This dates back to about the late 1940's or early 1950's and has no chips or cracks. The saucer measures almost 6" across. The cup measures about 4" at its widest part of the diameter. Total weight for the pair. 6.6 oz. I recently acquired this and other fine china/ ceramics at a yard sale. From a lady whose grandmother bought it all in Europe some time ago. ANTIQUE IVORY COAST CEREMONIAL MASK EXTREMELY RARE ANTIQUE COAST TRIBAL MASK SMITHSONIAN DISPLAY PIECE Here is very very rare USED authentic Coast Tribal Mask. Carved from mahogany. This is a 27" inch tribal mask that was actually worn during ceremonial dances. The width of this mask is 6" There are 2 openings on each side of the mask for binding this onto the face. The eyes have been painted black. Blue and white and have had slits cut out of them so that the tribesmen could see while performing in the ceremonial dances. This piece was on display at the Smithsonian. And was given to my neighbor by the owner of the display. who was an anthropology intern there, Even though it is used. It is still in extremely nice condition. You can see in the extreme close ups below that the detailed carving is still sharp and the paint is still ... morevery substantial. The theme of the mask seems to be a large serpent. The mask starts under the chin with a carving of a large black snake. The body of the serpent becomes the face of the mask. Blolo Bla Spirit Wife Wooden Carving Ivory Coast African
I bought this recently at an estate sale because I liked it- I know next to nothing about African art) The next day when I was packing it in my car a man came up to me. Identified himself as a collector of african sculptures and was quite excited about seeing this. He said it is a nice authentic one- not the contemporary garbage and that this one has age to it- at least dating to the 1940's if not earlier. The starting price is a fraction of what he thought its value was. Measures 27 1/2" and is affixed to a stand that looks contemporary to piece(overall is 29" tall) Weighs 7 pounds unpacked. Some of the pictures are blurry. I will try to replace those with better ones when I get them. This will be safely packaged.

Vintage 1950's Ivory Coloured Pearl Leaf Necklace
A lovely 1950's faux pearl beaded choker necklace. Ivory cream in colour. It comprises of 3 rows of different sized pearls. With the bottom row being engraved pearls in the shape of a leaf. Adjustable in length. It measures 16 inches from one end to the other. Closes with a metal hook. Very slight markings on some of the beads which you can see in the photographs. These are not really visible to the naked eye and in no way detracts from this stunning piece of vintage jewellery. It has a good weight and sits beautifully when worn.

Up for bids is an old vintage Ivory sleigh bow for a 4.4 violin. The frog is made of ivory I believe.I have had this in the family for years and years so I think it is very. Very old. It doesn't have any hair so that will need to be fixed on it. It looks straight to me when I look down it. I have no idea what kind of wood it is. It starts out hexagonal shaped then turns round. It measure approx. 29 inches in length. It has a mop slide and dots on each side. I believe the little metal thing that hold the hair is silver I am not for sure.but it looks to be silver.
