Take a good look! This is really a great looking vintage pennant. It is a n eat looking old SAN MIGUEL MISSION PENNANT FROM SANTA FE NE W MEXICO. This may be the oldest church in the US. Built in the early 1600s. It is in overall good co ndition with some slight fading at the corners(maybe once had tape on the corners? It is about 17" long. Age is est. to be from the 1950-60s. Antique Oak Arts & Crafts Mission picture frame mirror Quarter Saw Vg+ Cond 1914
Even though it is not signed this is the nicest antique Mission Oak Picture or Mirror frame that I have owned. It is expertly crafted and is made up of darkly stained quarter sawn oak sides with 4 sided pyramids at the corners. The finish is original and in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and not warped. When I purchased it it had an Angus Mac Donall Western print dated 1914 in it that I am listing seperately. It has an oak ply back on it that is held in place with screws. Between the print and the ply back was a Milwaukee Leader newspaper that was also dated 1914. The glass was broken and I see no reason to purchase new glass to add to the shipping weigh. The buyer can purchase a piece of glass of their choiice or perhaps order a beveled mirror to go with it. I think this antique oak 4 drawer Macey file cabinet is in very good vintage condition. It still retains the majority of the original dark oak finish. It is a bit scratchy on the top and has a few spots but I would leave it as is. I think a bit of scratch cover and a waxing would be sufficient to make it home ready. The interior of the cabinet and drawers are very clean for a vintage item. If you like to refinish items to a light oak look it would refinish nicely. It does have the original Macey Decal of Grand Rapids Mich. and all of the drawers have the original directional decals as well. The hardware is mission style so it would go well with arts and crafts furniture. It has a tiny seperation halfway up one side that is only about a 16th of an inch wide and causes no structurally concerns. Arts and crafts mission period slag glass light fixture
Pictured is an original arts and crafts period slag glass hanging shade. It dates from around 1912-1920's.I believe the company to be Empire. The color of the slag glass is caramel on the upper panels and light green on the lower. I have looked it over several times and there are no cracks in the glass. The panels are all original. The metal filigree is also fine, no breaks or pieces missing. I have pictured slight spaces under the ribs which may be normal. At any rate they are completely solid. The decorative chain and original cloth wiring is in great condition. The 3 old brass sockets as well. The original ceiling plate is detached from the last chain link. It's easier to rewire it up detached. There are appox.4ft. Of chain. This shade is extremely heavy. It came out of an early 1900's home. It has 16 panels is about 26" ... moreacross and 12.5" tall. Offered is a vintage Mission style Arts and Crafts art pottery lamp base that measures 6.75 inches tall by 6.5" long from side to side at its largest point by 6" wide. The lamp base is in great used condition.I see some roughness around the top edge of the piece(pics 3-4)This appears to be from some kind of cement? that was once on the top of the lamp base.I assume that a metal or wooden top used to appear on the base.I also see 4 tiny areas on the piece that look like glaze skips to me(pics 10-12)These are not chips but show areas that were unglazed when the pot was made.Please see the pictures provided.Otherwise. wastepail ITEM: Antique Arts& Crafts Mission Style Waste Basket MEDIUM: Stained wood. APPROXIMATE SIZE: 15 inches tall x 10 inches wide. APPROXIMATE DATE: 1910 MARKINGS: I do not find any markings but there may be glue remnants on the bottom in the shape of what might have been a paper label. Please see images. CONDITION: This pail has a nice aged patina. It was used and does show signs of wear. There is a 2 crack in the bottom of one of the panels but it does not really show unless you look close and does not affect the structural function. It comes from one of the screws that attached the panel to the base and looks like it may have happened when it was screwed together. It also looks like someone put varnish over it which has sealed and protected it. see images) The straps which connect the panels around the top are black and I think ... morevinyl feeling. I imagine these are replacements and it originally had leather. One could easily replace these with leather. NOTES: This is a super nice little waste basket. The design is perfectly proportioned and very satisfying. It is comprised of a 6 sided wooden base with 6 arched top vertical panels that are cut at the sides forming nice cut out shapes when put together. Note the very subtle cut out notch detail in the center of each cut edge. see images) It is stained a dark brown and I dont know what kind of wood it is but think probably oak. It is very well made. I did find one similar one sold on ebay that had a paper label from the Lakeside Craft Shops. I looked for a label on this one and did not find one. But did notice an area on the bottom that may have had a label, see images) The similarities in the pails make me wonder if this also was from the Lakeside Craft Shops. This is an authentic original NASA document issued in in support of the Space Shuttle Mission STS 61-J. The document is FLIGHT DATA FILE RENDEZVOUS STS 61-J HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE and was issued by the Mission Operations Directorate Operations Division at NASA JSC. This is the Preliminary Edition issued on January 23. 1986. This mission was originally planned for Space Shuttle Atlantis and was targeted for launch in August 1986. The main mission of this flight was to deploy the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit. The Hubble Space Telescope and most of the previously assigned crew(except John Young who was replaced by Loren Shriver) Would eventually fly on STS-31 in 1990.
