Rather unusual. Yet genuine Craftsman/ Mission piece here. Solid quarter sawn oak has the original untouched finish, yet this piece is not of the typical 90 degrees angular styling as most pieces of the period are. This has a feminine aspect. It has graceful, beautiful curves! The drip pan is missing but may be ordered in aluminum or custom made of more appropriate copper. Some internal moulding is absent and could certainly be replaced, or not. All four feet are intact, strong and the wear on them attests to the items age and tie to the period. Up for auction is this Signed Stickley Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Style Mantle Clock. This clock is in Good working condition. I wound the clock up and the clock keeps good time. The clock strikes a gong on the half hour and counts the hours on the hour as it should. The clock has a Franz Hermle brass movement. The clock is in Good cosmetic condition. The clock is made out of wood. There are no cracks. Chips, breaks or repairs anywhere in the wood of the clock. There is a dark spot on the bottom corner. I do not know if this is original or not to the clock but I thought I would mention it. Please look at the pictures. The front has a leaded glass window that shows the pendulum going back and forth. The original design of the clock was by Peter Hansen in 1912. This clock was made in 2003 and the model is 89 085. Rare and Unusual Antique Stickley Brothers Mission Oak Arts & Crafts Table
Here's an Unusual Antique Stickley Brothers Mission Oak Table. This nicely quarter sawn oak piece has a uniquely shaped treatment to the aprons. Almost like a modified cloud lift. I could not find the table in any catalogs that I have. The top is splined and there is a stenciled model number under the lower shelf(which is very faint and hard to read, see picture 7) So I'm sure it's Brothers though there is no brand, decal or other label. The finish looks mostly original with the top having been cleaned; depending on your taste, the top could use some color and evening out here and there. There are five small shallow holes in the top(example, picture 9) and some minor seam separations(example, picture 10) The lower side stretcher on one side has a sliver missing(picture 11) Being 100 years old there are the normal bumps and bruises ... morecommensurate with the age. The legs are nicely tapered and overall it's a pretty sophisticated and unusual design. The dimensions are approximately 30 and 1/4" tall, 34 and 1/8" wide and 22 and 1/8" deep. The lamp shades look fantastic when lit and they are genuine slag glass. Two of the slag glass pieces are not original but are not noticeable when lit. This chandelier is in working condition. An original World War Two letter including the envelope written by Paul A Smith who was in the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron. This serviceman was in the military from the time of World War Two. The Korean War and the Vietnam War. During World War Two he was a combat pilot in the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron. The letter is dated Belgium 27-Nov-1944. In the letter he talks about going on a combat mission. I currently have other items listed that belonged to Paul A Smith. Sturdy and straight condition with original seat in excellent strong condition. This is a vintage. And highly decorative piece great for the Mission or country style interior. The stool measures 13" w x 11" tall x 10" deep. There is a very faint spot on the rush seat- see pictures and a few tiny white paint spots on 2 legs. These were in my sister's collection. As far as I know. They are all original with oak wood, and the finish, leather seats and tacking on them, I think is all original. These chairs have partial tags on the bottom of the seats and I looked up the information and found they were made by the Barber Brothers Chair Co. which manufactured these from 1903-1911, with the main office in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1911 they merged to form the"Grand Rapids Bookcase and Chair Co. which later became Lifetime Furniture. Prior to forming their own companies, the brothers were involved with other Grand Rapids companies. The chairs are sturdy and don't wobble or seem loose. They measure 17 1/2" across front of seat and taper to 15" across back of seat. And 17" from front to back of seat. They are 18" from floor to top of ... moreseat, and 36 1/2" from floor to top of post on the back. From top of seat to top of back they are 19" The leather seats are coarse-grained leather hides, with exposed tacks. They seem to have been well-taken care of original chairs. 1. Likely white oak. Fumed, not stained, to darkened, splayed legs. 2. Stretchers have 6 keyed tenons. End beveled, as are tops of keys. 3. Oak stock of leg pieces are 3/4 thick. Stretchers are 5/8" 4. Top is 3/4" thick. 13" x 17" quarter sawn. 16" tall Now. What is it, and whose partial decal is adhered to the bottom? Some A&C rockers were very close to the floor, and this may have been a table and magazine shelf nearby. It has not been upholstered, but one could sit long enough to get shoes tied. We have search at least 20 period catalogs on line, and found nothing even close to this. We believe by form and wood thickness that is is early, with the overall look of what some call"chunky" usually thought to indicate the earler style. It is a rubbed finish, no evidence of varnish, but perhaps over the ... morelabel. Unfortunately someone spent quite a bit of time picking at the label, which is either very thin paper or a decal. There is definitely a dark red color to the label, which looks to have a slight trapezoidal shape. Any assistance in identifying possible make will be helpful. Condition Specks of white paint here and there. Expected edge dents. Darker area to top, coarse cut to surface leaves texture of grain; certainly not put through a plainer. Stickley Brothers Cutout & Slats 1/4 Sawn Oak Desk #6902, Mission Furniture
Stickley Brothers(6902 ink stamped on back) but no surviving paper label so attrib. Beautiful quarter sawn white oak. Lady's writing desk with cutouts and some wicker design elements. I think the wicker is original, but I can't guarantee. CHAIR IN ONE PHOTO NOT INCLUDED. Desk is very solid in good condition. Drawer works fine with two apparently original hardware pulls(a bit of wear, see photo) Four great cubby holes. See sleigh like feet. Meaures 36" wide by 23" deep by 30 1/2" height. Some color and touch up finish apparently added at some time. Some wear on front edge of lower shelf(chair or feet banging it a bit over 100 years-but not noticeable unless you are down there close looking at it) May require up to seven days after payment to pack and get to Federal Express Ground Shipping. WILL BE VERY WELL PACKED.

REALLY NICE SET OF DOORS. 15 3/4" X 14" X 3/4" ORIGINAL HARDWARE, HAND WROUGHT, BUT THE LEFT DOOR IS MISSING THE PIN ON THE BACK. THERE ARE NO HINGES. NICE SOLID GOLDEN OAK WITH INLAID. THESE WERE FOUND IN AN OLD BARN. I DID NOT CLEAN THEM JUST DUSTED THEM OFF. SMOKE FREE HOME. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
