Repaint the inside a nice almond color and clean the paint off all of the tin attachements. These cabinets in the original finish are getting harder to find. This cabinet features the built in FLOUR BIN, very hard to find door mount SUGAR BIN and SPICE RACK, TOKEN TRAY, RECPIE HOLDER, EXTRACT RACK, 2 BILL HOOKS, COOKBOOK HOLDER, 5 CUP HOOKS, ROLLING PIN and HOLDER, 9 Pc. Napanee Hoosier Style Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Porcelain Top. This is a genuine Napanee Hoosier Cabinet Model J. as stamped on the back. 1925. It is just the( bottom) portion but includes the white porcelain top. The cabinet measures 48" x 27" The white porcelain top has 8 porcelain chips on the edges as you can see from the photos and two tiny flea bites, also on the side. There are 5 drawers. The top left drawer is divided into 3 back sections and 2 front sections. The drawer is 21 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. The top right drawer is one large drawer 21 x 21 1/2 long and 3/3/4" deep. The right middle drawer is 12" wide and 6 1/2" deep. The bottom right drawer is a metal bread box 11" wide for the insert and 12" wide including the wood, 9 1/2 inches deep. This drawer has some damage to the wood at ... morethe top and bottom as you can see from the photos. The 2 big lower drawers each have metal brackets measuring 8 1/2" high and 13 1/2" long. Inside this section, the top shelf sides out and has been replaced. It measures 29" x 21 imches and the space height is 6 3/4" The bottom shelf has a new bottom over the old and measures 10" in height form the shelf above. There are two slide out boards: a pastry board measuring 15 1/2 x 21 3/4 wide with a hand notch undernearth for easy handling. the other is a cutting board 11" x 16" made of 1" stock wood. The back of the cabinet says Porcelain White Model J and has the original shipment tag: Napanee IND 839-M and a partial Railway sticker The veneer is wavey on the bottom back but the cabinet is solid. The cabinet needs slides for the porcelain top. The previous owner had stripped the white paint which is still visible in the edges. Old hardware. Some work and repairs, a face lift, and you will have a beautiful, old Hoosier Cabinet. This cabinet needs to be picked up. We will not ship it. Vintage Oak Hoosier Style Cabinet By Klamer-Goebel Furniture Co. Evansville, IN
This is a beautiful old two piece Hoosier style bakers cabinet. It measures approx. 75" Tall x 26" deep x 42" wide. The counter top measures 48 1/4" wide as it overhangs the edges of the cabinet. The cabinet was made by the Klamer-Goebel Furniture Company in Evansville. Indiana. The label is still affixed to the back of the cabinet. If I had to guess the age of the cabinet, I would say that it is from the mid to late 1930's. It has been recently refinished which consisted of painstakingly stripping 3 layers of different colored paint and one coat of stain down to the original oak, then applying a coat of Sedona Red stain was applied to the outside of the cabinet in a manner which allowed the natural grains in the oak still to come through. if you zoom in the 1st picture you can see the natural grain of the oak! The ... moreinside of the cabinet was painted with a high grade paint and primer in a very similar color. The counter top is also oak and was also painted with the same color and sealed several times. New round casters were added to the bottom that are very similar to the original ones that were broken and not working. The color of this cabinet, which i consider to be close to a rich,warm cinnamon shade will go great with any color cabinets you have in your kitchen, white, medium or dark. There is a pull out biscuit prep board under the counter top. There are two tilt out bins on the bottom and a slide out drawer on the bottom left. There is no wood rot anywhere on the cabinet.The top middle door mirror is old and beveled with minor age spots and the other two top doors have an old frosted crackled ice type glass in them. There is also a smaller tilt out bin on the top middle with a drawer above it. Other than the cabinet being quite old and it's normal condition from age, there are no major defects whatsoever. Painted white with a retro fence and floral design that is very 1940s or 1950s- paint is a little scratchy and spotty on the lid, the chromed steel bottom has some slight pitting. Nice shabby vibe though, would be a good accent piece for a country or cottage style kitchen. Not just decorative, though, the sifter mechanism is still in perfectly functional. Roughly 10" tall and 5 5/8" in diameter. Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of overall condition and appeal. Wood Cabinet with 3 Lg + 6 Sm Glass Scoops RARE! ~ Primitive LOTS more close-up pictures further below! Wonderful unique primitive Hoosier Cabinet with all those scoops! A RARE Counter or Cupboard Cabinet with the“Hoosier” spice scoops. I am not an expert in this area. But I think this might be called a“German Hoosier Spice Cabinet” The 9 glass drawer scoops were made by the German Company– Heye Schauenstein Company. This company ~ H Heye Glasfabrik Schauenstein is in Schauenstein. Germany. The Herman Heye glass Factory is well known and was started in the 1800s. it is still a major company and operates glass factories in various European countries plus USA. The Heye Schauenstein Company also made items like these to be used in cosmetic firms. Pharmacies, and in laboratories. These individual glass scoops are highly collectible and scarce ... morethemselves. As you probably know, and generally sell for $50 to $100 each. when you can find one! The glass scoops alone are woth probably almost $500. The sturdy primitive cabinet is made of wood– I see no maker marks. It is 19 ½” long x 11 ½” tall and 7 ½” deep. The scoops– 3 large and 6 small are made of heavy thick pressed glass in the shape of a scoop. The Heye Schauenstein Maker mark is on the bottom with the 3 clover leaf design in a circle as well as the company name. The scoops have a dimpled pattern on the sides and have a pull handle on the front. The small ones measure approximately 4 ¾” long x 2 ¾” wide and 2 ½” tall; the large ones measure 7 ¼” long x 4 ½” wide by 4 ¼” tall. I am not sure exactly how old this is- but VERY old- it is an original and has a great patina! Condition ~ in very good condition. The glass scoops are in excellent condition and do not have any cracks or chips or scratches except for one of the small ones had a small chip on one of the top edges– these were well taken care of. ~ The cabinet is not a piece of“fine furniture” it is more primitive– a sturdy working guy! ~ The cabinet has minor normal w

