and azur-malachite stone inlay Pre-Columbian motif wall art plaque. This artwork is made of copper. Brass, white metal, and inlay of azur-malachite in sections, all of which is affixed to a painted-black wood backing. Small section at bottom marked"Mexico" Measures 9-1/2" by 6" by 1/2" thick. Excellent vintage condition, though there is some wear to the wood, and it could use a cleaning and polishing.
