His left hand is held at the chest, clutching a large key. His right arm is articulated, perhaps to move separately in ancient times. The fingers of his right hand are held in the sign of the cross. A small tenon at the back of the head and another on the hollowed out interior. The Saint is shown in a typical pose. Watch is Full Jeweled to the center wheel. This watch is running fine keeping time and method of setting the hands is by pushing in the small pin at 1 and turning the crown. The stem does not pull up it is fixed into position and this is the swiss method of early watch hand setting. The watch is a manual wind running 24 hours on a wind. The case is also marked with the swiss silver turkey hallmark, Serial number 14862, and is 50mm or 2 inches across. I have not polished this case. The Crystal is glass and the hands are fancy tulip shape blued steel with an enamel porcelain dial with a line at 1 and 24 hour markings in the center. Really interesting and RARE medieval decorated sword or dagger pommel!
As you can see in the pictures i offer you this great looking pommel. The item is from an old private collection and it was cleaned and conservated before. I think it was a sword's or a dagger's pommel. And it looks really great. It is nice and decorated, but it is not a big one. It is a fine and reare piece, the photos speak for themselfes! The pommel was made between 1300-1400 AD! I suggest this nice piece could be great for both collectors both history lovers! The item is 4.7 centimeters long, 2,6 centimetrs wide at the widest point, and it is 77 gramms! I only accept Paypal! Happy Bidding! I don't want to make profit from the shipping cost's price.
