Vintage LAMP FINIALS - MATCHED PAIR Ornate Metal Filigree Lattice
More exceptional matched pair of vintage lamp finials. The ornate filigree or lattice work is on both sides with about a 1/4" space in the middle. Like a narrow cage. They are metal. Either solid brass or a coated metal. Magnet does not stick, I think brass. Original finish. Approx. 3 1/8" tall and 1 3/4" wide. One is slightly tarnished because it has been on my lamp for years. The other was in a drawer. I found a nice single so this pair can sell. The threads look like 3/8" but as you can see I had a size reducer on the one that was on my lamp. Some of these lamps were given to arcade operators who purchased a couple of PacMan arcade machines. The heat from the lightbulb causes the inner shade to spin making it look like the ghosts and Pac-Man move. Truly an awesome item! Buyer should be aware that as a used item there are condition issues that have been caused by aging: The inner rotating section does have paint flaking caused by the heat of the light bulb. This is a large glass amber lamp.It is approx. 36" with the harp.And harp is 10"It has an ornate base and top piece which the top has a marking of a c in a circle then a buffalo? and the letters TM I have a picture#3.It is in good condition no chips or cracks on glass,the harp does have some patina and discoloring,and in picture 3 you can see where the metal has separated just a bit,but nothing that takes away from overall look of the lamp.The base also has a nice patina it is metal and I believe cast brass. It comes with its original rectangle shade. The shade has some creases and dark spots due to age but no holes. This lamp is 13 1/2 inches tall with the shade and 8 inches wide. It was made be the Scene-In-Action Corporation in 1931. It measures 9 ½” tall and is in very good condition with no damage. The two plastic cylinders have no melting or damage and are just about as good as it gets. The paper on the outer cylinder has no damage and is bright in color. It does have a replaced cord so it is safe to use. In the Motion Lamp book it reads: A bit harder to find than their Forest Fire and not quite as realistic. The lamp stands at 26 inches in height with a shade 15 inches in width and a height alone of 10 inches. The shade is of a stretched fabric and has hand painted panels of Jack and Zero the dog from the feature film interpreted by an artist. This is a one of a kind lamp by an artist. The base is painted gloss red and is comprised of metal and wood with a standard socket base and harp. This is an vintage ceramic television lamp/light in the shape of a shiny black glazed panther. Cougar, or jaguar. The back side has an opening that houses a single A type light bulb. It has been tested and is in good working order. The push metal on/off switch also in good working order. The lamp is about 19" long by about 5" high. It is in excellant condition except a small chip on the bottom edge of one of the front paws which is not visible when it is sitting normally. An imperfection in the glaze on the rear paw and a tiny scratch on the lower portion of the belly. It no longer has the rhinestones in the eye holes. This is a great retro item from a time when the family gathered around a single black and white television in a darkened living room. The following auction is for a vintage cast lamp bottom/base. It is used. Its really dusty/dirty and needs cleaned up. It has a nice ornate bottom. I cant tell if its supposed to be fish.Mermaid or some sea monster. Maybe its none of the above and just a design. I am bad at guessing the type of metal. A magnet will not stick to it There are some rust spots and tarnish marks. If it was painted.It might look pretty nice,but you would have to do some cleaning up on it. From the legs to the top of the base(heighth) it stands about 2.5 inches tall. The top part(where the bulb would go) measures 5.25 inches all the way across. Industrial Benjamin 4 Socket Chandelier Lamp Cluster Porcelain Brass
Up for no reserve auction is a Benjamin 4 socket lamp cluster. It is in good. Working order. I found out after I took the pictures that the sockets can actually swivel so they don't have to point straight down. They swivel at least 90 degrees so you can place the bulbs just about anywhere you want to light the lamp the best. Very industrial looking with heavy brass screws underneath holding it together. Two Kerosene Lamp Brass Wick Controllers
I am offering two brass kerosene lamp wick controllers. The left controller is marked macbeth nu-type. The bottom portion has external threads to screw in to the base. This one has heavy tarnishing with moderate dust that has collected over the years. The knob turns easy. The right controller is not marked with a manufacturer and it is not threaded. This one has mild toning. A ding in the top, dried sealer on the inside where it connects to the bottom, some bending to the flange where the chimney seats and the knob turns freely. The wick was too wide for the controller so I removed it but it will be sent along.
