On offer is this most delighful 14th Century Medieval silver gilt finger ring. Depicting Archangel Gabriel. The bezel is beautifully designed and sculpted to resemble Gabriel kneeling(facing the viewer) holding a scroll on which the words AVE MARIA would have been. The back of the ring is a Fede(clasped hands) design denoting this ring would have been given in friendship or betrothal. The shank is engraved with cruciform panels. The whole ring is gilded in gold. This ring was damaged during excavation and restored by its finder. It would greatly benefit professional resoldering by a competant jeweller to be fully wearable again. It is of the type worn by Abbots as a badge of office. Usually given by the Bishops upon their ordination. The bezel is of simple box form that holds an excellent quality rock crystal. The transparant crystal would have acted as a window to magnify whatever sacred relic contained inside. As you can see in the pictures i offer you this really nice spur from the medieval age! This item is from an old private collection. And it was cleaned and conservated before. The spur is in really good condition. The photos speak for themselfes. The star and the buckle is moving, the rust don't holds them, what is really rare. The spur was made between 1200-1300 AD! I suggest this ou tstanding relic could be great for both collectors both history lovers! The item is 13 centimeters long. And 7,8 centimeters wide at the wides point. Here we have a great display rack of Halbreds. Polearms and Pikes. They are high quality and very decorative. There is a variety of different polearms with different purposes in there use during the Medieval times. They are very well made of a heavy brass and about 12 to 13 inches tall. They are in a very nice decorated rack that makes the display of these really look great. This rack in not new it must be from the 1960s or 1970s. These are real examples of man's inhumanity to man. The purpose of these polearms was to knock a knight off his horse or to get the tip of the polearm through the slot of the knights eye holes in helmet.
