Chestnut Jelly Cupboard / Pie Safe c. 1870
Here is a nice chestnut jelly cupboard. Square nail constructed with original pulls and no loss in height. A little deterioration exists on one leg. This can also be classified as a pie safe since it has cutouts and screen on the sides but, to me, a pie safe has tins. This is just a good, honest cupboard with the usual mouse chews, scratches, nicks, everything that goes along with 150 years of use. It's always nice to find chestnut. Measures 51" high. 41" wide, 16" deep. Pick up here or freight.

This is a great old food warmer. Pie safe. The sides and back have a double wall. There is no bottom to the piece but I believe that was original. Possibly for warming on the old stoves. It has been painted a peach color and I think at one time is was painted blue. This pie safe measures approximately 13 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 11" Originally it might have had three shelves because there are shelf holders in the tin insert. Antique 12 tin pie safe 1800 - 1899
This pie safe was purchased in 1960's from a family who lived at their property for five generations. There were pie safes in each room which stored clothes. Food, dishes, and supplies. There is a hole drilled in the back board to allow for cords from electronics. It was built with old style nails. There is a chip at the top of one door which shows slightly when shut. There are twelve reverse tins on the sides and doors of the cabinet. The top is 181/2" x 45" The actual cabinet is 43 3/8" x 17 1/2" x 45 1/2" This is one the very best pie safes I have ever seen. It has what looks to be original old pumpkin paint and fantastic patina! Even the sides of the drawers are painted the pumpkin color. Both sides of the outside of the cabinet have punched out decorative sides that are tin and painted- very different! It may have been a small pie safe with closed up doors and drawers to keep the little fingers from getting in to the pies! It has old. Different sized porcelain knobs that are dirty but are wonderfully old and original. Old paper lines the slide out drawer and there is barely any left. It's warped and worn as well as dirty. Vtg/Antique 1920's Boss Stovetop Oven-Glass Door-Pie Safe-Camping-Primitive!
1920's Boss tin metal stovetop oven featuring a glass front window. heat indicator" temperature gauge, and coil metal wire handle that latches the door closed. There are two wire racks and a drip pan on the inside, and a coil metal wire handle on the top for carrying. The oven uses the heat from a gas, electric, or wood stove top. Can also be used on a barbecue or camp stove! Measures 12" x 12" x 12" The oven is in great. Though rustic, condition. The thermometer works and the glass is clear- no chips or cracks. The handle that keeps the door closed is sturdy and secure, and the racks and drip pan are sturdy and straight. The entire oven including the racks and drip pan have lots of great-looking surface rust. Definitely a charming piece with primitive style. Please see photos!

Vintage Retro Beauty Bread Box with avocado green frog, off white, pie safe
Here is a great retro item perfect for you 50s/60s kitchen! This bread box says Beauty Box on the back. And I tried to take a photo, but it's a bit difficult to see. It measures about 17" x 10.5" x 10.5" deep. It has some wear consistent with age. But overall, I think it's in great shape. I see no dings or dents. I have one similar to this that i made into my little spice cabinet- works and looks great for that. i don't know for sure it is called a bolo oven or what exactly it is. t.lp/lhis current;y has a big square opening in the bottom of it that measures 6 3/4' by 7 1/4" not sure if that is original or if someone added it at some point. the inside has two racks, but has the holders to hold four. the racks measure 10 3/4" front to back and 11 1/4" side to side. the inside has surface rust as you can see in the pictures, needs cleaning up. it has a glass window in the front of it as you can see in the pictures, bottom left corner has a little triangle out of it, on the outside the opening, glass part that you can see through measures 7 1/2" wide and 8" top to bottom. overall ... moreit measures 13" wide not counting the handles, 16 3/4" tall, it is approx 13 1/4" front to back. it is marked griswold in big letters under the glass part, then a little farther down it says Griswold Mfg Co Erie Pa USA. each side has the Griswold in the circle w their symbol. overall needs a good cleaning and the inside needs the surface rust cleaned off. it's black. please look at the pictures carefully- the bottom piece might be an add on at a later time too, i'm just not sure. heavy- weighing

Vintage Industrial Restaurant Pie Safe Bread Box Storage Box Drop Front
You're buying a very cool. Industrial, vintage drop front box. Their air vents on each side. There is a slot inside for a shelf. The shelf is missing. There's also a little metal prop to keep the drop front door open. I consulted with an auctioneer who said it was probably an old pie safe or breadbox but not for home use. He said it was probably meant for use in restaurants or an industrial food setting like a bakery or possibly even for transport. It is in an aged condition. It was green but there's lots of vintage patina where the paint has rubbed off but that just adds to its appeal. It could be used for any type of storage organization at this point. it is just short of square, it's about 12 3/4 inches high, by 13 1/2 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. Original Primitive Pie Safe or Jelly Cabinet. It has screen panels in both sides and doors. Looks original. 1 door needs some minor work. Bottom drawer needs knobs. Otherwise in fair to good condition. This Cabinet is 54 1/2" tall x 38 1/2" across x 17" deep. This is a Mississippi Estate piece. DOOR ISSUE: Looking at the pie safe it is the left door. The side board has splintered off at bottom where bottom board joins in at. When you open door the bottom board is swinging loose. Antique or Vintage brass restaurant display case? Pie safe? I really don't know what this is. Stands about 28 inches tall. It breaks down into 3 pieces. The bottom 1/3 looks like it's for storage. The middle 1/3 has a half shelf and rails for another shelf maybe? The top 1/3 is like an open basket with the handle on top? Maybe this was used by a street peddler? 2 little doors open up for access inside. 3 little glass windows for viewing inside. Good condition but 1 pane of glass is missing. Easy to replace. Also there are rails inside that something rested on. Not sure if a shelf is missing or if something else rested in the rails. A few dings. There is a fair amount of tarnish or corrosion. Needs a good cleaning and polishing. The box is 14 inches long. 11 inches wide, 11 inches in height. Good Condition for its age. There are some small scratches, scuffs and rust patches as shown in the pictures due to the age of the item. The last picture shows a larger rust patch, but this cannot be seen when the bread box is upright. There are two doors-a top and bottom door. One Of A Kind Antique Tin Floor Model Or Hang Bread Cake Pie Safe READ UPDATE
You will absolutely love this antique metal cake/ bread safe as much as my wife does! This one of a kind(you won't find another like it) just came right out of a great old country kitchen in a local estate this morning. I'm trying to tell my wife we don't have the room so here it is. All original paint and labels. This safe measures 35" tall, 15" wide, and 12" deep. The bread door rolls up(easy) cake door pulls down, pie safe below opens and has shelf. Overall has the appearance of a small US Mailbox. I would think floor is best, but as you can see in pics, it has original holes to hang as well. As in any original metal painted safe of this age, it does show lots of wear. Surface rust here and there, scratches, ect. Needs to be wiped down. Up for bid we have a great New England spoon carved pie safe. This is a great example standing 74" high 39" wide and 15" deep. Great spoon carving on piece in a classic New England style. Believe they are suppose to be trees. Overall in very nice shape. Has been stripped on outside. Inside has original varnish. Had some replacement hardware 2 hinges and a two pulls.
