The saucers stand about 2.2 cm up and are about 12,5 cm wide They are in good condition except for some minor glaze chips on the edges. One cup has a hair line size tear: Saucer 1 has some glaze chips on the edge. Two of them are in view from the front. Please see photo 5. Saucer 2 has two glaze chips on the edge. One of them is only slightly in view from the front. The other has a tiny tear. Please see photo 6. Saucer 3 has one glaze chip on the edge. Really hard to see from the front. Extremely Rare Kangxi Yangcai enamelled plate cracked ice pattern & famille rose
The item for sale is an extremely rare export piece incorporating the new range of Yangcai or foreign colour which came into being near the end of the Kangxi reign. It incorporates aspects of Imari pattern with Iron red and gilding together with block colours in underglaze cobalt with gilding over this in cracked ice pattern. Between the patterns are flowers with the new colour palette of famille rose and a creamy white.Both colours thicker than the leaves which are in standard Kangxi green and turquoise.Some leaves are underglaze blue with gold highlight. The condition is poor but the plate is a great rarity and of historical importance for any serious collector of Chinese ceramics. Low start so get bidding and good luck! It is decorated with plants in iron red. Gold and blue. It dates to the later Kangxi period, around 1710. The second cup is also 2.5” high and 3.25” long. Its decoration shows a mandarin attended by a boy watching a boat on a lake. It dates to the Qianlong period, around 1760. They are offered at a modest reserve. Of square form raised on small feet the panels have a typical vase and flower motif, a scroll and a branch with flowers that stretches over two panels. 18th Century C.1740 Dutch Delft Chinoiserie KangXi Porcelain Inspired Plate! NR
Sankaat is very pleased to present for your consideration this early 18th century Dutch Delft plate manufactured in the Kangxi(Kang Hsi) style! The center of the plate depicts the fence. Willow tree, rock and flowers motif popular on Delftware and Chinese Export porcelain since the late Mint era, however the border with its solid blue band and white reserve painted flowers is a direct copy of Kangxi era porcelain. Most likely this piece is a direct copy of a c. 1710-1722 Kangxi specimen, which is not unusual but does help to narrow dating and make this piece more beneficial to the student of Delft as well as Chinese export porcelain. Measuring 9 inches, this plate is in good condition with one small chip as well as the usual rim chipping(fritting) commensurate with age. Thank you very much for viewing this auction!

This is a beautiful pair of antique chinese blue and white baluster vases complete with their fu dog covers. They stands approx 16 cms high x 7.5 cms wide and are beautifully painted with scenes of 2 children and a large vase on a table. the bases are marked in blue with the 4 figure mark for kangxi nian zhi c 1890-1920, they have no repairs,the base rim of one vase has chips in the glaze around the edge, the lid to one has edge side chips, the other lid is fine being as made, it has some kiln crazing to the blue glaze detail. a superb small matching pair of vases. The Vase is guaranteed to be an authentic Kangxi period example. So please bid with full confidence. The Vase is richly decorated with an interesting Kangxi period design including figures. Rock cliffs, mountains, lakes, ect. As you can see I removed the base plate of the vase which reveals a double ring with Kangxi period mark. I also found a piece of paper with provenance under the base plate which as you can see says the vase was purchased in 1947 at French& Co for 125 dollars, it was then valued 33 years ago in 1980 at 2000 dollars, and is also noted as being a Kangxi period piece on the paperwork. The Vase came from the estate with these top quality gold gilt solid bronze mounts which display the vase beautifully and which has been rewired for practical use. The gilt mounts are of the finest quality I have seen. Other than being drilled to the base the vase is otherwise in fine original condition with no damage. This is an unusual Chrinese tea bowl decorated on the exterior with a batavia brown palm leaf pattern. Flowers in polychrome enamels and an iron red circle to the rim. On the inside is a batavia brown glazed band with a thin brown circle below. On the inside base is a flower in iron red. Height 1 1/2" 4 cm) Diameter at rim 3 1/8" 8 cm) Kangxi Period 1662-1722. Double underglaze blue lines to the inside base following the trapezoid shape of the dish with lotus flower decoration within. Size is 8-3/8" diameter x 1-1/4" deep. Condition: good, reported to have restoration to one D shaped piece from the rim and hairline in the center, but I cannot see this on close examination.
