Gorgeous set in excellent condition. Surfaces are clean and no oxidation. One handle from the three door cabinet has a missing tab. Minor chips to mirror surface on two of the pieces that is not detectable unless closely inspected. Very minor considering the rest of the three pieces have such beautifully kept surfaces. One cabinet with three doors. And two are matching two door side tabel bedside cabinets. I will post other pictures as soon as I get the two side tables out of storage. STUNNING PAUL EVANS CITYSCAPE II DESK 1975 FOR DIRECTIONAL FURNITURE Item Description. This is a rare and impressive Paul Evans Original from 1975. IT it patchwork burl walnut veneer with steel panels in the knee hole. And it is large, or as they say'monumental. I have seen the same desk in green at Talisman on King's Road listed for £32k. Its a collectable piece of art from the renowned designer, and it is also a very useful object with loads of storage space. Paul Evans is considered to be the great American furniture designer of the 20th century. Condition is good. Although it could use some light restoration. The top is very good aside from two holes which someone drilled. I can only assume they were for speaker stands, as this came from a studio in LA. They are 2" holes which could be easily corrected by letting in ... morenew patches of walnut in those areas. there is also some chipping to the edges of the central drawers due to chair knocks, and a bit of chipping to the drawer handles, which are black lacquer. Overall is is a stunning piece which I am listing at well below market value. Due to an impending move. I will be very sad to see it go. Dimensions are 214cms wide by 94cms deep. Thank you for understanding. DESCRIPTION: Brutalist style. Low bean bag tub or lounge chair. Designed in the 1960's by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, in the manner of Paul Evans. Wood base with a sculpted resin finish, to look like metal. Bean bag interior. New cover. The design on the table is truly amazing. Lots of character and attention to detail. MEASUREMENTS: 36 inches round; 24 inches high at the back; 12 inches high at the front. Fairly light ... morein weight. Despite its looks. CONDITION: Chair is in overall good condition. With wear that you might expect from a piece that it is 50 years old. New cover in a light-aqua cotton/polyester velvet. The photos that appear more greenish-blue are the most accurate. I always try to list ALL flaws as accurately as possible. Foam padding in the front of the chair has the most wear due to age and use. It has split and separated from the wood base. And probably should be replaced for comfort. There is a spot at the base of the chair. Along a seam, where the resin is pulling away very slightly from the wood. Only noticeable on close inspection, but I have tried to show it in several photos. There are a few tiny dings in the sculpted resin. One is a small chip in the spiral detailing. The other two are dings in the silver plaster used to seal the resin where it meets around the base(whitish in color. I have included photos of both. Purchased from Surfing Cowboys in Venice Beach. CA over 10 years ago and I have only seen a couple up for auction since. There are a handful of items currently on 1st Dibs from the same collection, so you can see how sought-after these pieces are.

USA- Circa 1970s Designer: unknown- in the manner of Frank Gehry Stunning and unique sculptural steel coffee table comprising of two connected opposing geometric forms. Each form has two mirror polished steel curved sided and two satin/ brushed steel flat sides. The steel has been welded. Ground and polished to form a continuous seamless unit. 48" square 5/8" thick beveled glass top. Excellent vintage condition. No rust, pitting, dents or heavy scratches to the steel surfaces. Rare Mastercraft oyster burl wood brass bronze desk Paul Evans karl springer
DESCRIPTION: Truly amazing over-the-top"oyster" olive? burl patchwork wood executive two-drawer desk by Mastercraft. High quality construction. Brass frame. Thick, glossy coated resin finish to patchwork of burl puzzled together in a vibrant, rich deep golden brown. I like the bronze patina to the brass but it could be polished to a gold gleam which would further accent the wood. The square brass tubing legs are finished with adjustable round brass feet caps. Heavy and solid. The sub-frame of the desk is thick plywood. There is a wide brass trim detail under the resin within the center top of the desk. I couldn't find a Mastercraft label but have seen a similar desk online for attribution. The rich wood detailing is reminiscent of Paul Evans or karl Springer designs. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Brass has age related ... morepatina. Some oxidation and a couple areas of discoloration where tape was removed. Light surface abrasions to thick resin coating. No deep scratches. One minor area of stress fracture to resin coating on table front frame behind drawer(so it's not visible when drawer is closed) Hard so notice due to vibrant pattern of wood. Front right drawer section needs two new bolts to secure front of drawer to top of desk. Looks like there are two pre-drilled holes in the brass frame for screws. Spill residue on inside drawer. DIMENSIONS: 70" wide x 37" depth x 30" tall. CALIFORNIA TAX: California sales tax of 8.50% applied to CA residents. Tax waived if buyer submits a copy of a valid CA reseller’s license number. I am selling this coffee table for my in-laws who are downsizing. My in-laws are the original owners. The coffee table is made of panels of copper. Bronze and pewter.
