This is an original(not reproduction) authentic Milo Baughman recliner. Just like the one being sold by DWR except this is the real one that DWR is reproducing! This was made when Milo and Thayer were still alive and active in there business. Who knows they could of sat in this very chair as it was completed in High Point North Carolina. This is very rare chair to not only still have the label attached. But to have the James Inc label which is the precursor company of the famous Thayer Coggin brand. This is in quite good shape for a well used chair that is at least 65 years old! This looks to be all original there is no evidence of staining from being refinished. There are signs of repairs made to the wood frame. There is a crack underneath on of the armrests which has been glued. You can see it in the pictures. The crack does not go through to the top of the armrest. There is also glue residue on one of the back joints which you can also see. The frame shows wear with scratches and dings throughout. The black vinyl is in very nice shape, there are a few spots that show some wear but it is in overall very nice condition. The foot rest does not hold up and stay when tucked in as you can see it the picture. The chair seems to function quite normally and reclines with ease into both reclining positions. There from the 1970's and were originally gold chrome that had started to corrode so I had them professionally painted in a beautiful color of high gloss gold acrylic enamel and there now in mint condition.There's also 2 sets of glass tops with these.One set in tempered and measures 24" round by 3/8" thick with 3/4" bevels.The other set is octagonal and measure 28" wide by 3/8" thick and there beveled also.There's slight scratch's in two on the glass tops.What makes these so unique is the way there made.There's not anything that bolts together and they have a space age uni-body look with 4 rectangle steel braces holding the glass tops up not one.This allows for a much larger loop making the glass tops look like there floating over the bases and there strong enough to hold the heaviest lamp without ... morebending.There's also not any plastic caps. Every weld has been ground down and then polished and there's not any bending crimps anywhere.These frames alone would cost a small fortune to have made.These are for pick-up only.

Square cabinet with door that swings open and has two shelves. The cabinet sits on a round base in smoked chrome laminate mica. The overall condition of the piece is good. There is a nick to the right front corner and two small nick to the door edge upper right. There is a slight separation to the formica on the upper right edge. These are things that can be addressed. The base is good as well. There are surface scratches and some nicks but it shows well. It has a good vintage look. Estate find. I see these identified as Milo Baughman. There is info on underside of chairs, they are dated 1985. They are in very good used condition. The fabric is wonderful and intact the foam is great. They appear to have a brass coating on metal there are scratches and bits of wear here and there as can be expected, the lacquer is a bit fragile. There are some very light surface stains on upholstery but the fabric itself is very sturdy and original, the color is amazing, much better in person, hard to see in photos but a very deep moss green, they look as if they were not sat in, just sat in a dining room or living room for show, then had a few things dripped on them in transport and storage, a very light spot cleaning would do it. They are very heavy and well-made an incredible find. They measure 33 inches tall they measure 20 inches ... moreto top of seat they are 21 1/2 inches wide and the seat is a generous 20 1/2 inches deep. They are very very comfortable and I see them used in pairs as lounge chairs just as often as you see them used for dining table chairs. Speaking of dining tables I have a Milo Baughman for Mastercraft or Pierre Cardin dining room table that extends also, they would be absolutely wonderful together I am selling the table separately so just email me. It is also brass but has been spray-painted silver. I have added a bad photo of it as the last photograph it does not go with the four chairs automatically is being sold separately. Local pickup only I do come to Los Angeles for the Rose Bowl once a month and can bring them for you to pick up there on the second Sunday of each month if that helps for $100. The parsons-style burlwood dining table was designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. It features beautiful burl wood and includes two 22" leaves that allow the table to extend up to 110" The credenza functions as a beautiful bar or sideboard. Whose wood grant and color are also burlwood and beautifully complement the dining table. Milo Baughman was a prodigious designer from 1947 through the 1970s.
