Mid-century vintage tulip table and chair set. Made by"North Central Industries, Inc. Johnson, WIS" Looks to be early 1970's. In good overall condition. Table is wood with formica top or similar surface, chairs are molded fiberglass. All chairs swivel smoothly with no wobble or squeaks. Seat cushions are new generic cushions(from Ikea) and not original. Edge of table has some wear as shown in the closeup photo. Bases have some light scuffs and may need cleaning. No attempt has been made to paint or restore this set- it is in good original condition that has been in daily use. Note that this set is the rare low-profile version. Vintage Knoll Bertoia Wide Diamond Cover Foam Fabric
Vintage fabric and foam cover for a Knoll Bertoia Wide Diamond chair. The fabric covering has quite a bit of sun fading- it was probably a much darker blue or purple at one point. But now it's lavender-ish pink. There are also a handful of stains. I had planned to try dyeing the cover but have too many projects! There are a few nips to the fabric. But no tears or anything. Please note. This cover fits a WIDE Bertoia Diamond chair, not the standard Diamond chair.

Bertoia Side Chair(Outdoor) Harry Bertoia 1952 Harry Bertoia's delicately industrial Side Chair is among the most recognized achievements of mid-century modern design. Like Saarinen and Mies. Bertoia found sublime grace in an industrial material, elevating it beyond its normal utility into a work of art. This chair is excellent condition, for its age(produced in the late 1980) and shows little signs of wear. The underside show a slight sign of rust where the seat is fastened to the base(due to nut and bolt) the coating is completely intact.