Made by the Owens Illinois glass company. Hoosier cabinet glass jar. Measures 7 1/2' High 5" opening. Bottom is 6 1/4" Each ribbed measures 2 3/4" wide. As the pictures show it is marked with the Owens company mark. Has 772. On one of the octagon C1327 is embossed in the glass on the bottom# 2 on another one. In great condition. Rust on the tan metal lid. Few fleas on the jar where the lid closes. In the glass there is a line the length of the jar that looks like a mold mark. There is bubbles in the glass. Set 3 Hoosier cabinet spice jars 1910's kitchen counter Allspice Cloves Pepper
A set of 3 different spice jars that probably were used in a hoosier cabinet or on the kitchen counter. They are light sun colored anhd probably from 1900 to 1915 era. They are embossed Cloves Pepper and Allspice. They likely came in a larger set with spices like marjoram ginger cinnamon basil etc. The design is new to me and haven't seen others before. Not like the usual hoosier spice jars. They have aluminum lids with only a few minor dents. No defects excwept one"fleabite" on the inside rim of one jar. There are a few bubbles and occlusions. They measure about 4 inches tall and 2-1/2 inch bottom diameter. Keep watching as I go through the old boxes stored away for many years. Shipping is $6.15 to $9.67 in the USA. More elsewhere. This a vintage enamel top authentic Hoosier brand cabinet cupboard! There is 1 drawer. A pullout cutting board, and the original metal rack on the inside of the door! There is an oval metal plate on the front, it is embossed with the word"Hoosier" paint covered) The original casters are still on the bottom. The enamel top is white. It had been painted over at one time, and the paint is peeling off. The enamel is vintage worn and has no chips. What a Sweet, utilitarian piece! The cabinet stands 32" tall. 23" wide and 18" deep. The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. in Indiana was incorporated in 1899 with John M. Maring is President. Houses of the period were frequently not equipped with built-in cabinetry. Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet Sugar Dispensing Jar dated 1915 Excellent Condition!
This is an original Hoosier Sugar Dispensing Jar made by the Sneath Glass Company for the Hoosier Manufacturing Company. I've been a collector of Hoosier Cabinet glassware and other cabinet manufacturer's glassware for over 40 years and this is one of the nicest sugar jars I've ever had. One thing you never or hardly ever see on ebay auctions for this type of glassware is a Patent Date in the glass. This jar has a patent date of November 2. 1915 embossed in the glass which you can see in one of the pictures(it is very hard to show it in the light but in person it is very readable and nice! It is very rare to find one with the patent date that you can actually read and most people don’t realize that this particular style jar had one! There is also a photo from an original Hoosier Manufacturing Company catalog that shows a picture ... moreof this particular sugar jar that holds 7 1/2 pounds of sugar next to a picture of their other standard metal sugar bin(the photograph is not for sale, only the sugar jar is for sale) There are a number of small bubbles in the glass that adds to the beautiful character of the jar and you will notice that both the top and the bottom of the jar is"rough cut" glass. This is a characteristic that shows it is old and made almost 100 years ago. The jar includes both lids: the one at the top of the jar and the screw-on dispensing cap. Both are also in excellent shape for their age. It also includes the 2 piece bracket that goes around the jar to hold it in place plus the smaller bracket which secures it to the inside of the cabinet. I've also taken one picture of the jar upside down so you can see what it would look like installed inside your Hoosier Cabinet. The jar is approximately 10" tall and 7" in diameter. THE ONLY THING FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION IS THE SUGAR JAR WITH BOTH ITS LIDS/CAPS AND THE BRACKET. Sellers Cabinet Hoosier Style Flour Sifter Wood Oak Slag Stained Glass Windows
A fine example of the Hoosier style cabinet so popular in the early part of the last century. Oak and mixed woods construction with amber slag glass in the top cabinet doors. The sifter is intact and working. The tambour side-rolling doors are missing. And the latch to the center top door was replaced at some point with a hook and eye that works quite well for the purpose. As in many of these cabinets, the trays are missing from the bottom large cupboard and the sliding top is gone from the metal bread drawer. The cabinet measures 70" tall by 40" wide and 24" deep when the porcelain top is slid back, about 30-32" when it is slid out to make a larger work surface. Very nice condition, painted interior. All drawers, pullouts and doors work well, original hinges a few screws look like they have been replaced at some time. This is an original Napanee Dutch Kitchenette Model Z made in Indiana. It has the original spice rack and tag on the inside top door. It is 71" tall. 41" wide and 28" deep. The enamel shelf does come out for more baking room. There is a metal liner in the bottom left drawer and racks in the right bottom door. It is in excellent condition.
