I am no expert on Chinese porcelain. But bought this as it looked very nice. I am not sure the exact age, but possibly some experts in Chinese porcelain may know and if you do wish to share your knowledge then I’d be only to happy to hear from you. The marks on the base are as shown in the photos. The vase or jar has been superbly decorated in a dark blue on white with little flowers and other foliage. There ... moreare also two cartouches or panels both showing a figure holding something. Standing before a larger bearded figure, possibly an elder who is standing under the branch of a tree. The vase or jar is hand decorated in blue with oriental scenes and displayed beautifully. It measures in at approx 5” in height and 2 ¾” across the widest part of the body and the base is approx 2” edge to edge. Condition: The jar is old and has some age related wear. Also some discoloration inside at the bottom. This wear is in the form of little glaze nibbles around the foot rim/ base. Around the foot rim/ base there is also some black material fused to the foot-rim which could be ash or similar from the time of firing. There is also a tight hairline to the upper rim edge, which runs down the neck area, this I have tried to photograph. To the rim edge there is also a tiny little fleabite chip or possibly a firing imperfection which is barely noticeable. The base also has some old black ash or similar stuck to it from the time of firing. Still a fine example of Chinese Kangxi porcelain that displays well. A stunning example. An attractive set of five Chines An attractive set of five Chinese export porcelain tea bowls and five saucers. Decorated in blue, c. 1800 description: On offer is this highly decorative set of five scaloped Chinese porcelain saucers and five cups. Hand decorated under glaze in deep blue on milky white. The saucers show an ornate design of elaborate flower patterns, alternating landscapes, in ten reserves, surrounding a circular flower pattern, within a continuous border. The backs of the plates are decorated with foliage and marked with a single symbol mark within concentric circles. The tea bowls have a near matching decoration. All five bowls are marked with a Kangxi four character mark. They all have a flower decoration on the inside base and floral and landscape patterns on the outside, divided in reserves. There is some variety in the ... moredecoration of the items. As visible on the pictures. However, decoration varieties are often found on groups of Chinese export ware. The condition of the items is very good. Three saucers are perfect or near perfect, having some very small rim chips/frittings. One saucer has a rim chip, associated with a very faint and short rim hairline. One saucer has a rim repair(see picture) The bowls all have small frittings/minor rim chips; four have a faint rim hairline, hardly visible with the naked eye. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the wonderful quality and the condition of the objects. This group displays very nicely These antique cups and saucers were made in China in the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. C. 1800. Although this type of tea ware was widely produced during the 18th century QianLong period, this could perhaps be dated slightly later. Ornately painted in blue and white, Kangxi period, early 18th century Description: On offer is this exquisite pair of large Chinese porcelain plates/chargers. Hand painted under glaze in deep blue on milky white. The plates are elaborately decorated and show an ornate pattern of pheasants on a rocky ground with blossoming flowers above. The borders have flower patterns in shaped reserves. Both chargers have flower garlands painted on the backside. Both are marked similarly with a script mark within concentric circles. Condition: one plate has a distinct rim chip and some more minor rim chips/frittings. It is o.k. otherwise and produces a clear sound when tapped by fingernails. The second plate has some rim chips/glaze frittings and rim chip associated with a faint rim ... morehairline(of ca. 5 cm) and is in excellent condition otherwise. Please view the pictures. Which give a good impression of the quality and the condition of the objects, which certainly can be called a matching set, although small pattern differences exist. These were made in China in the early 18th century. The marks. The Pot is a very fine and interesting piece, like no other example I have seen. The Pot has a Beautiful light Blue Claire De Lune glaze throughout, which is perfectly consistent all around the piece. The Pot itself also has a very unique form, and handled design. The Pot is very finely potted of a pure white porcelain, and has a finely carved and formed footrim. The Pot has a six character Kangxi mark to the base. The Pot does appear to show good and legitimate age throughout, but I am unsure if it would infact me a period example or possibly a later made piece, so I will let you decide for yourself and bid accordingly. As you can see the Pot does need a good cleaning, but I like to leave everything exactly as I receive it from the Estate. The Pot shows some light wear and scratches to the glaze, but is overall in fine untouched original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Pot measures 2 inches tall by 4 inches across the base.

The plate dates to the late part of the Kangxi reign c1715-20. The plates are elaborately decorated and show an ornate pattern of blossoming flowers and insects. Both plates have a profusely decorated backside, painted with flower garlands. Both plates are marked similarly with a script mark within concentric circles. Condition: one plate has a small rim breakage and was repaired previously. I assume this can be properly improved It is o.k. otherwise. The second plate has some tiny rim chips and a short and faint rim hairline. This plate is in excellent condition otherwise. The charger is well painted with a central rondel of plants surrounded by three rondels of flowers connected by an interesting border of flowers alternating with crosshatching. The charger measures 13.6 inches diameter or about 34.5 centimeters and is in generally excellent condition. There is a 2 inch long area on the rim that has been ground down slightly, located between 11 and 12 o'clock as indicated in the photos. There are a few small flakes on the back edge. I do wish everyone the Very Best of luck winning the auctions. Description Up for auction is a Very Rare Chinese Scenic Carved Bamboo Parfumier Incense Vase. The Incense Vase is a very interesting example. ... moreAnd this is the first one like this I have seen in person other than in books and high end auction catalogues. I was told by the estate the deceased collector considered the piece to be an Important and Very Rare example, and when it was purchased many years ago he paid right around 8000 dollars for it. I was told the inscription on the side indicates the piece was made in the 17th to 18th century, which is well worth looking into. I cannot read the inscription myself and this is just what I have been told, so I will let you ultimately decide its age and value for yourself and bid accordingly. The Vase is finely carved throughout with a great rocky mountainous landscape design including figures all around with some playing a board game, and has pierced bamboo trees, pine trees, and other interesting features. The Vase ends are removable and reveal holes which I think is were the incense would be places inside. As you can see the bamboo portion of the vase itself does have some cracks, which are all original natural age shrinkage cracks, which I am sure would be found on any earlier antique example like this. The Vase is overall in good original condition with no unnatural cracks
